She nodded, offering the shell. It glimmered in the early morning light, the soft color shifting in his eyes. It wasn't very big, not much bigger than her palm, but it was perfectly formed, small waves etched in the material.
He inspected it, his eyes bright and curious before he looked up at her warmly. "This is beautiful, June. Thank you."
She seemed a little embarrassed, looking it up at him. “It’s not really exciting. I just thought it was pretty.”
She frowned at him before moving over to him, slipping her arms around his waist and giving him a quick hug. “I love being held, and I know you didn’t mean it in a weird way. Don’t worry. It was nice.”
She squinted at him before draping her arms over his shoulders, looking him in the eyes. “I wouldn’t lie.”
They went into the shopping area. It was a bunch of small stands, selling things tourists would generally need for the area.
