Not that I in any way support this theory, but... Anyways, all the reasons Rainbow Dash is awesome have already been said. So I guess there isn't much to say here now. Well, except for the fact that she usually has the best parts in the songs. That wasn't mentioned.
Another Rainbow Dash fan here. I instantly liked her when I first saw her in Episode 1. It was refreshing to see a tomboyish character that isn't overdone, or used to provide comedy. I really like how outgoing she is, and that she isn't afraid to just speak her mind. I can relate to her competitiveness, as I have that problem as well. I also really enjoy that she represents loyalty. That drew me in, because that is one of my primary positive qualities. Spoiler: Spoiler alert for those who haven't seen Episode 23 yet: I also really liked the idea that as a result of her first ever sonic rainboom, she was able to help those who would become her friends find their special talent and get their cutie mark. That was such a d'awww inducing moment for me.
Lol zephyr dash is my least favorite too. But that doen't mean I don't enjoy her in the show, I just relate to her the least. I have a friend who is better then me at so many things and he would constantly rub my face in it. Then whenever I did something note worthy he wouldn't remember it, or wouldn't care. So Rainbow Dash reminds me of this cocky attitude that annoyed me. I guess that's why. I don't like show offs
Yeah she does have that show off style. We all know she's just needs to be loved "how can you not love that face"
I think shes just awesome, in general but what make her that way, is that is probably because of her boyish-ways and we can relate to her a lot, with her athletic abilities and Attitude. Tho a tomboy, Shes still awesome.
Wait... You're married? Nevermind. Rainbow Dash, Rainbow Dash... I think the main reason people like her is because of the unique name and Mane.

The convo went: Her - "It has F'in my little pony on it, thats for girls" Me - "It's a guys t-shirt" her - "it has MLP on it" Me - "And? - do you know what Brony means" her - "no, thats besides the point" after that I couldn't stop laughing as she was saying it in a laughing type voice, either that was with me or at me - which ever :derpe:
I don't know about y'all but MLP is my religeon and Luna is my God But seriously, I'm not a particularly religeous person myself but, I've noticed the churches are really pushing the "Apocolpyse" thing a LOT heavier than usual in my area. I honestly think thanks to the internet, particularly YouTube, that some Christians are in a panic the world is gonna end.

Dashie stood out most to me when I was first getting into the show, because of how awesome she looks and her personality is so bright and out there~ she was my favourite for awhile before I discovered my hidden Pinkiesm, though I still find her super awesome! I've come to appreciate her personality and and even her flaws more from when I first became a brony, even though she seem a little stubborn at times, I find that adorable xD she's always trying to do your best and accomplish her dreams why maintaining loyalty and love for her friends, definitely one for me to love~ She does seem seem self-centred or mean at times, it's understandable (at least for me), but I think it's important to realise that everypony is different and not everyone can pick up and connect with feelings so easily~
Okay Rainbow Dash got her mane and tail color because of the emotional spectrum. That's my theory and I refuse to believe anything else.
