Her eyes were closed and her blonde hair was messy from the sleep. She had gotten face to face with him as he shifted, and her brows were furrowed, even in sleep. He would feel her fingers twitching against his neck, responding to some sort of dream. As he watched, she shifted again, her forehead barely resting against his.
He flushed a little, his brows furrowing slightly. He hesitated, pulling his head back as to not wake her.
This movement woke her and her eyes fluttered open, a soft brown in the early morning light. She seemed a little bewildered, looking up at him as she tried to orient herself. “Zer...?”
There was a pause and he would see her eyes flickering to his mouth for just a moment before she sat up, pulling away.
He did the same, putting the fire out before putting the scabbard in his back, the sword able to be drawn if needed.
He followed her, looking at the map with a frown. "Ozepan is next," he said with a small frown, squinting at the map. We'll have to head East. Ozepan is a large aquatic city, so we might have some trouble there."
She looked intrigued, tilting her head as she looked over at him. “It’s aquatic? How will we get there?”
He put the map in his bag again, his head tilted. "Don't worry.. I'm sure there's more to it, maybe."
