"Okay!" Faux landed by Dusty and trotted to catch up, she pulled out her notebook and kept in under her wing just in case. "Ok I'm set!"
Dusty looked up and saw a hill. He dash for it, running up to the top looking over. "Hey everypony, you got to see this!" Dusty called to the others. He was staring out into the wild, the shinning sun illuminating its vast glory in a golden gleam. "Its breath-taking!"
"Oh I'm sorry, you didn't have to fly to get me" Faux lowered her head, "I shouldnt have flown that high up anyways"
Dusty looked to Dark then back to the view, pointing forward. "Theres a river just over there, ah'll lead us there then we can break ok Dark? Gotta make some ground wieght today."
Faux lifted her head again and looked over the valley. "It really is breathtaking." She spoke quitly to herself.
Faux took a mental shot if the valley and followed behind. She scanned the trees around them looking for any signs of the pack but found nothing.
Dusty smiled and nodded, then without warning he jumped over the ledge. He fell, hitting the side of the hill at the right angle that he started sliding down. "LETS GOOOOO!" Dusty yelled as he slide. "Weeeee!"
Calla's ears twitched back as she heard voices from behind. Aurora heard them to and was already on high alert. Calla took off, staying low to the ground and crawled through the thick bushes towards her pack. She told them to hide in the den and to not come out, Calla then left again and followed the voices as they moved.
Dark had a good laugh then flew down, landing much better this time,"Dusty, you think that might have been dangerous, right?"
Faux jumped now sliding on her hooves, she began to laugh again till she reached the bottom and fell over in the tall grass laughing some more. "Oh that was fun!"
Calla followed close behind still concealed by the thick bushes. She hadn't found the source of the voices yet but she could tell she was close.
Dusty picked up his hat, dusting it off before putting it back on his head. "Ah reckon it might've been, but it was a-worth it ah can tell you that much." Dusty's smile couldn't be contained as he chuckled from the joy. "You ok Ms. Faux?"
Dark pulls out his crossbow,"Might want to have your weapon out, dusty, never know what could be out here.", then Dark reloads the crossbow.
"Couldnt be better." She stood up and shook off the loose grass. "But I can't help be feel like we're being followed.
