A Small Victory

Some time ago you may have heard me complain about goods breaking down around the same time, including my headphones where one speaker stopped functioning. Since my laptop speakers don't work, a set of headphones are the only means of listening to anything from my laptop. Today however, I found out what the problem was; the signal that's supposed to get to the right speaker wasn't getting through so the fault must've been at that wire. So then I replaced the connections with two wires that are thicker, the ones that were available for students to use and it worked! Both speakers give sound now. A small victory against planned obsolescence.
