Because Pinkie Pie is crazy, but not stupid. There's a difference between crazy and stupid. Derpy is Inspector Gadget or Inspector Clouseau, while Pinkie Pie is Freakazoid or the Mask.
I'm going to pretend that I see your point for now.Anyway I was reading the thread "who's your fav Dazzling" and saw an interesting post.It was something like this:"Adagio Dazzle is the only one worth remembering. The other two are just henchwomen with no personality." Can you guess who wrote that?After I read that I remembered that background ponies have no personality.And here you are saying that background ponies should get a episode and that you dislike two characters because of their lack of personality. Also there have been times in the show,where Pinkie was just stupid.
There are flat supporting characters that the fandom GIVES a personality, and there's ones that don't. There's a difference between Boba Fett and Salacious Crumb. There's a difference between Theodore Groves and Scarlett. There's a difference between Snowflame and Harvest (or if you are not into the New 52, Vibe). And there's a difference between Derpy Hooves and the two Dazzlings. Derpy Hooves was given an entire personality by the fans, with quirks and even a tone of voice. Have fans done the same for either of those Dazzling henchwomen? If you just stick the same six characters for the entire run of a show that runs as long as this one, it gets boring and stale after a while.
First of all,my name is Heimdall and not wiseass. Second,I don't know if the beach is a bad episode.I have never seen Avatar and I will never see it. I hate Avatar and think that the main characters are boring to watch.I don't care if the focus is on some other characters because the main characters are boring. ,however in mlp we have the mane six,I like them and they're the reason I watch the show. And of course the show get boring sometimes,but then the writes find a way to make it fun again.
