Grammar: A Rant.

Before I begin, this is aimed at no pony in specific. Or, if it is, they will not be spoken of.

*clears throat*

Have you ever been in the middle of a really intense conversation, and suddenly had somepony break in with something along the lines of...

"lolz i tots agreed i is felling so smart in here! #yolo #swag."

Perhaps that is an exaggeration. But you get my drift. And, as I have mentioned before, nothing quite kills a RP like a good ol' fight scene, and somepony saying this.

"~~~ walked away frum da tank as it went boom and was lookin real cool all the mares bowed before him."

I mean, really? Please, if you are going to add your input to something, have people take you seriously. You may have really good ideas, but nobody cares, because they can't read what you have written. It makes it seem like you are uneducated, or perhaps don't have a comma, period, shift key, etc on your computer.

This is probably the only time you will hear me rant seriously about something. Savor it. :p

If this is against any rule, I apologize wholeheartedly. It's just something I've noticed, but I don't want to cause any trouble. Feel free to shut it down if need be.

    It can completely kill the feel given in an RP though, along with making it hard to read, it's understandable if it's a simple one off typo, but with such as what Eluuna has posted, it's obviously not just a simple lack of grammar. It also kills the mood of the RP. It really does.

    I thought that this was a given.

    By the way, I don't have a shift key anymore. I only have caps-lock. It's why you never see me use the colon or the question mark.

    If you aren't from an English speaking country, I completely understand. But, if it just comes down to laziness/not caring, that's just...... *sigh*
