So it turns out I haven't used my blog at all this year. Let's change that.
*blows away the dust*
This past year has been full of it's own comings and goings, but i'm slightly disappointed that I have to admit it could've been alot better. The site's been going more downhill than uphill this past year, I think everyone was aware of it. But was there anyone specific to blame?
At first, I thought there was. Turns out I couldn't have been more wrong. I've blamed and berated certain staff members for this, and while i have done my best to make amends for it recently, I apologize for it again. Even if there was someone to blame, I only have the right to blame myself. Negativity and loss of faith is what drags this site down, and for a pretty long period, I was full of it. Some people still don't have much faith in the future, but I plan to change that however I can.
But let's not dwell on the past we should forget. And while the Brony community may no longer be what it used to be, i'm confident again that we can still make something worthwile of it. Season 3 dragged us down because it was too short, but Season 4 will last well into 2014, and it'll help in keeping the site alive. Since early this morning i've also been made aware of old friends rejoining the staff, along with a very promising new addition!
Is it going to be smooth sailing from here on out just because I say so? Not at all! There's a reason why going uphill is harder than going downhill. We need to work at it, and I'm certainly going to do the best I can to pull my own weight, if not more than just mine. But I can't pull Everypony's weight alone. The members of Everypony make the site what it is, and I do mean all of us.
Let's make 2014 a year worth remembering!
I know, i'm so cheesy by nature you could melt me into a grilled cheese sandwich... It's christmas, what'd you expect?
