"Not much." Dark replied, tossing the camera aside, "It should a huge crowd, those whose bodies we tred on now, standing before what I would guess is the rulers of Equestria, all four of them to be exact, and me and a white unicorn. It showed what happened right before the disaster, how the rulers were evacuated by the white one and that whatever killed everypony came from the sky."
Dark gave a questioning look at Orange, "You do realize they could be absolutely anywhere in Equestria, or even beyond?"
"How would you suppose we do that, the cowards are probably hiding in a bunker somewhere," says Rashall venom in his words.
"I'm aware of that. Wait... if it came from the sky could it possibly be in Cloudsdale? We're bound to get some answers there.
Dark turned to Rashall, "They aren't cowards, it's common sense, Equestria has no chance at all if the leaders died. And Orange, just because it came from te sky doesn't mean it comes from Cloudsdale. Look up, do you see it? No."
"Still cowards if you ask me, not to mention I'm not going anywhere other than ground level till my wing heals," says Rashall suddenly remembering why he had come to Equestria and who he was and all it took was his anger rising to show him this. He decided to wait however and see if it was true when he closed his eyes for sleep.
Dark looked confused at Rashall, who had suddenly decided this was the perfect place to take a nap. She sighed, "Anypony want to carry him?"
Surveying the area, he came to the conclusion. "Guys, exactly where going are we? There is no plan besides 'look for life' I'm guessing... " Tim remarked. Looking to the slumbering pony in disbelief... "Wake up, please. How can you sleep in the midst of all this?"
Dark just shrugged at what Tim said, "Well, it's better than staying put, the more we can find out about what happened the better, and you know what, I'll carry him." Dark tool out her gun, holding it in one wing, then bent down and got Rashall to balance on her back, he was surprisingly light to her, "Well let's get going."
"I still think that we're running in circles, but hey. Might as well try to remember what happened." Tim said before stopping and staring at a ruined building. The sign underneath the rubble said "Sugarcube Corner" Tim felt a tug on his heart, as memories began to slowly come to him as he doubled over. The scene was a party inside Sugarcube Corner, streamers lined everything. A group of ponies, who where out of sight, could be heard. "Come on Girls lets party! It's not everyday he have visitors this special!" He remembered hearing a pony say. "I can't believe that we've had her around all along and never knew it!" Another voice came, this one more rough with slight cracks in the voice when certain words were said. "Well it sure is a might spris'in. But remember girls, she ain't tha only one we're celebratin for." Came one with a calm southern accent. Another flashback arose. This time he was watching two ponies hidden by darkness. The sky slightly darkened in this one, buildings were crumbling. Tim finally could discern what he was seeing in the sky, the sun, Heck! All light was being blocked out by a thick layer of smoke as fires singed the nearby buildings. "Come on girls! We need the Elements of Harmony! Big Mac, We need you to distract them." Came a voice that was demanding and serious. "Y'all ain't using ma'h brother as a movin meat puppet!" Came a familiar voice. "We need to Applejack! Without it we stand no chance... I'm sorry." "Lil sister, A'h can take care of ma'hself." A deep voice came from the now named Big Mac. "Be a might careful, Remember, meet us at the train station k'ay?" "Eeyup!" Tim saw Big Mac run off and out of the shadows to reveal a red well build pony with an orange mane. Just as he shifted to look at the others, Tim saw the world around him begin to fade, a blinding light stood at the end of a dark tunnel before snapping back to reality. Tim sat there dumbfounded, staring at the ruins of the old bakery. "Guys, we need to check that place out." Tim said pointing his hoof to the slightly fallen ruins of Sugarcube Corner. (Sorry if Color coding is obstructive...)
"No we don't, you on the other hoof do," says Rashall snapping his eyes open, "The past may swirl around you, but it is only you who remembers this place and thus it is only you who should enter."
"Let him be alone with his thoughts for a minute, after that I would consider finding shelter for all of us a place that would act like a home base," says Rashall.
(Inb4 Text Wall!!!) Tim grimaced at Rashall, "Says sleeping beauty!" he said loud enough for all to hear. Tim sat down, settling down on his haunches he slowly hoofed at the soil. letting the dirt fly up into the air. "If i'm doing this alone then so be it..." he said feeling a little hurt. "Hmm... Why do I have memories of this place, i've never been here before..." Tim said with certainty. Remembering the one stallion from his flashback he scanned all that he knew for that name "Big Mac... Big... Mac... Big-" He stopped as his eyes grew wider, "Macintosh..." He finished. A tinge of pain came a cross his face. Who was he, Why did I know his full name, Where did I meet that pony before? All these thoughts crossed his mind. "Never gonna figure out anything out here..."He finished before venturing into the unstable building. Inside was a marvel to see, the building looked almost exactly as he saw in the flashback. And it certainly looked better on the inside then the out, beside the severe lack of light... Almost everything still intact except the chunks of ceiling on the slightly shattered wooden floor. The peppermint support beams swirling up to the ceiling, All matters of candy lining the walls slightly dusty and paint chipped betraying the wood underneath, "Don't wanna eat those sweets." Tim joked. Stale and moldy cupcakes lie on the floor where the tables had flipped. Displays with broken out glass with sweets still intact. It was obvious this place was not safe from the mayhem. Climbing the stairs he arrived into a large room with the ceiling collapsed onto the floor. It was almost impossible to maneuver the room without stepping on rubble. A bed crushed by a piece of debris... Returning back down Tim just sat in the middle of the service room. Letting the pain in his wings settle, Tim dropped the guise and looked for a bathroom or something to bandage up the broken and pained wing. "Why did my memories point me here with no knowledge of what to look for?", finally he found a pink, candy decorated dress to which he tore up and bandaged himself up before lying on the floor and resting.
Silver followed Tim into Sugar Cube Corner (considering nopony should venture anywhere alone) and examined the decor of the building. When it was used, it must have been a spectacle to see! The very supports seemed to be made of sugar. Now THAT was dedication! She glanced at Tim who seemed to be taking a nap in the corner. 'Hypocrite' she thought with a hint of amusement. Since she was in here, she decided she would explore the building. A second room branched off from main, and it seemed to be the only way she could go from the entrance. The second room was filled with various tools and baking utensils. 'This must have been a bakery.' she concluded. Getting a closer look, she was able to pick up a roller before one of the planks below her splintered with a loud "CRACK!" Silver stepped off it with a small yelp and stared at the spot for a minute before getting her bearings back. The area was not triggering any memories, and she didn't want to risk breaking something and causing the already damaged building to collapse on her, so she stepped back out into the main room where Tim was sleeping. Having nothing else to do, she began fiddling with the roller, even to the extent of attempting to balance it on her muzzle (which was getting nowhere).
Dark was looking around on the outside when she noticed a very familiar house, hopeful that it would help, she flew over to it, flying around it, when she noticed something that sparked her interest. She landed in the backyard of the house, where a lavaish garden once stood, now, only a field of white. But it wasn't snow, it was flowers! Life! She hadn't seen a living plant until now, and these where flourishing! She looked around and saw a slightly blackened sign that read White Hope flower, the best flower in Equestria. Dark then noticed a peice of paper attached to the sign that looked like it was put there recently, she opened it and read it, Dear Dark, I know you probably won't remember me as I can only guess the stress of witnessing what happened would have shut down any memory of what happened before it, but trust me, I am a friend. The flowers you now stand on, the White Hope, will help ease the unlocking process and speed it up. I want you and any survivors to go Freedom Rock, which you should remember after eating the flower, there we can Awnser any of your questions. Signed, Snow Rena Mark.
