"Was she really? Didn't you say something about her family being.. not the greatest?" Mae asked saying the last part quietly. "Maybe something happened at home that caused the break up and the bullying. Something drastic.. like a lost family member..or a change in the family" Mae was now basically talking out-loud to herself and she figured out the problem. 'I got it! Remember when Raven threatened to tell her dad then suddenly ran out crying? its her father that happened"
"Raven's house. I'll be there with you. Bolt will handle the problem unless he needs me." Steel explained
"o-ok.." she took a deep breath and fidgeted with a random scrap of metal on the table nervously. "Taking a trip to the bully's house.. you know, i thought this would happen with my parents.."
"Bolt and I kick ass pretty well. You don't need your parents. You've got your boyfriend." Steel said, hugging her.
"b-boyfriend.." she repeated to herself quietly as if the word didn't exist but a smile came to her lips and she hugged him back happily. "Thank you Steel." she whispered and kissed his cheek.
"You're welcome, sweetheart." Steel said, kissing Mae back as the bell rang. Bolt stretched his wings and smiled. "You two ready?" He asked "Yeah. Fly." Steel replied, holding Mae tightly as he magically bound himself to Bolt's back and they flew out the back door towards Raven's house.
Mae could fly herself but she found it better in Steel's arms. "So.. why exactly are we going to Raven's house?"
"S-sure" she smiled just as they arrived at Raven's house. It was big and an obvious sign that the family came wealthy. Mae stared at the large double front doors growing more nervous as she scaled the large windows beside the door. "I see where the stuck-up comes from.." she said
"Our house makes this look small." Bolt said. Steel knocked on the door. He was hoping Raven would answer
"this makes my one room apartment look like a shack.." Mae muttered and held his hoof nervously. Raven answered the door and suddenly slammed it shut in fright, "G-go away!! i wont bully Little Mae anymore!!" she yelled through the door.
"Raven, can I come in? These jerks can stay out here." Bolt asked. Steel hugged Mae tight and nuzzled her
The door clicked again and slowly opened, Raven grabbed Bolt's hoof and anked him in and slammed the door locking it again.. "Why are they here?" she kissed. "Im not a jerk right?" Mae whimpered and higged him tightly
"Well, happy to see you again. Didn't know you were un-breaking up with me." Bolt said, surprised by the kiss, and returned it. "We're here to find out what made you change, love." Bolt said, holding Raven. "We want to help you." He added. "No, you're not a jerk." Steel assured her.
"You used to be so sweet...you would never hurt anypony. Then you started all of this picking on ponies. Raven...tell me what's wrong...please." Bolt said, brushing Raven's mane away from her face and looking into her eyes
