My favorite music, though, is probably Classical Orchestral Music (eg Bach, Beethoven), or Choral Music (Like the link below). http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=4R2TidP-UwU&desktop_uri=/watch?v=4R2TidP-UwU
My favorite kinds of music include screamo, death metal, DubStep (especially songs with really heavy bass drops and wubs ///w^\), punk rock, and (for lack of a better word) acoustic music (like Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day or My Immortal by Evanescence.)
All except rap, pop and country. Absolute favorite being Death Metal, Deathcore, Black Metal, Metalcore and Chill Electronic.
Let's see, probably metal, punk and by punk I mean things like the Misfits, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, you know old punk not pseudo Greenday punk. Classical (I am very partial to Bach, and Vivaldi), rock, jazz, blues, hardstyle, grindcore, acapella, swing, ambient. I will just go so far as to say, pretty much anything aside from pop, dubstep, rap, grunge, and anything made by Nickelback.
Metal. (Because that was such a surprise) Preferably the extreme stuff. Black (more specificially suicidal, depressive or Norwegian), Folk, Death, Doom, Melodic etc. !T.O.O.H.!, 1349, Xasthur, Bathory, Mayhem, Devin Townsend, Finntroll, Burzum, Venom, Darkthrone, Bloodbath, Shining, Emperor, Judas Iscariot, Gorgoroth, Immortal, Eluveitie, Limbonic Art, Dimmu Borgir, Meshuggah, Opeth, Reverend Bizarre, Belphegor, Strapping Young Lad, Carpathian Forest, Whitechapel, Amon Amarth, System of a Down, Serj Tankien, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Behemoth. to name a few. I also like some electronic or hardcore techno such as Slagmalsklubben and Angerfist.
Well what I listen to is the listing right below here. Rock, Classical, Techno, Dubstep, Orchestra (Movie Soundtracks), Country, Jazz, New Age, Peaceful Music and Etc. Stuff I don't like or enjoy are listed below here. Metal ( of any kind) and Rap.
I like a little of everything, but I mostly listen to movie soundtracks and I have A LOT of them, everything from Star Wars, An American Tail and Ghostbusters to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Friday and The Muppet Movie. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for. Other than that, I mainly listen to rock music (KISS, The Beatles, The Offspring, Alice Cooper, Jefferson Airplane, etc).
OMG another Classical nerd! Actually that's pretty much my list of likes. I don't mind Metal, as long as it's not Death Metal and it isn't full of swearing. But most of the time, Classical. Like when I'm working.
My taste in music is quite sad. Don't believe me? I own every Selena Gomez CD out there. Yep But I enjoy Dubstep and Punk-ish Rock plus the mainstream crap out today isn't tttthhhhhhhaaaaaaat bad. I'm known for liking the old girl bands, like Spice Girls, or TLC, or Destiny's Child. You have to admit, that stuff was catchy.
I'm mostly into techno, electronic, industrial, and dubstep more recently. I do enjoy a good rap, and country song every now and then though. There is also a small place in my heart for symphonic metal, thanks to Nightwish.
I listen to Industrial, Rarit E. So yeah, industrial is one of my favorite genres. I also enjoy aggrotech, neoclassical IDM, pretty much all kinds of metal and rock, folk, indie, EBM, classical, and some older country and rap. So yeah, I enjoy a smattering of just about everything. I won't list out bands, because I'd keep you here for a long time.
Here's an odd one: electro swing. but I also like alt rock, indie, house, normal swing, dnb and about everything else except *shutters*... screamo - - Auto Merge - - This is cool! What is it like electro-swing? Good to see I'm not alone. (^_^)
I like music at both extremes: I'm into Techno, House, Dubstep, Electropop, etc. At the same time, I am crazy over classical and modern orchestra. When the both genres mix, THAT's when I eargasm.
Various styles of EDM/EBM. Melodic instruments, usually favoring metalcore styles (clean vocals preferred), or guitar virtuosos (Buckethead, Steve Vai). I like things as hard as Raunchy or In Flames or as tame as All That Remains and Disturbed. I love rock, particularly hard rock. Nickelback, Godsmack, KoRn, Papa Roach, and so many more. I love liquid dubstep, and to a lesser extent, liquid DnB. I follow the LiquidMusick channel, one of 3 popular ones for checking out underground liquid artists. I should stop there. Genres start becoming convoluted, but music is quite diverse these days in the Electronic styles.
I can't say I have one favorite type of music, But I'm definitely partial to heavy metal, death metal and electronic dance music. But I will listen to anything, except country. Just can't do it, haha!
