"God Dangit!" Exclaimed Arrows. "I guess i'm stuck like this til Light meets back up with me." He thought.
"Is anypony there? What happened to sticking...sticking...in a group! Hey!?" Star turned to his left. That voice sounded like Hibiscus. "Sounded like it came down this hallway..." He turned to trot down the-- "Star! Where are you!" This voice came from the right. Gaze. This was perfect, he was finding more and more friends by the second. "See that, intercom?! I've already found two of the other guests! Before long, everypony will be back together! And then?! Then, I'm comin' for you!"
(And that's where the whole thig rearranges itself.) Light suddenly stopped right as he was going, "Arrows! Stay perfectly still! That is a progressive spell, it progresses slower if you STAY STILL, or you might find yourself in an irreversible, permenant coma, got it?" he called through the wall
Gaze looked at the wall right in front in him even though there was a hallway "STAR!" Gaze yelled he slammed the wall again and started to run again trying to find anypony so he can get out of this maze and kill that announcer.
"Now, now, we can't have you doing that. Your little tracking spell could get annoying." Starlight's eyes widened as the whisper sent shivers down his spine. Somepony was right behind-- A quick hoof to the side of his head sent him falling to the ground. He tried to turn his head to view his attacker, but another quick hoof landed on his neck, restraining and choking at the same time. He had his head to the side just enough to have one eye see the owner of the hoof on his throat...and he knew exactly who it was. He just never expected it. "I...I knew it...knew it was you..." He choked out between restrained breaths. The hoof increased pressure on his neck, and he tried to scream for help, but the attacker was much too strong. "Oh, it wouldn't do any good for you to be going blabbering to everypony now," The voice whispered in his ear. His throat could barely stand any more pressure. Still, the hoof pressed harder and harder until it heard the satisfying cracks of bone after bone breaking. He began thrashing, obviously under agonizing pain until...after a few more seconds...it was over. Blood streamed out of the brown colt's mouth as he lay motionless. "Goodnight, sleep tight, my dead Starlight..." The killer smiled and moved out of sight...
Light was trying to find his way to Arrows when he suddenly slipped on something warm and wet, he was sent crashing to the floor, "Oh Celestia…" he muttered when he turned to see the liquid he had slipped on. "Oh no, no no no no!" he looked at the body, it was…Starlight. His horn lit up as he checked for a pulse, breathing, anything! But he had no vitals to speak of, "DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!" he yelled out, "Gotta find Arrows, he's too easy of a target with my spell on him!"
"DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!" Hibiscus's ears perked up again. That's not Star. he thought. Continuing forward, he continued to search for the colt. "Star! Whe...ugh...where are you?"
"What was that about a spell just then?" Shadow turned a corner to face Light, scruitinizing the situation. "You're looking awfully suspicious there, blood on your hooves, Starlight dead before you. If you didn't seem genuinely panicked right now I'd think you were the killer. I trust you, which is more than i can say for some of the others here, but trust works both ways, what was that spell you were talking about?" Shadow walked over to the corpse of Starlight, examining the body, she put one of her hooves into the blood of the dead pony. "Still warm, so that means they were killed recently." She said as she eyed Light cautiously.
"Arrows caught me off guard so I trapped him in a progressive aesthetic spell and I'm tying to find my way back to him to save him from it. And how did you get here so fast? Nevermind, come with me." Light said.
"Theres a number of passages and hidden rooms in this house, they're literally all over the place. All you have to do is look for the white spots on the walls."
Gaze had ran for a couple of minutes again until he heard a loud scream saying "DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!" Gaze started to panic and calmed himself down and started to run towards the noise. Gaze got to the scene to see Light have bloody hooves and Cyan putting her hoof on Star's bloody body he looked at him in horror "I'm doomed going to die in this place," Gaze said and ran away from the two.
"Oh yes I know, I'm just looking for the sunshine." Light said, "Hey, so what's with the whole 'split personality' thing anyways. Oh and you appear to have a fractured hoof bone." seeing Shadow's confused face he added, "When I healed your other half of yourself from all those cuts and bruises, I cast an injury detection spell on you, don't worry, I do it for all my patients, anyways, it makes it to whenever I look at you I get a full diagnosis."
"Thanks...I think." Shadow wiped her hoof along the ground to what blood she could off absent-mindedly. "As to your question, well you're currently talking to me, Shadow right now. Normally Cyanside's the pony that deals with social interactions and everday life and such, I only come out when things get too much for her to handle. I guess you could call me her guardian, though me and her tend to consider ourselves more like sisters. She's been unusually quiet since we got attacked, though the poor mare's scared to death right about now with all that's going on." Shadow turned around to see a pony just slipping out of sight. "Did you see that just then Light? I think we might have found our killer."
"Or it could have just been a pony coming to investigate, and finding us, and decided to book it before we decided to kill him, that's what he might have been thinking. Anyways, I really need to find Arrows before he slips into a permenant coma or worse, here, I'll fix that hood real quick." Light's horn lit up and Shadow's hoof was wrapped in a magic field for a few seconds, "There you go, good as new, now let's go, we'll get to the killer later." - - - Double Post Auto Merge - - - "Hello again players." said the gruff voice over the intercom, "It appears one of your numbers have fallen, so that means one of you is one step closer to going home. If yo-" the intercom suddenly went fuzzy and the voice of the original pony came on, he was talking very lowly, very quietly, and from the sounds of it, very much in pain. "I'm terribly sorry everypony, I didn't know this would happen! Trust me, I'm going to get you out of here, and don't worry, I'm somewhere safe. Just do as I say and you should be able to make it out alive." the original cut off and the gruff voice returned, "anno one more you shall not be able to leave until no pony else is left. Goodbye."
Somepony's...dead? Hibiscus thought with sudden alarm. I was just going after- but they didn't- no way- Hibiscus's blabbering thoughts screeched to a halt as he turned a corner and slammed smack dab into Cyanside. Regaining his wits, he spotted Star's lifeless body bathing in his own blood. Hibiscus's mouth shot open in horror. "MURDERERS!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. "BOTH OF YOU! THEY KI- KILLED HIM! MURDERERS!" Hibiscus turned back the way he came, but he ran headfirst into the corner. Stumbling and disoriented, he galloped around the hall and out of sight. (Hibiscus is no longer under the effects of cider)
"Wait no!" light called, "GAH! We need to get away from this body, and quick!" Light then galloped off, hoping that he would reach Arrows before the end came for him.
Shadow facehoofed, unable to believe how panicky these ponies were, but galloped after light regardless. "Honestly, are we the only ones here who have a solid head screwed on...Okay that was a bad choice of words, but seriously, maybe if everypony here stopped panicing and actually thought this stuff through then maybe they would realise this is all their plan. If we get seperated it makes it easier for the murderer to pick us off, and if everypony thinks that everypony else is the murderer, there's no way that we're going to be able to stay in a group for long. This killer is smart, I'll give them that."
The original housekeeper sat shivering in his safe room, sure he planned to make the hunt as difficult as possible but then that…THING shows up, almost KILLS him and it turns out he had hired Somepony to KILL his guests! Outrageous! As he looked at the cameras, he thought about how he could get them out, even if it cost him his life.
"They'll...kill us all...murderers..." Hibiscus had to stop running and plant himself on a wall. He was panting heavily, long drolips of saliva falling from his mouth. Hibiscus no longer recognized the location of the house he was in. He was totally lost.
