"Well, I suppose you're dropping some weight by choosing the gun... OK then! Time for you to meet another member." Sand said opening the door back to the main room. "We're ready Sir Starswirl!" Sand said, lowering his hood, as if he were getting ready for some formal occasion. "Psst, Knight, take off your helmet, the pony we're about to meet is very important."
Starswirl took off his hat and walked up to an large crystal door. "Hope shall never die, so long as there are ones that believe in it." He said. Markings appeared on the door, and the door vanished, just like the door to the armory. Inside there was a soft white glow.
Soon, a gentle, yet strong voice came out of seemingly nowhere. "You are looking at me, Knightfall." The soft glow faded, and an tall, majestic, pure white alicorn walked forward. "Mi'lady Oracle." Said Starswirl, Sand Flow and Spark Storm in unison, before kneeling.
"It is ok, Knight Fall. Sand made the mistake when he was introduced to me too!" Oracle said, with laugh. "Please don't remind me mi'lady..." Sand said, looking embarrassed. Starswirl stood up. "Well, Knightfall, allow me to introduce you to Oracle. She is the one that directs us through time, and helps us prevent catastrophes. Infact, she was the very one that detected your presence in that altered time line and sent Sand to rescue you." "Man, if I could see the past, present and future, that would be amazing!" Spark Storm said.
"No need to go that far, Knight, or we won't get to what's important." Oracle said, while grinning and levitating a pendant over to Knight. "You might have noticed that all the other guardians are wearing pendants like these. They work like communicators, and an emergency time gate. It's quite simple really!" Starswirl chimed in.
"Ok, Knight, Sand, your first destination will be shortly after the Discord Wars. Here, one of the remaining generals of Discord has found an artifact linked directly to his soul. He never succeeded however, but he did cause something that changed the course of history. There, you will meet up with one of our agents there.To make sure it is you, he will ask you, 'Who are the Harmonious Ones?' The answer will be, 'Long Live Luna and Celestia.' Got it?" Oracle said.
Sand got up and walked into a further chamber of Oracle's layer. Inside was a pedestal, and a wall behind it. Sand walked up to it and motioned Knight to come in.
Sand unsheathed his blade, and plunged it into the pedestal. The wall infront of him collapsed, revealing a pond whose waters were near crystal clear, however, they did not reflect what was in the room, the reflected something different entirely.
"Well, you figured that out quickly." Sand said, walking into the pond. They emerged on a burnt crop field.
"Well, you did jump into the pod, which was our method of transportation to this time." Sand said. "Hold on. Do you hear that?" There was a soft grumbling noise, which was getting closer.
