What did you think about the musical aspect of the S3 finale?

So... while i think the songs per se were good, it was just too much for my taste. It really got on my nerves after the second song. I want to watch mlp and not a Disney movie. And i want them to talk and not only to sing. So i have to say i didnt like it.

 

I always enjoy songs on both MLP FIM and LPS especially if there's more than one song in a episode there's your answer.

I guess the songs were enjoyable for the most part really.

 

I liked it. The cutie mark song was probably my favourite, it has been stuck in my head since I first heard it!

Although, none of the big name brony musicians have released anything so far...and all the ones out so far are remixes, nothing really original.

I've said it once i'll say it again A True, True Friend is the best song in the entire Season 3 finale.

 

Hmm, I seem to be the only one who didn't really like A True, True Friend.

 

All the songs combined are 10 minutes and 14 seconds? Heh, almost half of the episode's airtime.

Liked it? Liked it is a huge understatement. I loved the songs in the Season 3 finale, they were awesome! Because of that S3 E13 is one of my favorite MLP:FiM episodes.

 

Well I liked the music and songs just fine. It did seem a little cheesy at first but then I realized it's meant to be that way. Maybe not meant to be cheesy but super dramatic. No new favorites for me though. I will stick with "This Day", "Winter Wrap Up", and "The Pony Everypony Should Know".

 

I loved the songs a lot. They seem to get stuck in my head sometimes now, lolol

I just wish it wasn't the sad 'what my cutie mark is telling me' song that was stuck all the time xP

I once made a re-mix of morning in ponyvile shimmers. I called it "Mornings on KH13 Shimmer!" and would sing it down the road walking my dog XDDDD :Trollestia:

 

I instantly loved What My Cutie Mark is Telling Me, Morning in Ponyville and Celestia's Ballad. Celestia's Ballad seems like it would be perfect for a photo montage at a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. It made me cry!
It did take a while for A True True Friend and I've Got to Find a Way to grow on me, but I love 'em now!

 

I thought it was interesting, I certainly enjoyed the S3 Finale. I even fan squealed when Celestia sang, I get into the episodes way too much, including talking to the characters and be all like "No NOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't go into the Everfree it's dangerous!!"

 

XD, that's what makes it fun!

I thought it was an interesting change, but it didn't add or subtract from the episode for me. So I ended up going with indifferent. I really like that Celestia was given a singing role though. Now I'm just waiting for that Rainbow Dash solo song.
