"No problem!" She smiled and trotted ahead a bit but slowed back down to a walk. "This scorpion might not be easy to find like I thought." She looked over the rolling hills and saw nothing but sand and a few rocks.
Calla shook her coat of the sand and trotted passed Faux. She left her pack to guard the area so she was alone. The hot sand scorched her paws but she shook it off and continued till she was by Dusty.
Calla growled at a snake as it crossed her path, it hissed and continued on. Calla licked her chops then yawned. She sniffed the sand as she walked in front of everyone, searching for signs of the scorpion.
Dusty scanned the area ahead of him, the heat beating down on his body. His duster protected him from most of the heat, but now it stuck to him by the sweat of his skin. "Ah sure hope we find this scorpion fast, this heat is nice and all, but even ah think it's alittle TOO much!" Dusty chuckled roughly. (Sorry everyone!!!!..........had to go to a funeral in Florida last week for my G-pa.....was rough, but i'm back again, =] )
Faux peeked over her glasses again, "This heat is unbearable." She took another drink from her canteen and handed a full bottle from Dark to Dusty. (Calla wont be able to join anymore btw)
Dusty nodded and took the bottle, chugging from it roughly. "Ah know what you mean Ms. Faux. Ah'm sorry Ms. Calla had to go back, but it was probably for the best." Dusty shook his mane as he poured some water on his head. (what happened? =( )
"I would hate to have her fur coat." Faux leaped over a small cactus and used her wings to block the sun from her eyes. "I wonder how far we have to go."
