Poppy laughed too, tilting her head. "But I'm never wrong," she told him. "So what's the holdup? She's cute and she seems into you."
"Shush," she said playfully, nudging him before she turned back to Zerras. "So... you're not attracted to her, is what you're saying?"
He looked confused. "She's beautiful, but I'm not her type. She says she's not my type." He frowned. "I don't know."
Poppy started laughing, looking up at Francis. "I wasn't Francis' type either. That's what I used to say to him, anyway. He likes me enough, though. You like her, right?"
He looked down at her a little nervously. "..She's a sweet girl. I don't think I'd be good for her, though."
Juniper wasn't stirring much, although her fingers were curled against his abdomen gently. "That's not what I asked," Poppy replied. "If she told you that she wanted to be with you, how would that make you feel?"
"I think she's into you," she replied decisively. "She blushed when you said her name. What do you think, Craw?"
He rolled his eyes. "Phos also said proposing to you so early was a bad idea, but it still turned out fine."
"Our marriage is 'fine' according to my husband, Z," she told him, tilting her head. "We have three children together, and he says that our lives together turned out fine."
He shook his head, but couldn't stop the smile that appeared on his lips. "Sorry. I meant fantastic."
