She laughed a little, shaking her head. “Probably not. I’m not seeking out cold manners; I'm just looking for adventure.”
He ducked his head for a moment with a small laugh. "Ah. That's a shame. I suppose I can't treat you to lunch and get to know you a bit more, then."
She seemed genuinely surprised, a light blush crossing over the bridge of her nose as well at the points of her ears. She paused before laughing a little, shaking her head slowly. “Do you make a habit of asking girls out before you tell them your name?”
He pauses, suddenly seeming embarrassed as he flushed as well, rubbing the back of his neck self consciously. "I'm sorry. Where are my manners.. My name is Reeve."
She tilted her head, giving him a small, sweet smile. "Hello, Reeve. I would love to, honestly, but I'm afraid I'm not lying. I'm leaving town before nightfall."
His brows furrowed and he gave a small nod, the kind smile still on his face. "Ah.. Well, that sounds like my kind of luck."
He laughed a little, shaking his head slightly. "I won't bore you with my woes, don't worry. It's nothing too bad."
She tilted her head, giving him a soft smile. "I'm sure things will turn around," she replied gently. She straightened up looking around. "How much does everything go for in here?"
He looked around. "It really depends on the item. Most people commission me with a project rather than just buying what I've already made." He placed his hands on his hips. "Why? You need a weapon for your travels?"
"The sword caught my eye, if I'm honest," she admitted, going around to look at the items in the display thoughtfully. "Although everything is beautiful."
All his armors and weaponry looked well-made. There were intricate designs and they looked sturdy. He laughed lightly. "Sadly that sword isn't for sale. It doesn't seem like the type of thing you'd wield anyways."
She considered him for a moment before giving him a small smile. "I don't have time for lunch," she began, tilting her head, "but would you maybe want to get some tea?" She laughed, sounding self-conscious. "I don't know where I'd get some in this place."
He brightened a little bit, tilting his head. He seemed a genuinely excited. "Of course. When are you free? I'd have to close up the shop for a bit.."
She pursed her lips, thinking for a moment. "Would you be able to go now?" she asked. "I don't mean to rush you, I just... I'm leaving before nightfall and I need to gather my things."
He nodded, looking down at himself before flushing. "Would you mind if I take a moment to change? These are my work clothes.."
