What do they call them again? Huh, lemme see what Wikipedia says . . . Oh, yes, they were confusing because they listed Subdivisions, Regions, Counties and Districts. Which do regular people go by? I'm guessing - counties? Would that be the rough equivalent of American states? And I've noticed a lot of people aren't happy with where they're at. Must be wanderlust kicking in.
Well, I was BORN in Alaska... but I live in Texas at the moment. In two years I'm going to Miami again for College. EDIT: Wait, What? Nobody lives in Texas? Put 4 (+1) For me, because I've got 3 Bronies at work with me, and one is my childhood friend from Alaska. (Long Story) So, what, do we put down 3 for Texas 2 for Alaska? I'm confuzzled here.:derpe:
I'm another Florida brony, born and raised. I've lived in quite a few places and always ended up coming back to South Florida. I am far enough south that it is not "The South" here. When I lived in Tallahassee (North Florida) it was very, very different than it is down here. And I like the weather here, I like visiting snow but never want to live with it again. Hurricanes are better than being in tornado country too, at least ours you know are coming and you have time to prepare for them.
I was thinking of the state your in now. Otherwise, I'd say California for myself, because, even if I'm not living there now, it's where my heart will always be.
In that case, put me down for Texas... It's so freaking hot here... I can't take it. Being in Alaska for 6 years really doesn't help, and I'm still not even used to this heat...
I'd like to clear up that Canada isn't cold everywhere all the time. In fact, on the southwest coast it can get pretty hot in the summer. Alberta, Winnipeg, the Yukon Territories and the Northwest Territories are the cold places. Alberta and Winnipeg typically have really cold winters and the Yukon Territories and the Northwest Territories are really cold pretty much all the time, being right next to the North Pole.
I know, Tommy. I've been to Canada - Victoria - and it was lovely and hot! I really want to go back there some day. I heard one Canadian comedian say that it's not always cold up there, but after a winter day in Saskatchewan, it feels like its frozen all the time. I did meet a Canadian once that looked at an orange tree, and asked me, "What's that?" I told her it was an orange tree, and her eyes got wide, and she said, "Oranges grow on trees?" It was all I could do not to laugh at her.
