  1. Today i'm going to announce a brand new series Reviews and Comparisons basically review a show, game or movie that i'm either A. a fan of B. Think is just ok or decent or C. Like alot but not enough to call myself a fan and compare it to a show that I am a fan of however as this is the very first Reviews and Comparisons i'm going to do it a little differently today I promise though that from now on though they will work and look like how I described it. Anyway without further ado let's get started.

Reviews and Comparisons: Equestria Daily vs. Thepetshopinsider by dbzponyninja a.k.a. E.C. Written on ‎February ‎16, ‎2013

Hello my name is dbzponyninja as i'm known as on both Everypony.com and Fimfiction.net and today i'll be bringing you the very first Reviews and Comparisons ever so without further ado let's get started.

Equestria Daily.com and Thepetshopinsider.com formally known as Thepetshopinsider.blogspot.com are two very similiar looking fan sites with the way they work, look and are pretty much set up except that Equestria Daily is a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic fan site and Thepetshopinsider is a Littlest Pet Shop fan site.

Now let's compare how the two fan sites are similiar both sites have Drawfriends full of fan art, fan made comics although I haven't seen a fan made comic on Thepetshopinsider.com in a few weeks maybe even a month, fan fiction stories and fan made music plus news and information about the respective shows that said fan site is about one of the few things I have yet to see on Thepetshopinsider is convention information and fan animations/ fan made videos.

So as you can see or I guess in this case read both fan sites are similiar and have alot of the same stuff on both sites and of course while both My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop are both owned by Hasbro studios and Media DHX and are both shown on The Hub channel and while both shows feature the voice talents of Ashleigh Ball, Brian Drummound, Cathy Weseluck, Kathleen Barr, Nicole Oliver, Peter New, Shannon Chan Kent and Tabitha St. Germain they are still different shows with a different cast of characters set in different locations and also created by different people.

Anyway that's all of Reviews and Comparisons for today so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or my dad "bye bye now."

Now it's time to vote on next week's Reviews and Comparisons do you want me to review and compare A. Dragon Ball Z and or GT with first series Naruto and or Naruto Shippuden, B. Littlest Pet Shop with Pound Puppies or C. Xmen with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
  2. Topic of The Week 6: Is The Hub Channel Becoming The New Cartoon Net‎work ?, by dbzponyninja a.k.a. E.C. Written on ‎February ‎11, ‎2013

It is once again time for Topic of The Week so without further ado let's get started.

The Hub Channel and Cartoon Network both channels are great for bringing us cartoon shows that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders and even though The Hub Channel has bIeen around for two years and four months and Cartoon Network has been around since the 90's and maybe even a little bit of the 80's too lately i've been thinking that maybe The Hub Channel is very slowly becoming the new Cartoon Network.

What I mean by that is that I think The Hub has become the favorite cartoon channel of several people who are not only my age and older but for children too and while The Hub doesn't have anything like Adult Swim to show adult cartoons at night and something like Toonami that show uncut and unedited English anime I still stand by what I said about The Hub very slowly becoming the new Cartoon Netowk.

Don't get me wrong though I still watch alot more shows on Cartoon Network than The Hub so i'm not hating on Cartoon Network anymore this is just my thoughts on the topic/ subject at hand.

Anyway sorry I don't have more to talk about or say this week but anyway that's all I have to say about the Topic of The Week for this week so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or my dad "bye bye now."

I'm afraid this will be the last Topic of The Week for a while I simply don't know what I want to talk about so anyway bye for now I hope that in the mean time you'll enjoy my Reviews and Comparisons blog that will be coming up sometime this week and in the mean time will be the the new weekly blog that I make hope you enjoy anyway bye for now.
  3. On top of Topic of The Week I also plan to start another weekly blog titled Reviews and Comparisons basically I review
something whether it's one of the shows i'm a fan of such as My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop, the entire Dragon Ball series but mostly Dragon Ball Z, the entire Naruto series but mostly Naruto Shippuden, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel superheroes and DC superheroes and compare them to another show that I am a fan of or I might talk about one of the shows that I like alot but not enough to call myself a fan and compare it to one of the shows that I am a fan of or I might talk about one of the shows that I think is just ok or decent and compare it to one of the shows that I am a fan of. Anyway that is all so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or my dad "bye bye now."
  4. Topic of The Week 5 Marvel vs. DC Are Both Superhero Brands Equally Great Or Is One Better Than The Other? by dbzponyninja a.k.a. E.C. Written on ‎February ‎04, ‎2013

Monday has once again rolled/come upon us therefore I once again bring you the Topic of The Week so without further ado let's get started.

However before I begin I apoligize to BryguyShinigami on my Everypony.com Friends List as I didn't pick the Topic of The Week that he voted and also because he was the only one who voted on this week's Topic of The Week last week I promise that next week i'll talk about Is The Hub Channel Becoming The New Cartoon Network? Anyway let's get started.

Marvel and DC both are Superhero/ comic book brands that have made/ produced many cartoon shows, movies, video games and comic books but are very great and I like both of them equally but is one brand better than the other let's find out together?

Just like last week when I compared the Brony fandom with the Petter Fandom I will doing the same thing for Marvel and DC this week so let's get started.

Superhero Brand Comparisons Part One Marvel:

Marvel has some of the most famous and iconic superheroes such as Spider-man, Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine and Daredevil to name a few Marvel is also the most popular superhero brand as there are alot more Marvel superheroes than DC superheroes but we can't completly discount or ignore DC all together after all we are about to talk about the DC superhero brand right now.

Superhero Brand Comparisons Part Two DC:

DC while that brand doesn't have nearly as many superheroes and villains as the Marvel brand DC also has some famous and iconic superhero like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Martian Manhunter and while DC doesn't have as many superhero/ comic book characters as Marvel superhero/ comic book fans also like DC.

    Closing Statements:

So is one brand better than the other honestly I don't know i'll let you decide. So as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or dad "bye bye now."
Since I promised to talk about Is The Hub Channel Slowly Becoming The New Cartoon Network next week there will be no voting on next week's Topic of The Week.
  5. For those of you who have read/ looked at my Topic of The Week blogs and commented/ replied on them I wanna let you know that from now on at the request of my mom and dad I will no longer be putting my name on Topic of The Week from now on instead of saying by and my name i'll be saying by dbzponyninja a.k.a. E.C. also does anybody know how I can post some of my fanfiction stories on here if noone tells me how to do it then I guess i'll just figure it out by myself anyway that is all bye.
  6. Topic of The Week 4: The Petter Fandom Will It Become As Big and Popular As The Brony Fandom? by Evan Carlton Written on ‎January ‎28, ‎2013

My name is Evan Warren Carlton and I once again bring you the Topic of The Week so without further ado let's begin.

I know I have a forum thread and blog on Everypony.com about this topic but i'm going to go into more detail so here we go.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop are to Hasbro owned shows shown on The Hub they have both become popular with people of all ages and genders and both have their own seperate fandoms, bronies for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and petters for Littlest Pet Shop but despite the fact that Littlest Pet Shop has only been out for three months and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic has been out for two years does the Petter fandom have what it takes to one day be as big and popular as the Brony fandom let's find out together?

Fandom Comparisons Part One Brony Fandom:

Bronies and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic has been around for two years now it will have been three years by the time October 10, 2013 rolls around and bronies have done and made all sorts of amazing things like radio shows and broadcast on Everfree Radio and Celestia Radio, fan sites like Everypony.com and Equestria Daily.com, conventions, charities, fan art, fan fiction, fan made music, fan animations and AMV's cleverly renamed PMV's by the fans (pony music videos) for those of you in the new a AMV or PMV in the case of the brony fandom for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is when someone takes and shows scenes from a show and puts a song in the video that matches and goes with the scenes from the video.

Fandom Comparisons Part Two Petter Fandom:

Petters and Littlest Pet Shop has only been for three months not even close to the amount of time that the Brony fandom has been around for and while Petters haven't made or done as many amazing things as Bronies have so far they have made fan sites like Thepetshopinsider.blogspot.com, fan art, fan fiction, fan made music and a small amount of AMV's not cleverly named LPSMV's and i'm still waiting for fan animation videos when can I see my favorite pets in a fan made video or even better a video featuring both the pets from Littlest Pet Shop and ponies from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic in the same video as I am both a Petter and a Brony.

Speaking of Bronies I bet I know what some of you people are thinking.

Aren't Most if Not All Petters Also Bronies?:

Yes to answer your question most if not all Petters are also Bronies and what I mean by that is that a large majority of the people who watch Littlest Pet Shop and have become Petters are also Bronies and fans of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, what I mean by that is that every Saturday a new episode of LPS (Littlest Pet Shop) comes on a hour after the new episode of MLP FiM (My Little Pony Friendship is Magic) and several voice actresses and one voice actor from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic also voice characters on Littlest Pet Shop and on top of that we also got Daniel Ingram composing lyrical music on not only LPS but MLP FiM as well.

    Closing Statements:

So even though Littlest Pet Shop and the Petter fandom hasn't been around as long My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or the Brony fandom I think that over time it could grow and maybe become as big and popular as the Brony fandom but I still think it will take a really long time for the Petter fandom or even the Brony fandom to become as big as Anime/ Otaku fandom, Trekkie/ Star Trek fandom which I am not a part of and have no interest in joining, the Whoovian/ Dr. Who fandom which I am also not a part of and have no interest in joining or even the superhero/ comic book fandom which I have been a part of for most of my life just like how i've also been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for most of my life as well but anyway that's all I have to say about the topic at hand so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or dad "bye bye now."

Anyway it's time to vote on next week's Topic of The Week so do you want me to talk about A. Is The Hub channel slowly becoming the new Cartoon Network?, B. Marvel vs. DC are both superhero brands equally great or is one better than the other?, or C. Manga vs. Comic Books What Do I Prefer?
  7. Before I begin today's Topic of The Week I want to apoligize to those who looked at Everypony.com and Fimfiction.net who actually read and looked at last weeks Topic of The Week and voted on today's Topic of The Week because even though several people agreed that I should talk about The Petter Fandom Will It Become As Big and Popular As The Brony Fandom, me and my parents agree that I should talk about The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are They Considered Superheroes anyway on with today's Topic of The Week.

Topic of The Week 3: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are They Considered Superheroes? Written and Made by Evan Carlton on ‎January ‎21, ‎2013

My name is Evan Warren Carlton and I am here to bring you the Topic of The Week so without further ado on with today's Topic of The Week.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been around since the late 80's and since their first of many shows and movies have premired they've been fighting The Shredder and his henchmen as well as The Foot Clan Ninjas but just because they fight evil villains does that make them superheroes well let's find out together?

One of the requirements for being a superhero is that you have to have superpowers but just because you don't have superpowers you can still be a superhero after all Batman, Batgirl and Robin don't have superpowers but they are still considered superheroes because they fight evil villains both with and without superpowers and they also protect the weak and innocent from danger.

One thing that both real life heroes and superheroes have in common is that unless they have no choice they try really hard not to kill their enemies.

One thing that pretty much every superhero has but The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't besides superpowers are one or more sidekicks but they don't have any younger teammates helping them out as a matter of fact the only show to have more than the the usual four turtles (Donatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo and Raphael) is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Next Mutation that show features a fifth female turtle named Venus who is not related to the other four turtles at all.

Anyway while The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't have some of the things that most superheroes have like superpowers or a sidekick they fufill all of the other requirements of being superheroes so to answer the question in today's Topic of The Week yes I do think The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are superheroes.

Bye the way there will be no choices for next weeks Topic of The Week as I will be talking about what several people on both Everypony.com and Fimfiction.net agreed that I should have talked about this week so yeah next weeks Topic of The Week will be The Petter Fandom Will it Become As Big and Popular As The Brony Fandom. so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or my dad "bye bye now."
  8. I don't know why i've never thought to do this before but i've had a Fimfiction account since July 2012 I think you should check out some of my stories on there, here's my userpage http://www.fimfiction.net/user/dbzponyninja.
  9. Topic of The Week 2 The Anime Fandom Why Anime is So Popular With People Of All Ages Written and Made by Evan Carlton on ‎January ‎14, ‎2013

My name is Evan Warren Carlton and just like with last week it is time for the Topic of The Week so without further ado on with the Topic of The Week .

Last week I talked about why me and several other adult men are bronies this week i'm going to be talking about why anime is so popular with people of all ages so without further ado let's begin.

    Anime Shows For Younger Audiences

Anime the word anime comes from the word animation and is used to describe Japanese cartoons made in Japan there are three types of anime shows, normal anime shows which are aimed or targeted by little boys like all fifteen shows from the Pokemon series that I no longer watch, all six shows from the Digmon series which I also no longer watch, four of the five Bakugan shows that I still watch because of how awesome and epic I think it is although I have never seen the Japanese version with English subtitles of Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Bakugan New Vestroia, (favorite Bakugan series) Bakugan Gundalian Invaders and Bakugan Mechtanium Surge so I don't know if the Japanese versions of these shows are more mature than the English versions of these shows which unfortunately are no longer shown on t.v., by the way i've never seen Bakutech Bakugan but I heard it's not as good as the previous four shows and none of the original cast of human characters or the original Bakugan from the previous series are in the show anymore so yeah I think i'll skip this show. (sigh oh well that's what we have Youtube for I guess)

    Magical Girl Anime Shows

Magical Girl Anime shows are Anime shows like Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew or Mew Mew Power as the English version is known as and Magical Do Rei Me or whatever the Japanese version is known as because i've never seen the Japanese version so I don't know if the Japanese version is called something else anyway Magical Girl Anime shows are generally targeted for girls of all ages including women but are also enjoyed by a share fair of teenage boys and adult men probably because they think the characters are sexy and occasionally they fight villains and monsters LOL I don't really know this for sure but i'm just guessing, anyway other than the listed things like sexy or cute female characters even though those are in all anime shows again LOL this type of anime show has several female characters with superpowers given to them by some magical force or object when the girls aren't fighting monsters or villains they're in High School or hanging out together having fun until a monster or villain shows up then they have a costume change by way of transformation sequence, fight the villain and or monster then defeat said monster or villain with a magical superpower.

Shonen Anime The Most Popular Type of Anime

The third and final type of Anime is definetly the most popular and talked about in the anime fandom/ otaku fandom Shonen Anime with such shows as Bleach that I no longer watch or have any interest in, One Piece which I started watching recently, Yu Yu Hakusho which I also no longer watch or have any interest in, both shows from the Naruto series including original first series Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and all four shows from the Dragon Ball series including original first series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Z Kai or as the Japanese version is called Dragon Ball Kai anyway Shonen Anime is Anime targeted or aimed at teenage boys and adult men but is also enjoyed by a fair share of teenage girls and adult women, Shonen Anime contains intense epic fights between good and evil, blood, swearing on the uncut English dvd and Bluray releases of Shonen Anime and occasional nudity from both the guy and girl characters.

    Otaku fans and Cosplayers

The final part of the Anime or otaku fandom for Anime fans is cosplayers who are also in every fandom from the Trekkie fans of Star Trek, the Whoovian fans for Dr. Who, superhero fans, The Adventure Time fans and the brony fans of the My Little Pony fandom, cosplayers go to all types of conventions whether it be a Star Trek convention, a My Little Pony convention, video game conventions, comic book conventions or a Anime convention you are sure to find people of all ages and both genders dressing up as their favorite Anime, cartoon, videogame or comic book characters and while some fans can be really obsessed with whatever they are fans of most of them are really nice people.

    Closing Statements

Now you know a little bit more about the Anime fandom and Why it's So Popular With People of All Ages so as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or my dad "bye bye now." Now it's time for you to vote on what the next Topic of The Week should be do you want A. Why i've recently decided to start watching old Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network shows again or B. The Petter fandom for Littlest Pet Shop will it become as big and popular as the Brony fandom or C. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are they considered superheroes?
