America! F**K YEAH! On topic - I find it really annoying when people bring their poorly-behaved children to a restaurant. If I'm paying to have a nice dinner, I don't want to have to hear little Timmy whining the whole time.
Or movie theaters. Or department stores. Sorry, but if you have enough money to fill your shopping cart five feet high at Ross, then I'm going to have to say you probably have enough money to hire someone to watch your kids for a couple of hours.
They need to make it illegal to have small and/or disruptive children entirely. Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
At my final school camp, my (Catholic/Anglican) school would not allow me and my friends to play "Harmless" card games in the cafeteria. Blackjack and Texas Hold em were apparently 'offensive' We also could not work with music, or allow us to dress up for Sports day and give us our 12th grade run. What's next? Are they going to make us conform and make the boys wear skirts ?
This fandom. Now if you know me, you would know that I used to be a huge fan and proud to call myself a brony. Unfortunately that has changed. I know a lot of you guys are great people and don't get me wrong, I have made a few friendship via MLP, but when I see people take that show so seriously like it defines them as a person and go around wearing shirts and backpacks and stuff, basically yelling, "LOOK AT ME!!! I'M DIFFERENT!!! YOU SHOULD ACCEPT ME!!!" It really makes me feel unfomoratable. I look back at myself a year ago when I was gungho about the show and used to wear the shirts proudly and want to talk about the show all the time but now I just keep it to myself and other IRL brony friends. Another thing is I have a hard time enjoying watching the show due to freaking analysts (if you know me you know I hate analysts). They were good in the off season but now that they are posting their thoughts every week and making me question my own opinion of the episode it is really eritating. I know what you are saying, "But A Smoove Criminal, if you don't like the analysts why don't you just not watch them. Well, I have stopped now, I tried very hard to see if they could redeem themselves and as soon as DigiBrony changed his style to some weird smoking guy that pushed me over the edge. IDK what else to say, I am just embaresd to proudly call myself a brony anymore seeing when some of you people do. I know I have ranted for awhile now but I really needed to get that off my chest. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I know a lot of you are great people it's just the few that stand out and make the fandom look bad are what make me really want to stay away. I will continue to watch the show because hell ya it's a great show, just I don't feel like I want to consider myself a brony any longer.
I'm inclined to agree with you. I can't stand people that demand unconditional acceptance, and this fandom seems to have a disproportionate number of people like that. That said, I still consider myself a Brony, but I've never been the type to be rabid about any of my fandoms.
I have to agree with you completely. Some people take the show and fandom way to far. It can get annoying easily alone with the ones that don't shut up about it or like you said overanalyze it. Edit: Damnit, I meant to quote A smoove criminal.
