"We should get to the office but be careful, I hear foot steps the other way." Stephanie started running, Alex in tow.
"What is this, Metal Gear Schooldance?", Peter joked before following Stephanie and Alex toward the office.
"Star how would that help. I dont have a D20 also we don't have any base Stats and finally this isn't a Sewers and Secrets Scenario. Unless you count the Basilisk boarding school Expansion." Stephanie continued running down the halls looking back to see if Maggie and Adam were behind her.
Star chuckled as she went along. "You only need a d12 for the Pretty Pegasus RPG. And since everyone would be a student, everyone's stats are the same." The class was getting closer to the office. The students in the lead could see that there was a bicycle chain wrapped around the door handle. It was a three-digit combination lock.
Jessie ran ahead of the group and pulled out a thin metal sword like weapon. "I've always wanted to use this!" He jumped up slightly and slashed down through the metal chain, cleanly removing it. "Who'd like to do the honors of looking inside?" He jumped away from the door slightly when a sound echoed from inside.
Stephanie looked at Alex who looked like he was about to push the door open. She then followed him inside switching the lights on.
Maggie followed, checking behind them nervously at the doors that were now being pounded at. "We really should hurry." she said softly. "They're coming."
Peter sighed "Are you guys really thinking the JANITOR has some deep dark, evil secret? Either this is all one elaborate prank, or I'm dreaming." Peter then got a smirk on his face "How about the big brave skinny nerd walks in and does some recon?" He walked through the door to office.
Peter, Stephanie, and Alex walked in through the door and switched on the lights. Behind the principal's desk, they found the principal's chair, empty. Oddly, there were loops of rope hanging loosely from the arms of the chair, as if someone or something had been tired there. On the chair, they found a note. The note had a doodle of a smiling mushroom, with writing beneath it. "Sorry, but your Princess is in another classroom." It wasn't signed.
Peter chuckled "See guys, just an elaborate prank with a hilarious pay-off, I bet if we talk to Blueblood and Cadence, they'll laugh, this is much more fun than being told that in the actual game."
"Well if you want to do that fine but I'm looking for Mr Drims this coin thing isn't going to solve itself." she wondered for a minute before stopping. "This heels are getting annoying, better switch them." she slipped out of her heels placing them in her handbag and replacing them with black vans and trainer socks.
"Janitors have offices?" Jessie frowned as he looked around the room. He grabbed the rope and put it on his belt.
Peter chuckled "Guys, the dance is almost over, besides, I'm pretty sure there is a SCIENTIFIC explanation for this."
"If you really believed that, you'd want to know what was causing it. Otherwise you'd have just stayed at the dance." Jessie smirked at Peter.
Peter raised an eyebrow "I do want to know more about it, but wouldn't it be more logical to just take them to a coin expert so they can tell us the type of metal?"
Star frowned as she read the note. "I don't know about science, but it seems like all this weirdness started when Stephanie and Maggie's coins got...'less coiny'. And they were given to you guys by Mister Drims..." She wrapped her arms around herself and shivered slightly. "Also, I don't know about you guys, but he kinda creeps me out..." "Not to mention...Miss Cadence doesn't seem like the sort to hit anyone, regardless of whether they deserve it or not..." ------- Meanwhile, in the auditorium, Discord, still in his "Mr. Drims costume", paced about the stage, as if waiting for someone. Celestia, oddly dressed in a great, poofy gown, tried in vain to remove her hands from a pair or manacles that held her to a pillar. She made a mental note to cut the Drama club's budget next year. At least her mouth was free... "Just what are you trying to accomplish, anyway?" Discord sighed exasperatedly and replied, "If I've told you once, I've told you a dozen times! I'm performing an experiment!" "What kind?" "The kind that I don't have to explain to you..." "You'll never-" "Get away with this? Please, I saw that coming a mile away..."
"Mr Drims doesn't have an office, but the Janitor's closet might be a good place to look." Adam said. "It's down that hall, I believe." He said, pointing in the direction of the D Hall.
"how about we split up, Me, Maggie, Jessie and Alex in one group. While the rest are in another. That makes things easier, anyone else brought their mobile with them."
