I would say Fluttershy or Rarity. Fluttershy to relax and drink hot coco with and Rarity to have her make something to keep me warm.
I would spend my time with AppleJack to talk about everything and with Twilight Sparkle to do magic with
Pinkie pie so we could party all day and have lots of fun and I feel like with all that partying pinkie pie gets super tired at night so she would sleep with out too much talking so she's my choice
Nightmare Moon - I enjoy the winter (snowy) nights much more than any seasonal setting. Princess Luna - I would be intrigued and interested in her background, especially in relation to tradition or holidays of yore. Princess Celestia - This one is really hard to describe for some reason. Twilight Sparkle - No explanation necessary.
This is a really interesting question. I wouldn't just like to say Rarity and Celestia, as stating my favourite character would be a bit of an easy option. I think taking into consideration what a good Christmas would be, the characters that best reflect that would be the best option. I enjoy the wintery, snowy feel to Christmas. Parties and presents don't do anything for me. Rather coincidentally, someone has actually pretty much posted my mind here. Although I think Celestia would be a good choice in a similar way to Luna. Stories, especially ones of legend and lore, are far more intriguing in a winter setting, I find. Celestia has the deepest story based personality there is, so she would be an interesting character over the festive period. Twilight has always cut me as a wintery character. I'm not really sure why. On a side note, I find a Christmas with Zecora would be equally interesting, and as previously stated, an Apple family Christma day would be rather quaint and enjoyable, although not to the extent of the previous choices.
Applejack...Hands down, man. It's Christmas Eve and Together with the Family and friends and me and Applejack singing all the songs of Christmas till strike of 12 till we head for bed. Having Applejack in my bed together as we fall asleep till dawn arrives for christmas morning. That would the best thing to happen in my life.
Conventional answer would normally be Twilight since she's first on my list of favorite ponies(She is a really well designed characters, particularly for the times we're in), but for this one I'm gonna have to say Applejack. I imagine Chrismas(Heart's Warming Eve, whatever) with the Apples would be both really fun and wonderfully evocative of the season-I imagine they'd get the holiday just right.
Celestia could more readily speak of changes, where Luna knows nothing of them. It would be quite interesting to speak with someone who has endured and presided over so much change, as well as one who has missed it. I think it boils down to what we think she would be like--knowledge and personality-wise. Zecora probably doesn't celebrate Christmas, but her holiday would be quite exotic as well, I'm sure.
Why, Twi and Trixie, of course. Forced to spend Christmas together... who knows what might play out? Not that I'm in favor of shipping. It would be a lot more interesting, in my mind, for each to find a colt of their own to pursue, which would then allow for all kinds of complex interpersonal attacks.
