Juniper sat up in bed slowly, her hands folded in her lap as she looked out the window nervously. "Okay," she murmured to herself. "Okay."
She had put on her clothing and she already brought him breakfast, but upon realizing he was still asleep, she set the food on the ground next to him and went to feed the animals.
She tipped her head back, looking up at him as she tossed some feed to the chickens. "Hello. Did I wake you?"
Her hair was down today, which was odd; normally when she went to work, she pulled her hair back. She tossed another handful of feed to the chickens, saying nothing for a moment. "So... I had another vision last night," she said quietly.
She nodded slowly, seeming reluctant to talk for a moment. "I need to go with you," she said evenly, meeting his gaze. "That's my condition for telling you about this."
"I'm not telling you until you say that I can come with," she said, sounding like she was trying to keep her courage.
She rubbed her temple, still a little in awe of her badassery. "Uh... there's a civilization in the forest outside of the parameters of the kingdom. Exiled people live there."
