After finishing all his assignments and going over notes, Adam was called down to dinner. "Mmm, barbeque!" He said, before taking a bite into the ribs. "Mmm. I don't know how you do it mom, but these are the best ribs I've had!" "I've been telling you it's in the sauce, Adam." His mom replied. After finishing his dinner, he walked into his room and turned on his PC. He clicked on an icon labeled, "Mass Effect Trilogy." "Finally, I'm going to get to finish this series!"
(OK. Let me finish this post. Is it the weekend or..?) Maggie woke with a small gasp, looking around.
(Probably not the weekend, let's just keep up this "Before school" thing until everyone has made their "What I do in the afternoon" post) Peter walked into the room, eggs on his plate. He set the eggs down and said "Morning, gorgeous", he then quickly covered his mouth.
Peter felt a bit awkward but continued the conversation. "Glad to see you looking better, you had me worried sick last night."
"Here you go Shep, enjoy your food." the Border Collie looked up before starting to eat from her bowl. She then proceeded to go upstairs grabbing the make up wipes and clearing her face. She then proceeded to get some cotton buds from the shelf pouring nail varnish remover on them and cleaning the varnish off. She then proceeded downstairs where her mother had just about finished setting up the table for dinner. Stephanie sat down grabbing a plate and loading it with a bit of Vindaloo curry, 2 popadoms and a few spoonfulls of basmati rice. As her father (Jake Broad), Sister (Rachel Broad) and Mother (Amelia Broad) sat down they began chatting about school, then the bully sitchuation came out of her mouth. Her father was annoyed; just because He was the Nephew of Celestia shouldn't make him exempt from punishment or to be biased in arguments. Jake got up after dinner and pulled out his mobile phone setting a memo to call the school board about this incident. Of course Stephanie didn't want him to call the Board but she had no choice, she watched some Doctor Who with family then headed up to bed. Cleaning her teeth and changing into a short pink nightie.
"Hey... sorry for making fun of you and Jacob like that.", he said before realizing it was all or nothing. "Say, if your available... um...", he then stopped. "Never mind, I just remembered girls don't like nerds. Especially ones that cause bullies to grab their arms."
On the outside, Maggie said nothing, a little confused. On the inside, however, Maggie's thoughts raced. "Why?"
Peter realized he had made Maggie uncomfortable. He slowly backed out of the room and turned around "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!", he said, forgetting she was still there.
Adam's alarm clock begun to buzz. He sat up, stretched out, and hit the "Snooze" button on the clock. After changing clothes, brushing his teeth and eating breakfast, he went into his basement and looked at his double bass. "Well, Orchestra try-outs are today... and I'm going to have to lug this thing around with me... joy." He put the bass in it's bag, and put the straps over his shoulder. He walked slowly up the stairs, grabbed his courier bag and walked out the door, trying not to damage the scroll of the large instrument.
Jessie was in a large round room with several shadowed out shapes. The first one suddenly lit up, showing Peter, with eight arms, like a spider, with a green mist swirling around his feet. The next shape lit up, showing Maggie with bottles sticking out of her in various places, with a dark shadow cast over her. The third lit up as Steph, small, with three demonic looking girls standing over her. Jessie tried to move but was completely immobile in his nightmare. Star was next, a bright light shining on her from above, but she was being held up by the neck, by a large Minotaur like thing. Before the remaining shapes were lit up, Jessie jumped out of bed, waking up in terror. He couldn't remember the nightmare, but he knew it was awful.
"What's there to be confused about? I'm a nerd. You're a gorgeous girl who stood up for me. Either way, we better get ready, or else we'll be late for school.", Peter said, using being late for school as an excuse to change the subject.
"OK." she said, soft. She stood up, a little unsteady, and folded the blanket she slept in. She thought for a moment. "Oh.. I need my books." she said, her voice full of dread. "They're at home." She turned to Peter. "I've got to go get them."
"I'll come with you. If you're not going to accept police help than someone needs to make sure that assaulter doesn't lay another finger on you.", Peter said.
When Steph got up she had a breakfast bagel. She then proceeded to get changed into something less showy opting for a light pink and white designer polo, skinny jeans and pink vans shoes. She put on some nail varnish, lipstick and mascara before heading down noticing her father had just finished a phone call. "Oh God, he Actually did it. I'm not getting slack from Celestia or Blueblood. At least vice principle Luna and Mrs Cadenza aren't like that especially Cadenza." she carried on walking down the stairs heading outside. Her dad was going to drop her off on the way to work but a 6 figure black car with tinted windows (think rolls-Royce) isn't the best thing to arrive in especially since she wanted to keep a low profile. Finally she cleared her throat and pulled out some lyrics; the Auditions were today and she wanted to play Marius since there was a lack of a certain gender in drama.
