Whenever I See a Brony Hater, I See this...

Gay is such a watered down insult anymore. It's on par with being insulted by a 3 year old now. If gay is the only thing they can say to insult me, then they are bad at what they do.

 

The internet is becoming a much darker place than it used to be.

 

Last I checked, the Internet has always been a place full of hate, stupidity and drama, it's just that people get so flankhurt over brony's that I suppose it is easy to think that things have gotten worse.

As for what I see when I run into a hater, that depends. If it's simply someone who doesn't like the show but has nothing against anyone who likes it, I just see someone expressing their opinon.

If it's someone who says "Ponies are the cancer of the internet", or "Brony's are creepy, I hope they all die", I see a flankhurt moron who's entire mentality is "Stop liking what I don't like!" and also someone who's a bigger manchild then the ones that they claim brony's to be. I also see someone who's too stupid to simply ignore all the pony stuff they see and simply just focus on stuff that they actually like.

 

I noticed a significant change before the brony community even existed. I'm thinking the problem is that these days more children are getting computers and just flooding the online community with their stupidity and ignorance, not to mention a serious lack of grammatical knowledge. My family didn't own a computer until I was 13 and I didn't own my own until I was 19.

 

I didn't have a cell phone until I was 17.

 

I still don't have a cellphone...and i feel so young now. I'm gonna go and pin half of the reason behind the hate on the media. There seems to be a lot of stuff that encourages the "Stereotypically Manly gangster man is manly." As opposed to the Jhonny Bravo approach of, "Stereotypical Manly man is going to get punched in the face if he keeps that up." (I actually have no idea on that, I've just seen a couple clips from the show and that's the gist from it. I really need to get around to watching it sometime cause it looks rather funny.)

With a lot of the songs on the radio being about either violence or sex, and almost all of them having some indication of "I am the only one that matters and am the only opinion that counts." (eg. Sexy and i know it. Seriously, it's basically a guy saying that they are great and are aware of how great they are.) And it's only seemed to be becoming more and more acceptable nowadays to insult deviants.

You'd think that after all of the movements for womens and racial rights that we would be progressing here, and technically we are, but theres still so many people that find ways to insult those who are different, generally joking about at their expense because "Hey, if it makes some people laugh, it's not racist/sexist/being a jerk."

Bronies, generally being men who like a show about being kind to others and helping your friends. Are about the most deviant you can get, and the fact that it's about My Little Pony gives them a bunch more deviants to file us in with (Furries, Beastiality, and apparently pedophiles and gays). Expain the reasoning behind this GenericHomophobicFratboy69.

You mean me? No, I'm 22. Will be 23 on September 10th. I've never owned a cell phone before.

 

I've had a phone since year 7.
My first one was my mum's old flip one, made calls for like £2 a minute x3
My second one was an LG Cookie, gotten because it was on sale, it worked pretty and was only £10.
Then I got an oldschool nokia, had it for ages. Cost less than £10.

My current one is free and REALLY glitchy.
I take the bus home for an hour, so I actually need it for personal safety.
And I spend loads of time at home alone.

 

Hang on a second...when the heck did this become a thread about phones?
