Faux laid in the tree as she watched Rain enter the house, she mumbled under breath and sat up on the branch. Kenji was at the truck of the tree fast asleep in the tall grass and Faux watched her carefully. She gave a sigh and moved the the bottom branch so she could get a clearer view of the house.
"Sorry, i might have gone to flight camp with you if that helps any." Rain shrugged and moved to the kitchen table and took a seat.
Dusty laid the eggs out on plates, carrying them over to the table. "So ah'll go get Ms. Faux, she needs to be here when we talk about thw trip." Dusty walked over to the door and called out. "Ms.Faux! Your needed in the hall!"
Faux lazily rolled off the tree and landed with a light thud that woke up Kenji, "Come on girl, we're needed." Kenji barked and hopped up onto Faux's back as she walked inside. "Whats up?" she stood in the room far from Rain not daring to look at her.
"Well as soon as were done here, we need to head to town and get our supplies then were off to the west gate of town." Dusty sat at the table speaking to the group. "Our trip starts soon ya'll, so prep up after breakfest."
"Already ahead of ya!" Faux left the room then came back with her saddle bag full of what all she needs. "Umm.. i guess i don't need the book.." she pulled out the thick leather book and set it gently on the table. "... Maybe i will." she grabbed the book again and placed it back in her back next to her notebook.
"Im ready too but i think ill just walk ya there. To much dirt for my taste.." she pulled the strap tighter on her bag indicating that she was ready.
"Honestly that might come in handy, we may need to know all we can about the wolves out there." Dusty looked past them nervously. "Better safe then sorry ah say."
"Well ive read it already but yes you are correct." Faux smiled "Im leaving Kenji here too by the way." she added
Dusty nodded, finishing off his eggs. "Alright ah understand, theres a pen we have out back for dogs. Its a big one too if you wish to keep her there." Dusty motioned toward Kenji.
Kenji barked, "Oh you'll be fine Kenji.." Faux murmured. "That'll work." Faux latched the clasp on her bag tightly and made sure she had everything in the other one.
Rain stood nervously by the door waiting patiently. She was beyond scared to continue on and she didn't want to continue on if there was animals and dirt..
Faux nodded and headed outside to set up for Kenji who slowly followed behind. Faux found the areas easily and she knew Kenji would love it, she opened the gate and allowed the slow pace Kenji in. "Its ok Kenji, i promise ill be back." Faux set all Kenji needed and tossed a few squeaky toys as well. "Alright, ill be back later Kenji" Faux left the area and entered the house again. "Alright im set."
Dusty looked over seeing Rain shaking slightly. "Ms. Rain are you ok?" Dusty stepped forward. "Ah don't want to scare you or nothing, its just a trip outside of city limits."
