"It's beautiful," she said excitedly, taking his arm. "Have you ever seen so much water in your life?"
The lake was incredibly large, the other side not in sight. "Nope," he said warmly, "I'm sure we'll get a better look once it's light again."
She was bouncing on her heels, clearly delighted. "This is so amazing. I'm so excited. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Don't you think it's beautiful?"
He nodded looking around at the shops in the distance. "Yeah. We still have a short ways, but we can set up a camp once we're closer."
"I'm going to walk in the water," she decided, not even thinking about the distance. "I'm gonna walk in it."
After a bit longer they made it, the water lapping along the shore. It was rather chilly at night. Zerras rested his hands on his hips. "Should we set up camp?"
She looked down at the water before looking up at him, nodding. "Yeah," she said, beginning to clear a fire pit, kneeling on the ground.
He went to help her, getting some of the things they needed before laying out the blanket and bedroll.
She lit the fire, her eyes closed as the flame lit up in front of her. She turned to look at him, taking the opposite end of the bedroll and pulling it to the other side.
She considered this for a moment before giving him that smile, her dimples exposed. "That's okay. Let's sleep for now. Try to get this bedroll situation figured out."
He tugged on it slightly. It was large enough for two people. He considered this, looking over at her thoughtfully. "What do you think?"
