"Yes," she agreed, reaching up and brushing her fingers through his hair gently. "And you saw me too. But I was trying to avoid eye contact because I would start blushing if I looked for too long. Plus, it's rude to stare."
"Yes," she said, clearly pleased that she had gotten her point across. "And, well... like I said. Unexplored territory. I'm intrigued."
She gave him a smile, pressing her forehead against his gently before softly pulling up the hem of his shirt, stopping about halfway across his ribs.
She brushed her hand gently along his side for a moment before leaning down and kissing his skin gently, her lips soft and warm. "I just think you're so beautiful," she told him quietly, pulling away and looking up at him.
There was a soft blush on his face and he was watching her curiously. He pulled her close after a moment and kissed her temple. "You're amazing."
She laughed softly, pulling his shirt back down before settling next to him, her head in the curve of his neck. “I’m no concubine.”
She laughed, but she wasn’t looking at him, her fingers curling in his shirt again. “So, I can’t be that amazing. But I do love you.”
She rolled her eyes a little, but said nothing for a moment before sitting up. “We should probably get moving... will we reach the mountain by today?”
She nodded in understanding, covering the fire with sand. “Okay,” she replied, settling back against him. “What’s the first thing you’re going to do when you get your magic back?”
