They walked for an hour longer before the tall trees became lit by lanterns, and buildings were embedded into the trees. A large city came into view, weaving between the trees. They ranged from the ground to the canopies, and it was filled to the brim with shady looking people.
For her part, Juniper looked intrigued. "I like the lanterns," she mused. "I should try that out in the fields."
He looked over at her, pulling up his own hood. "Keep your head down. Did you see anything specific in your vision?"
She looked up at him. "No, I've told you everything," she replied, tilting her head. "What's the matter?"
"I guess.. We are looking for something relevant to my Hearthstone, then.." He frowned, looking around. "I just don't know where to start."
She looked around the town before noticing a nearby bar that seemed busy. She brightened and took Zerras’ hand, pulling him forward. “This looks like a popular place.”
"Seriously?" he muttered, looking around warily. The bar was Indeed full. Every person there looked suspicious one way or another; covered in battle scars, carrying strange trinkets, generally suspicious behavior. It didn't look like the type of place for milkshakes, or much friendly small talk. Animal heads were hung up on the wall and it was filled with gruff chatter.
She looked up at him earnestly. “Yeah, I don’t know why I thought you’d know. I’ll ask the people at the front,” she said cheerfully, letting go of his hand and slipping away from him, moving through the crowd.
“Hello,” she said lightly to the bartender, her honey colored eyes glimmering at him from under her cloak. Do you guys sell milkshakes?”
The bartender was a rather dashing tiefling, his skin a soft lavender and hair almost white-ish. He raised an eyebrow at her before nodding slightly. "Sure." Zerras caught up, taking her arm with an irritated look. "June.."
She glanced up at him, patting his shoulder easily. "Hello, Zer. This nice guy has told me that this is the place that I can find milkshakes." She sat up on the bar stool, her feet swinging slightly. "Do you want one?"
