There's no real reason as to why i'm a brony. I just enjoy the show. And the community. And the cupcakes.
This is a good community. I enjoy the people in it and they don't judge me, in person or over the net.
I first saw MLP: FiM on the****fox's video with The Offspring's "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" with Rainbow Dash in it. I was tempted to try and watch it close a year ago, but I didn't. Until this month, I had no idea about what I was missing until last week when I first became addicted to MLP. I'm a Brony because I love MLP, I appreciate and love the fandom, and the lessons in the episodes have helped me. I'm proud to be a Brony!
I still ask myself that question every day. I still don't have a good answer but I've given up trying to rationalize it.
I tend to not associate with fandoms of things I enjoy, but the Brony fandom (Atleast the ones I know) treat others like human beings (or ponies depends) Also I enjoy being apart of a group that is more then just lamenting at the people who don't understand their fascination in a show or let their lives become "only what that is pony" The Brony fandom seems the most level headed of the ones I've come across.
I am a brony probably because of the same reason as many other people. Started watching it out of curiousity (at first I found it silly though), but as I got to Season 2 I got more interested in it and eventually started liking it. After finishing Season 3 I rewatched all those Seasons again and that's pretty much me. (Another note: Also like many others I know I thought of Rarity as least favorite Pony at first but as time passed started to like her more).
The Community because people here seem to have good understanding towards each other, maybe because of the lessons and values the show promotes.
I am a brony because I genuinely like this show. How I got into this show was when I was homeless I had a friend who suddenly changed her name facebook name to "Rainbow Dash" and had this cartoony cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane as her profile picture. I asked her what it was And we ended up watching the season 2 premiere together.
My friend had me watch it and I just loved the way Pinkie was so incredibly random. The show was a lot funnier than I thought it would be! (I used to watch the old ponies when I was younger, so I thought that was all there ever was to it) For a while I was embarassed to admit I liked it, despite my friend wearing it on his sleeve (literally!) Now, I talk to my friends at school about the new episode that had aired the previous Saturday, and how we were anticipating the next one. Long story short, I was introduced to it by my friend and now I absolutely love the show!
After learning about the fandom several months ago, My friend told me that I should watch it, and I avoided it for several months. Then one Friday night, I sat down on my computer and watched the first 3 episodes. I then was intrigued by the characters, the writing, the animation, and pretty much everything else. I am still a brony because I earned countless friends because of it, the fandom never ceases to impress me, and I still love the crap out of the episodes. So yeah, I'm going to be here for a while! 4/19/13-the day my life changed!
i saw someone on youtube that i subscribed to make reviews of some episodes, in the begining i avoided the show but for just 2 weeks ago i sat Down and gave it a chance. and after the 2 first episodes i liked the show, and more i saw the more i loved it. so yea thats how i became a brony :derpe:
Everypony's radio is a big part of it for me. I started watching when Dragonshy came out and I occasionally watched the show afterwards but didn't really get into it. Then over the following summer I found this place, hung out on the radio, and became hooked with the show.
