Raven smiled and kissed him again, "why did I ever break up with you?" she whispered and held onto him tightly. "I'm glad you like your reward, I know she loves the one you stole her heart." Mae blushed and played with a loose piece of her hair nervously.
"I don't know...hey, wanna go out?" Bolt asked with a smile. "Good...and hell, I think you might like Raven now...she'll be super sweet at dinner. In fact, hold on. I'm gonna go apologize and see what she does." Steel said. He knocked on Bolt's door three times. "Can I see Raven real fast?" He asked in a little colt voice
"I would love to." she giggled but was interrupted when she heard the knock in the door. "Fine.." she said as she opened the door.
"I'm glad you have Bolt. Now he can hang out with you. He's not a jerk when he has you with him. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for hitting you with a pencil. Here." Steel said, handing Raven a pencil and giving her the back of his head. Bolt looked on eagerly
Raven looked at the pencil then to Steel pondering if she should or not. "No.. i-I don't want to be like that.." she said as she snapped the pencil in half and gave it back
"Awww...give 'im a hug, Raven. He's gonna be your brother for a while...maybe forever." Bolt said. Steel looked at Mae, mouthed "sorry." and shrugged, and then opened his hooves to Raven. "Come here, sis." He said
Raven hesitantly stepped into his arms and hugged him then moved by Mae. "I'm so sorry Mae, I-I didn't mean those things I've said.." she said. Mae smiled and hugged her tightly, "Its ok Raven, I forgive you."
"We did good today." Steel said to Bolt. "Yes. Thank you, Steel. If not for you, I wouldn't have Raven." Bolt said. "No problem." Steel said, as the brothers hugged each other
Mae and Raven finished and Raven took Bolt to the pool out back leaving Mae alone with Steel again. "So.. now what do you want to do?" Mae asked
"We could watch how Fire Bolt acts in water." Steel offered. Bolt squirmed and flailed as Raven pulled him into the pool. He surfaced, a huge frown on his face and steam pouring from his nostrils. "I hate water..." He groaned
"Oh no.." Mae giggled. "I know you do but I love it." Raven giggled and dove under. She was the captain of the swim team and had lettered in swimming. "You can get out if you wish."
"I also gave alot of it too." Raven said sadly. "And thank you for um letting me stay here for a bit, I promise ill try to make things right at home." "Thank you" Mae blushed. "I-ive grown up in Trottingham all my life."
Steel giggled, seeing his brother writhing and boiling water in the pool. "I think I'm gonna go start cooking now...I can only really make the bread." Steel said, walking to the kitchen and putting dough on a pan and the pan in the oven. "Hey, Raven, Steel's cooking. I think I'm gonna go help him." Bolt said, steaming all of the water off of him as he left the pool and enterred the kitchen. "So, noodles?" Bolt asked "Yeah, you could do that." Steel said, handing Bolt the noodles, which were quickly cooked using Bolt's insane fire powers. "Do the sauce while I get all the seasonings." Steel said. The brothers worked, and in a half hour, dinner was done.
"Aren't they just great?" Raven asked whispering into Mae's ear. "Oh Yaa." Mae swooned as she watched Steel like a love-struck yearling "Well jeez Mae, no need to drool" Raven giggled as Mae blushed and wiped the nom-existant drool.
"Dinner...is served!" The two said in unison, setting the table. "Double bro date?" Steel asked "You know it!" Bolt answered, the two sitting next to their girlfriends and across from one another. "I forgot the salad..." Steel said, running and getting it, giving everypony a plate.
"Wow.. this looks amazingly good!" Raven proclaimed, admiring the food before her. Mae nodded, "I-i agree, it looks great." she added with a sweet smile
Steel and Bolt reached across the table, giving each other a quite literal brohoof. "We made the best for the best." Steel said, kissing Mae on the cheek "All for you, darling." Bolt said, doing the same to Raven. "So...Bolt...this spaghetti is delicious." Steel complimented. "Not as good as these rolls...what do you do?" Bolt asked "I cook em with butter on them and then add more when they're done." Steel answered
"Oh my god, you have got to teach me that." Raven said taking a bite from her roll. "I think me and Mae will have to take classes.."
"I'll teach you girls!" Steel exclaimed as he put a hoof around Mae. Bolt nuzzled Raven. "Everything taste good?" He asked everyone. Steel nodded, mouth full of spaghetti
