i see a lot of people say that bronies are just the punching bag of the internet because animals = furries. i know that lots of people say its not the case, but the problem here is that people who know what theyre doing actively spread things that make it seem that bronies are all furry lolicon. which is obviously not the greatest image, since both are pretty illegal outside of drawings
I think the ONLY good Doctors are the Fourth and the Tenth. The Tenth Doctor, to me, is the best modern Doctor of all, and he embodies the essence of everything the Doctor is. And, to me, the Eleventh brings nothing new or interesting to the table. He's more or less a younger version of the Seventh, but with none of the charm or elegance that the Seventh had. Besides, the show as a whole got a lot dumed down after the Eleventh was introduced. And really, to more or less get back on topic: Bronies are the Generation Z version of Trekkies. For my generation, it was the Trekkies who got continually picked on, discriminated and made fun of. Picking on Trekkies was the "in" thing back then, and liking Star Trek was seen as embarassing and a sign that you were a gigantic nerd (much like lking My Little Pony is seem an embarassing right now). You'll notice that most current parody/sketch shows love making fun of My Little Pony, just like the parody/sketch shows of my generation loved making fun of Star Trek. Even the flame wars over stuff like "Twilight becoming an alicorn", "the show after Lauren Faust left" or "Equestria Girls ruined the franchise!", mirror the flame wars of my time: "Kirk versus Picard", "the franchise after Roddenberry left" or "Kirk getting killed in a pathetic fashion in Generations". My point is that in my times, it was Trekkies, this time, it's Bronies, and in the future there'll be another group that becomes the butt of all jokes. It happens.
