Eh, I'd say early this year sometime...not quite sure because when I started getting interested in MLP, thought it was just a stage lol. Gotta love how it takes time to come to terms with "Ok...I'm a brony, but that's not a bad thing!".
I think August/September 2011. All I remember is being on the forum at least a couple weeks (maybe a month) before S2 came out. I remember all the same threads like "season 3 wants" and "what do you want to see in S3?" But for S2.
Monday 21st November 2011 It was the week of our mock exams. Everyone else was revising. I decided to give My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic a go. My friends had been reccomending it to me for a few weeks now. By the end of that night, I'd watched 11 episodes. I got to episode 18 by the end of the next day. The day after that, I had finished season 1. On Thursday, I was up-to-date on all the episodes. On Friday, I joined Everypony. On Saturday, I watched the new episode. And that was my first week of being a brony. It's kind of like the hungry caterpillar story.
I first watched the show on June 4th of this year, yet it wasn't until less than a week later when I officially became a brony.
I became a brony in about August of 2011. At first I didn't care for the fandom. Then I watched a couple of youtube videos. Then some more, and some more. Then there were pics and games and music. And before I knew it, I was deep down in the rabbit hole.
First part of December 2011 because Suited for Success was the newest episode and the first one I watched. I saw and heard lots about it on the internet. I thought it was really good, but I just like every other T.V. show for me it was just another T.V. show I'd watch occasionally. About a week later I kept seeing more and more about it so I watched another episode, Bridle Gossip I think, and now here I am.

I became a Brony through Team Fortress 2 of all places. (I'm an avid TF2 player) In July of 2011 I got matched to a random server called "Legion of Ponies." My initial reaction was: "Oh, God." But I actually liked the artwork on the server's page and the players on the server were really nice and helpful. They didn't berate people when they made mistakes and worked as a team. I loved it. After about a month of research, I watched my first episode, "The Ticket Master" and kind of liked it. I didn't actually know what a Brony was until a month later, when I discovered just how expansive the fandom was. I loved the show but was in denial about it for quite some time. It wasn't until right before Season 2 aired that I began to truly consider myself a "Brony." I apologize for the long-winded reply. Good day.
