Jessie snuck outside, watching intently to make sure Blueblood was nowhere around. He slid up to Star's table and sat down, dropping his club on the table. "Guess what? Peter, Adam, Maggie, and I just agitated some over the top hall guard. I'm hiding... but y'know. Just in case." He spun his club over his head. "I think everyone else was off to get the guidance counselor. I hid. I probably made the wrong choice..."
Star leaned back when Jessie drew his club, but then laughed softly. "Oh. So...he's after you then?" She glanced around, hoping the guard wasn't around, then said, "I don't know if I can protect you." Her tone somewhat implied that she was joking, but her voice shook enough to let him know that she was concerned about him."
"I can handle myself. I'm just hiding.. and you're the only person out here I know." He smiled and leaned back, lifting his feet up onto the table. "I mean, as far as I know everyone else is under the protection of a teacher right now... so, that makes me the best target." (His club is a classic juggling club. Red with a white stripe.)
"Ok, thanks for the advice Mrs. Cadenza, have good day!" Adam said, before walking off to his next period- Science.
"Magic?" asked Maggie, thinking. "Well, actually, yes. After my pet hamster died, and then suddenly revived, I did. I'm not religious, you see."
Damian was walking past Star and Jessie. He had quickly heard about the apparent hall monitor incident, he just seemed to know things quicker than other people. The issue itself would not large enough to ask any of the higher end teachers about it just yet, but he will go to them if it escalates any higher. "Howdy. You talking bout this Hall Monitor business?" (Australia does not have Hall Monitors. Oh, the joys of learning about different cultures....)
Drims clapped his hands gleefully! "Excellent!" He performed a quick slieght-of-hand and produced a small, golden coin. He then handed it to Maggie. "Here you go, Magpie. The next time Blueblood gives you trouble, just knock this coin against something hard..." he leaned in close, "Like his head, perhaps. Ha! Something special will happen. Just you see." With that, he tipped his hat and wandered off. If Maggie examined the coin, she would see nothing remarkable about it, besides that it felt a bit heavier than a coin of its size should. ----- Star was about to say something to Jessie, possibly something meaningful, when Damien approached. She politely wave to him and said, "Yes. Apparently, Jessie has a knack for making enemies. By my count, he's got two already. He's currently hiding from the hall monitor..."
Adam sat through the boring lecture of the Science teacher, while taking notes. "Man, this is the only boring part of the day so far... History was good, Mathematics wasn't that bad, Reading was excellent... and lunch was... interesting to say the least. But not this. This is grade A boring." He thought to himself.
Meanwhile in history, Stephanie was learning about the roman empire. The first title in her books was: "How did the Roman empire improve on the ancient Greeks and Egyptians that came before?" the teacher said that most titles would be questions but she didn't think they would be that long. She sat and watched the PowerPoint slowly shifting into a state of daydreaming. Only to be brought back through the annoying chatter of the back row.
"If I'm gonna be enemies with someone, then they aren't someone worth being friends with. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an art class to sneak to without getting caught... See you later friends." Jessie spun his club and took off into the school and slid down the hallway along the wall. As he walked he looked behind him and turned down a hallway and accidentally ran into the back of the janitor, Mr. Drims. "Gah! Oh, sorry..." He walked to the side and started past the janitor. "Gonna be late."
"Well then. Aint this an awkward time to introduce myself." the 15 year old then reached out to shake hands. "Names Damian Winters, nice to meet you."
(time skip for Peter, seeing as we can't interact with eachother during these class sessions....and because it's time for Spiderman plot point! ) School was over, Peter,walked home, into his room and unzipped his jacket, revealing the logo of a spider on red and blue spandex "Okay Peter, tonight's your big debut. If there is an after life your uncle is looking at you right now, smiling. ", he said to himself as his web shooters turned on. He then jumped out the window and put on his mask. He then shot a web to the nearest skyscraper, and the next thing he knew, he was practically Tarzan, swinging from web after web. It was an assault, the victim was some lady and the culprit was ... Blueblood? Oh, this was going to be fun. He swung down and landed gracefully. "Well if it ain't hall monitor Blueblood." Blueblood looked over and chuckled a bit. "So one of the meatbags decided to become a super hero. Go ahead, shoot lasers from your eyes.", He laughed. "Tell me, which one are you?" "You don't recognize my soothing voice? I'm hurt.", Peter wittily replied. "But not as hurt as you'll be if you don't put the lady down." "As you wish.", Blueblood said, then proceeded to charge Peter and attempt to punch him. Peter caught his fist and flicked him in the nose before pushing him to the ground. "Dude, I don't care if Principal Celestia doesn't see how much of a (censored) you are, she can only protect you from staff punishments, she can't protect you from physical beatings." Blueblood got up and began to speak. "I'll get you for-", Peter webbed his mouth shut. "I don't appreciate your tone.", he then grabbed BlueBlood and punched him in the face, knocking him out He then went over to the girl, and picked her up "C'mon, we have to get you medical attention, Blueblood will be fine, I only hit him hard enough to knock him out.." Spoiler: Who I was hoping the girl could be I was hoping the girl would either be Star Shimmer or Councelor Cadenza, it would be an interesting twist. Spoiler: How this back fires on Peter. Since Blueblood is Celestia's Nephew, Celestia will believe Bluebloods side of the story, thus making a school newspaper article saying "This 'Spiderman' is a menace to society'" Blueblood's side of the story will say that he was leisurely chatting with the girl when Spidey came out of nowhere and beat them both up.
(Alrighty.) Star was walking home from school when she heard someone call out her name. At first, she assumed at was Jessie or Damien, so she turned around with a smile on her face. Having not seen Blueblood before this moment, she rightly wasn't expecting it when he quickly grabbed her arm and squeezed it. Hard. "Where's he at, Sparkles?" Star tried to pull away, but his grip was too strong. "Who? What are you talking about?" Blueblood jerked her arm, twisting it. "Your boyfriend, the clown! Where is he?!" "Stop! I don't know who-". Suddenly, as she thought of Jessie and his juggling club, and how handy it would be right now... "You're the hall monitor! Ow!" Blueblood pushed her down, finally releasing his grip on her arm. As she rubbed it, he remarked, "Yeah. The name's Blueblood, and don't you forget it. I rule this school!" He was about to reach for her arm again before someone landed near the two. The spandex-clad hero quickly dispatched Blueblood. Star knew she heard his love somewhere before, but couldn't place it... "Th-thanks," she shakily replied, glancing at Blueblood, laid out on the sidewalk. Her lip shook as she fought the pain in her arm, which was already forming a bruise. If dad finds it about this, he'll have me pulled from this school, too... "Who...who are you, anyway?"
Peter thought ....The gang saved me, but I can't allow anyone to know who I am "Just call me Spiderman.", he said.
Maggie walked through the alleyways, clutching her books to her chest, as she studied the coin. Avoiding weirdos, and the like, she studied the coin, only looking up occasionally at grunts from sleeping, unkempt people. She broke into a slight run, emerging from the alley. She looked around, and headed to a small house at the edge of the road.
Peter, having taken Star to the hospital, snuck in through the window to his room, changed into some regular clothes, and turned on the news. "Oscorp CEO Filthy Rich has yet again made a break through with his new tech-glider, a machine that allows man to fly just by standing on a platform. The board and commitee refused to market this item to the public, as they are afraid it could be used as a weapon of war. The CEO himself admitted that at the velocities it can reach, bombings would be easy." Spoiler: YAY! I maded a foreshadow.
Maggie reached the gate, and hesitated. She looked around, feeling as if she was being watched. A male slumped against the brick wall, eyes on her. She turned back to the gate, and unhooked the latch. She stepped into the overgrown lawn, and went inside the house.
Jessie sat, looking at the city from his window. He sat down and his pet cat came up next to him. He petted it's head and started talking as if it was listening to him. "Bullies at the school... Man, have I never been so happy to have not been myself. I mean... I made a couple friends, but I doubt anyone else would be even a bit okay with it. Oh well." He laid down, resting his head on his pet's side and quickly fell asleep. (He comes from a circus. His pet cat is a white tiger >.< Deal with it.)
"Dad?" called out Maggie. A murmur came from inside the living room. She walked into her father, a bottle in one hand, a remote in the other. "Dad, how many is that?" she asked. "Git.. out. You don't know." he said, in a drunken slur. He raised his bottle, and Maggie took a step back. She took a deep breath. "Dad, give me the bottle." He considered her for a moment, and Maggie came closer. "Give me the bottle, ok?" He raised his hand, and hit the bottle over Maggie's head, and it shattered, the glass falling on her head. She gasped, took a step back, and ran out of the house. She touched her forehead, and pulled her hand back, and cursed. She was bleeding. She ran back through the alleyways, retreating.
