(HEY KIDS, IT'S FOREIGN FILM TIME !!! I have decided to post this early since i might not post on Friday and that this was already completed as a school review. It's much shorter than The Dark Knight Rises, but you will understand why.)

Putih abu-abu dan sepatu kets is a movie based around a group of teenage girls as they experience the joys and pains of teenage life. The girls experience reality firsthand and struggle to deal with the ideals of love, pain and depression.

It would have had the makings of a good movie.....

Instead, the movie quickly degenerated into nothing more than a soap opera that would play on a television station in the middle of the day. While exploring the lifestyles and attitudes that some Indonesian teens have, they are executed horribly by some of the actors. Kemala, one of the girls in the group tries to win the boy of her dreams only to find out that he is a complete jerk by ruining another girl’s life. While the start of this movie was intense and had a deep and eerily tone towards it, this makes the rest of the movie look disappointing in comparison. This movie got very confusing, very fast.

The movie is nothing more than a one off and has potential to ruin some these young actors’ careers. Linguistically wise, it’s a good film to learn some language from but the expressions of the actors at some times are almost unnecessary and show little relevance to real life issues towards teenagers. The soundtrack is just Indonesian pop, fitting since it’s a movie about Indonesian teenagers and there are almost no visual effects in this movie at all as it focuses on pure acting. The acting however is awful...

I actually found it hard to watch this movie. I have seen much worse, but this is easily the worst foreign movie I have seen for a while. And just when the movies presentation could not get any worse, the cover art is stolen from another movie named Azul Oscuro Casi Negro.



It has happened before, but this is almost a direct rip off..

It’s about time that i wrapped things up here. If you like foreign films, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE, it's just insulting. This movie is like a large inside joke that only the people involved making it understand. I could write more about how bad this movie is, but i think you get the idea.

It has been Eight years after Batman disappeared, blamed for murder for Harvey Dent, Bruce Wayne (Played by Christian Bale) is a wounded recluse who has spent his time retaining a somewhat normal life and Gotham City has managed to survive without him. That is until the masked terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) decides it’s time to take the whole place down...



Being a movie in the Dark Knight series, this has had alot of anticipation. In 2005, Batman Begins rebooted the Batman series of movies showcasing the sheer amount of reputation that The Caped Crusader has earnt over his long career. We have seen Bruce Wayne transform from a charismatic billionaire to the badass saviour of Gotham city. In this film, we begin to grasp what the connection between these two “figures” and exactly who they are. We have Batman,Bane and Gordon....oh and Catwomen.

The third film has basically shifted into over drive where The Dark Knight (2008) left off. The movie basically starts with Commissioner Gordon saying “I knew Harvey Dent,” who was an unfortunate soul to go through his transformation from good to evil and was the district attorney who was cleaning up Gotham’s criminal scene like a poker match where everything was in his favour. Gordon is a good cop who stayed good as his appearance has been unchanged over the last couple years. There are several newcomers like Blake (another good policeman untouched by corruption) and Miranda Tate, a wealthy women who seems to be well....I don’t think I can say it here. Then of course we have our butler Alfred who has always stayed at Bruce’s side and we have the all mighty god that is Morgan Freeman playing Lucius Fox, who is basically a batman version of Q.

The Gadgets in this movie are very impressive and still remains its uniqueness in the series and The Batpod is still in the series. But the most iconic of these Gadgets is the angry car...tank...thing known as the Tumbler, possibly one of the most intimidating machines in cinema. This vehicle is best seen from far way from when bad guys are wetting themselves when they see this black beauty coming towards them. This time, we have a brand new addition to the vehicle family, a flying craft which Batman can use to zip around Gotham at amazing speeds and is super tough with its weaponry and armour. Lucius didn’t give it a good name however, simply calling it “The Bat.” Come on Mr Freeman, wake up, smell the ashes and also give this vehicle a better name.



Batman will need all the gizmos and strength he can get to defeat his newest and most dangerous foe, Bane. Bane is extremely strong and intelligent who was “born and raised in hell on earth”, not to mention that he has a really cool voice and that he reminds me of a modern day Che Guevara. When I watched this, I could not really tell what sort of accent he had. But I assumed that it was Middle Eastern or Russian. Right near the start, he launched himself from an airplane while in-flight, then later he was blowing Gotham’s sewers which leads towards an amazing scene where a Gridiron stadium collapses during a Gridiron game. Shame that these scenes were shown in the trailers, so we already knew that these scenes were going to happen. Curse you Nolan for spoiling some bits for the big event because these scenes would have been one hellva twist.

Who exactly does the Rising in this movie? Is it the Slacker Wayne or the mask wearing Bane (that rhymed: p). this is debateable, they both do some sort of rising, especially Wayne when he gets his a-game on. This Rising is helped with the Soundtrack which is impressive, but not the best i have heard. I tend to notice Game soundtracks much easier then Movie soundtracks so that might be because of that. But the music is still good.

Acting in this movie is superb; Christopher Nolan has done another fantastic job in making another film of brilliance. This is a challenging final film and sets to reconcile issues that were raised in the first two and brings an end to the story of Bruce Wayne in an epic conclusion while delivering dramatic speeches, action sets and twists and surprises that weave into the ending. I believe that Tom Hardy has done the best here as his role of Bane, not only did he look tough, sound extremely charismatic and intelligent but it turned out that Hardy was putting a voice on for the entire movie. When Bane said “You have my permission to die”, I got Goosebumps at the fact of it being a meme and possibly one of the coolest villain conclusions ever which was delivered in absolute perfection.



The only thing that i can say about this movie that is bad is its length. It is almost three hours long or 165 minutes long if you want to get technical. I found myself getting drifted away at parts only to be hooked shortly after. With this Batman movie being possibly one of the best ever made, I personally think that it comes close to Heath Ledger’s performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Nolan has not disappointed here, I can say that now.

This is honestly one of the best movies that i have seen for a while now, while some might cringe at the thought of Batman being on the silver screen this works here. If you have seen the other two, you must watch this to see the epic climax of the series. Will the Dark Knight rise to glory in the superhero genre? You have a yes from me.

Hello and welcome to the first of a new blog “segment” called Crim at the movies. This blog will be about me basically watching movies either new or old and reviewing them. Just please remember that i have a different or maybe similar opinion from you and to be respectful. I always enjoy feedback.
To kickstart his new thing i have going on here, my first movie will be Tron Legacy...



The story is about the son of a world famous virtual world designer goes looking for his father who went missing many years prior to the movie. Several years later, the son becomes an adult and is searching for his father ever since he disappeared. After receiving a tip from one of his father’s friends, he finds himself mysteriously stuck inside the world that his father designed. He finds out that this society is under a dictatorship lead by an exact copy of his father and meets a unique ally that he finds in the grid.

Well. First of all, the music is composed by Daft Punk so that already gets some points from me and the visual details are superb, possibly some of the best that I have seen. The effects used in this movie that are done by Disney are extremely immersive and helps lead unto this fascinating and dangerous world.

Acting wise is well done, but the best role would go to Jeff Bridges who plays as Kevin Flynn, the creator of what has become known as “The Grid” and is the father of the protagonist, Sam Flynn. Not only does he play a great role in this movie, but also wears a badass longcoat which literally screams “Don’t screw with me.” Unfortunately, his enemys cant hear Kevin while he is ripping them to shreds.



This is also quite a lengthy movie, but long enough to keep you on your toes. TRON:legacy is an enjoyable experience for newcomers and lovers of the original.

(This might sound abit like the From the Ashes Fanfic with the whole Washington confederacy, but this is what i think of what happened after Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Also...Fallout 4 should be announced on May 15th, and i will be very surprised if it isn't.)

The Lone Wanderer is a Female, even through the wiki (according to the E3 trailer, which
isnt really evidence said the the LW is a Male.)

The Courier is a Male, and is the son of the Chosen One (The protagonist of Fallout 2)

My courier was born in 2243, making him 38 at the events of New Vegas and 15 years older than
the LW.

NCR won the Second Battle of Hoover Dam in 2281, and crippled the Legion dramatically with the death of Caesar, Lanius and all major officers and a enormous loss of military soldiers.

After Fallout 3, the East Coast Brotherhood made a treaty with all the settlements in the capital wasteland and formed The Capital Confederacy or TCC for short.

After New Vegas, the Courier became a ranger in the NCR and became a Veteran Ranger injust over a week. The Courier soon becomes a major figure in the NCR and has a very powerful influrence in how the country is run.

President Kimball resigns after New Vegas, ending the imperialism control on the republic afterTandi's death. The Chosen One becomes president, and the Republic's strength in military and rebuilding California and many other cities increase 10x fold. While the topic is
debatable, the chosen one becomes a better president than Tandi.

The Courier now becomes known as The Archangel, due to his "good deeds"

The Courier is Immortal due to the advanced technology in his brain which has given a much longer
lifespan like a ghoul. Not to mention that he is technically a Cyborg due to having his heart and
spine removed in Old world Blues

Due to disorganization without a successful Caesar, the Legion lost many of its strongholds and fled to the east,raiding small tribes. They then encountered the Confederacy in 2284 and were forced to combat them. They were now trapped in Ohio. By 2289, the Legion is completely wiped out.

After Fallout 3, the LW becomes an influential figure in the TCC and holds the position of Star Paladin the Brotherhood. She is sent on missions alongside the TCC and the TCC holds almost all of the Pre war East Coast by 2288 by using Brotherhood and Enclave technology to develop many of their own technological uses, such as a new power armor. They would not come into contact with the NCR until 2289

The Brotherhood reforms to become the TCC military, while keeping it's ranking system for its Scribes, and soldiers. They quickly restore peace around the wasteland and eventually the entire east coast.

And of course, i have shipped the LW and Courier. They become married in 2291.

(I should post my MLP timeline as well. But that would be on a separate post. So whacha think ?)

As many of you know or for those who read my post's, im writing a fantasy novel at the moment. Of course... naming is some of the difficult things you can do when writing a novel or lore. I can come up with this stuff, but is very time consuming in doing so

So i thought... why not let the community decide?

If your interested, PM me about your ideas of locations and so forth. You will be credited in the book for some of the provinces and empires and so forth that you would have created... and maybe even a direct reference some how.

Hey guys. It’s your loveable Australian with what’s what of my life and other things that the most stereotypical stuck up girls won’t understand.

If you remember (Which you might not...), i posted about a machinima named Crystal Bay or Shallow Bay that me and my friends are making. We have currently put that on hold while we develop a much more serious machinima. My friend is currently writing it and he is a Halo addict and scholar, so those who understand the Halo universe should like this a lot. Me however.... I prefer Fallout.

The project is currently unnamed but it promises to be a good one. Set in the Halo Universe and set not long before Halo 4 at somepoint, the mysterious Delta Team (Those who know should understand that some Spartan 3’s survived, book and games included.) escape the wrath of a Sangheli Separatist leader and meet up with Morpheus, a Ai who will help out our heros along the way.

Voice acting and storylines are sketchy as we only had this idea today, but further development will continue in the future.

Also... I will start my Fantasy novel near the end of April. Just currently creating the lore and so forth....

Crimson Lionheart

(PS: The N7 Shadow is the best class in the universe !)

I was on my way to school stuck on the main road leading to my school. It’s usually busy along here except at night when little to no cars is on. The time was 8:15 and I was late to school which starts at 8:30. I had just left my house.

We were waiting for the lights to go green at a junction that leads straight to what could be called the highway even through it’s just another street. I was the second car from the lights and i was talking to my mum and my six year old brother when we heard a tire screech.

Next thing I know.....BANG!

Our car was hit by another in a domino effect sort of crash. Because I was in the family’s 4WD, our car got out relatively unscaved as it’s built like a tank. The cars behind us weren’t so happy.

A mother and two children (Boy and girl) who appeared to be 8 or 9 years old got out of the car shortly after the accident, the mother and boy got whiplash while the girl had this large bruise on her face. Their car was utterly annihilated with the front and back part of their car being destroyed and undriveable.

The Holden (The Australian Chevrolet and also owned by GM) ahead of me only got a dent. The girl who was driving was crying her eyes out, either because she was terrified of the even or the car wasn’t hers.
And the last car was a dark green 1990’s commodore (A Holden) which was damaged due its radiator smashing into the engine.

Me and my family, through shocked about the event got out unharmed. I was outraged about who hit us but I was calmed down and we helped those who were hit until the police, fire department and ambulances came.

Unfortunately, I still had to go to school even through i had a chance for a day off. Good thing we have insurance.

Me and my friends are enormously excited for the premiere of this show by Monty Qum. Since i watched Red Vs Blue from Season 1 to 10, this is going to be the big... well to me and many fans anyway.

Since i wanted to get into Animation anyway, Monty is kinda my hero. I cant show the first trailer since i would assume it would be removed due to gore. This one i can show.

It will come out at July 5th to 7th at RTX. I will get it a day later cause im an Aussie.

Anyway, i hope you like it.

Likat: Known to humans as “Jackals”, The Likat are an anthropomorphic Canine races from the deserts of Jusania. Likat’s vary considerably in appearance, some being larger than others. They are excellent fighters and are good tradesmen and merchants. Likat also vary in colours, some being brown to white, though they can be black, red and purple. While their society is a form of tribal culture, they can unite with one another in times of need.
Over thousands of years, they have been one of the under classes races for several different races. Those who escaped or are freed and make it back to Jusania to continue their life’s or get revenge on their former owners.

(Currently Unnamed)Dark Elves: Coming from another continent across the ocean between Ardelan and a recently discovered continent, little is known about this race other than they appear almost exactly like Elves with the exception of their recognizable dark skin and have extremely similar eyes to a Ryborian. While they know little about Ardelan and the other races, they know of the Ryborians and their culture and have attempted to rebuild it on their continent, but lack the strength to expand their small nation.

It is believed that sometime before the Ryborian migration, the Ryborians found this continent by accident and found the dark elves. In the following years, they became serverts to the Ryborians and were worshiped as gods. The Ryborians then taught the Dark Elves how to learn their language and how their culture worked. Once the Ryborians left this continent to return to Windaria, the dark elves made a small civilisation and a religion around the Ryborian incident and how they would be “Living like animals” if they never found each other.

Human: The most common race in Ardelan, Humans are very adaptable and have many traits that other races lack, the most notable being their adaptability to build a settlement almost anywhere.
Like the Likat, Humanity has varies in appearance such as skin colour, facial appearances etc. Humanity has the most kingdoms in Alderan and are on par with the elves as the strongest race on the continent. They also almost outnumber every other race, with their numbers being in the tens of millions and live up to 80-100 years of age. They are liked by most races, but others have a strong distrust with them, especially the surviving Ryborians.

Dwarves: Dwarves are a proud and stern race and were made to be sturdy to resist the dangers of the world. They were physically much stronger than humans, elves, and many other races and had great endurance, especially in the ability to resist great heat and cold, and they made light of heavy burdens. Dwarves lived up to three hundred years old and had the ability to learn new skills quickly, making them the second longest living race.

Dwarves usually used axes as their weapon of choice because it can be used as a tool or a weapon, but in addition to axes they also used hatchets, mattocks, short swords, war hammers and short bows and arrows. Sometimes the dwarves threw their axes and hammers at the enemy. At the ends of battles dwarves often collected old axes because they didn't have the heart to leave them behind. They have one vast empire and have an impressive military force.

Elves: Elves are very similar to Men. Unlike Men, however, there are several different races of them. The most common being the Darin, who appear almost exactly like man with the exception of being shorter and having the recognisable pointy ears.

Elves are (generally) unusually handsome of face and body, and they have better vision and hearing than Men. They also have skills and abilities, and perception of things the same that of Men. Elves (Depending on race) are usually great tradesmen and warriors but they are famous for their assassins and archers.

Orc’s: While many find Orc’s to be a backward race or primitive, they are one of the best warriors in all of Ardelan and the most feared in battle. Orc’s stand at 7 feet tall and are extremely well built, and are stronger than the dwarves. They only live in a small and mountainous (Currently unnamed empire) north west of the human and dwarves empires, seeing no need to expand. Orc’s only live up to fifty and are the shortest lived races, but are the only race other than the Ryborians to have regeneration ability.

Ryborians: Although being depicted as gods in ancient times, the Ryborians are the most magically gifted race and the longest living with a life span of four thousand. The Ryborians escaped the destruction of their homeland Windaria forty thousand years ago and sailed thousands of miles to start again while Windaria recovers. While being extremely powerful natural mages and warriors, their numbers are always short due to them having a genetic disorder that only allows them to have only one child every ten to twenty years, which also made their retina black while their Isis remains normal. Because of this, wars are devastating to them and try to avoid them if possible.

The Ryborians almost went extinct three hundred years before the events of the book in an event known to them as “The Black War” (Being named due to the colour of their retinas). While having much better combat training and equipment, only several hundred remain instead of the previous fifty thousand. This however caused an enormous price at the cost of having humanity’s numbers being reduced dramatically.

The most famous event from the war was its last day, where a lone Ryborians assassin slaughtered the entire royal family and the war’s starter in revenge for the cold and mindless slaughter of his people. Once done, he simply walked out in the full view of the human army. The army only watched, as if recognizing his rite of passage....or out of fear.

Howdy. Just recenty, i have been working on aspects of my fantasy story that would make it much more enjoyable to read. Such as Plot,Characters,Locations and so forth. I've also receved a message from Issac Pierce saying that we should both talk. (I'll talk the moment i get the chance to, dont worry)

So far, ive created a total of about 5 different races for my story, i have drawn the world map for the novel but dont expect it to be professional, and i have cemented the backstory for my main character.

You want to know about the main character.....dont you.

The main character's name is Adaria Euralain. She is about 22 years old and is the captain of the Royal Guard of Silvercastle, the capital of one of the currently unnamed human empires. She was raised in the Royal palace when her parents abandoned her at the citys halls wanting a better life. She is a great friend of Princess Rosaline, Heir to the throne and get along very well.

She is a expert at swordsmanship and a jack of all trades at many other weapons. She has short yellow hair and blue eyes. And is 6ft tall and uses every inch to intimidate her opponents. More will be discussed

Well.... that's it for now. I could go on and on but i'll make seperate blogs in detail about them.

Howdy. Crim here with an idea.

Over the past couple of months, ive been having ideas and some dreams about an story idea that i should write down. The whole idea is this group of heros raising an army to stop a large slaver army. (Like we havent heard that before, *Cough*Caesars legion *cough*) in a fantasy set world. This would be a good story or even game idea

I have several different characters and races with their strenghts and weaknesses. Ranging from the average but highly adaptable humans, elfs, orcs, dwarfs and so forth. And a Race of my own Creation, The Ryborians.

Pictures might be posted, alongside some of the story chapters.

If you guys like it, im happy to explain everything in detail in seperate blog posts.
