    I bought a decent microphone not too long ago and decided to put it through its paces. I figured, "why not record yourself reading someone's fanfiction?" So I did that, using Alex_'s story "Trixie's Back-Alley-at-Midnight Firework Shop" at Fimfiction.Net as a test subject, and got the author's permission to post it on YouTube.

    This is nuts. I posted a reading of Admiral Biscuit's short fic "Fishing" (heard below), and at this time it has more views than my entire Jazz Jackrabbit playthrough up to this point combined. Sure, it's not much, but still.

    I wonder if I'm on to something here.
