Rarity: I've always had a thing for fashion design and fancy things so I started liking her from the beginning. Plus she's a drama queen which I can be sometimes but not very often. Celestia: Pretty mane...What? Oh and fondness of jokes. She has a unique personality. Scootaloo: She's adorable. Just....It's that face the fillies make with the big eyes and the smiles that win me over.
Twilight Sparkle: My favorite pony really used to be Rainbow Dash. But , right now even though Rainbow Dash is still my second favorite I really love Twilight Sparkle now. I don't know really what it was that made me love Twilight Sparkle. But, I just love her so much. My top five favorites would be like this 1. Twilight Sparkle 2. Rainbow Dash 3. Scootaloo 4. Rarity 5. Applejack
I always have a hard time choosing, but Fluttershy is my oldest favorite. I liked her from the first episode and only grew to love her more as the series went on. I guess, if I tried to list them, my favorites would look something like this: 1. Fluttershy 2. Princess Luna 3. Queen Chrysalis 4. Twilight Sparkle 5. Applejack
Rainbow Dash.... When? Uh... Probably started in Griffon Brush Off, then escalated in Fall Weather Friends and Sonic Rainboom.
Applejack: I loved her from the beginning. The way she greeted Twilight and Spike with her big family reminded me of my family when we get new neighbors. I just love her hospitality, and I'm a sucker for the truth. And she doesn't get nearly enough love through art/fanfics.

Well I don't know if this counts but Spike was my favorite character in the show (but he's a dragon, not a pony), due to the fact his little quarks reminded me of a younger me in a way. After I heard Derpy say her epic line "I just don't know what went wrong." along with her jumping on a thunder cloud and pulling Rainbow Dash down the hole Derpy ended up making, Derpy became my favorite pony because Derpy just makes me smile more than any other pony.
Rainbow Dash. Even before I watched the show, when I was hearing about it from friends and seeing it all over the Internet, she was always my favorite. She's so adventurous, mischievous, funny, loyal (duh), determined. She has spirit, energy. She's loud, in your face, finds humor at the expense of others. She's kinda like a role model for me. I wish I was more outspoken and proud like her. I really love her in "May the Best Pet Win!" (especially during the song). Simply the best pony.
^^ Same for me, I knew a guy on another forum who always had a Rainbow Dash avvie of some kind so I looked into it and found out more about the characters and stuff.
