Xan tilted his head a little and smiled with his eyes closed. After a while of walking around the gardens, they both arrived back to where they started, seeing the sun falling slowly. "It's getting pretty late, it looks like. Would you like an escort home?" He offers.
Xan's eyes widened a little, eyebrow raised. "Wow, that's top quality there! Must be nice in there." He says smiling, as they both walk off outside the gardens and park, into the centre of the city.
"It's probably one of the most expensive hotels I've been in so far." Arcana said as they walked through the city.
"That's what I've heard. Sounds very luxurious." He replies, staying close to Arcana as they make their way through, before arriving at the entrance. "Well, here we are." He says with a smile, stretching a paw out towards the entrance.
"Thanks for showing me around," Arcana said as she pecks Xan lightly on the cheek. She turned toward the the hotel and went inside.
Xan bows respectfully, before his cheeks turn crimson once more, lightly brushing his cheek as she walks in. "Take care, miss." He says, waving to her. He then turns around, head down, making his way to his own home.
"You too!" He replied as she called out, smiling to himself all the way home. Feeling very tired, he slowly made his way into his house and collapsing onto his bed, sighing happily, quickly falling asleep, despite not having any dinner.
The sun hit Xan's eyes the next day, causing him to wince as he slowly wakes up, thinking it's too early to be up. Once again, he makes his way into city for a walk humming to himself as he tries to wake up fully.
Arcana slept like a log until she had to get up. She got some breakfast and checked her schedule for the day. 'I hope I bump into him again," she thought with a smile.
Xan changed his walking route on purpose, walking alongside the Paradise Hotel, hoping to bump into her once more.
Arcana finished her breakfast, and headed out the door of the Paradise Hotel. Seeing, Xan, happiness filled her and she carefully ran down the stairs of the hotel to see him.
Xan's eyes lit up and couldn't help but have a goofy grin on his face as he ran towards Arcana, hugging her. "Hello there! How are you?" He asks, feeling very awake suddenly.
He nods as he smiles. "Yeah, I managed to sleep easily." He says before turning away for a second. "for once." He mutters.
Arcana heard the what Xan muttered, but decided not to press it, she hugged him again and said, "well, be glad that you slept well." She looked at her map and asked him where the Natural History Museum was.
Looking away and frowning for a few seconds, Xan turns back to Arcana, ears up. "Oh! Yeah, I know where that is. It's decently far though." He replies, happy to escort her once more, to the museum.
"I'm glad you know where it is. would you mind taking me there please?" Arcana asked him with a smile on her face.
