She was quiet before she spoke, her words very rushed. "I'm sorry I called you a wiener. You're not a wiener. You're alright."
"Wait, but..." She followed him, glancing back at the stick for a moment. "Do I have to be angry to use that?"
"Being angry is the easiest way to get to it until you learn how to summon the same feeling yourself and direct it into a spell."
He pursed his lips before looking ahead. "Mostly. I do think you're naive, but I wouldn't say it to insult you like that."
She laughed a little, sounding incredulous. "So... you think it's true but you wouldn't say it to my face."
She gave him a small smile before looking down at the stick in her hand, squinting at it as she focused.
Hs went quiet again. By now the trees were huge and dense, towering higher than anything she had seen. There were glowing mushrooms and strange plants. Everything seemed fantastical.
He gave a short nod before stopping in his tracks, going completely silent. There was a sound of loud rustling in the distance, and he grabbed her, pulling her behind the base of a tree.
