  1. .....................

Revelation Mountain second visit kicked my ass. Took me two attempts. Strike 1.

A lot of shocking stuff was revealed at the top. I'll try to summarize it.

A spring in a barrier. The Expedition Society got attacked but apparently it was a 'misunderstanding' SURE. I'M TOTALLY SURE.

Fenne can easily read ancient footprint writing. o_O

It mentions needing someone from the world of humans to break the barrier. How... ironic... but also... convenient? :dunno:

Krookodile appears. So does RAIKOU AND SUICUNE. To avenge Entei. He's screwed now.

    Or... not...

Krookodile demands 'money' from..... FREAKING NUZLEAF. SERIOUSLY GAME?! THAT'S THE VILLAIN?! HOW THE HELL DOES HE HAVE THE POWER TO TURN POKEMON TO STONE?! THAT IS NOT NORMAL.

Krookodile is a statue now. Squire breaks the barrier while the others 'keep Nuzleaf occupied' HA HA. YEAH RIGHT.

QUE YVELTAL. WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?! :sigh:

GAME OVER. EVERYONE IS A STATUE. EVEN THE EXPEDITION MEMBERS IN THE RUINS. THANKS TO THE FREAKING BEHEEYEM WHO ACTED LIKE GUARDIANS. HOW THE HELL DO THEY HAVE THE 'TURNING TO STONE POWER' TOO

Ampharos and Jirachi are shocked and don't know what to do. Espurr agrees to assist them but what can they do? Apparently most pokemon are now statues thanks to Yveltal and I HATE YOU NUZLEAF.

Abyssal Badlands wasn't much better. I got my ass kicked even more. SCREW STRIKE 2. STRIKE 3.

    I'm done. Seriously.

This is freaking ridiculous. This game is WAY TO FREAKING HARD.

I'm taking a break while I try to get help on other boards on HOW THE HELL YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO HANDLE THIS OBVIOUSLY IMPOSSIBLE GAME.

See you when I see you.

    Next time:

    I. HATE. THIS. GAME

  2. I'm so clever. (not really...)

Anyway after another annoying mission another 'warning' is given out. This time for... Entei. Somehow... I'm not surprised. :dunno:

The warning even states anyone is allowed to come and watch. As long as they don't mind being turned to stone as well. How... nice...

So what does the Expedition Society do? They go of course. Squire and Fenne are told to stay and hold down the fort, but after nagging we're allowed to come along as well. Well... maybe we can stop it? (Yeah right...)

Anyway Showdown Mountain wasn't too ridiculous. At the end, we're too late. We find a very 'stiff' Entei. Stiff as in, HE'S A FREAKING STATUE NOW.

Yikes... whoever this is, is not only fast, but freaking powerful. Also, Krookodile was trying to follow us but got chased off by Mawile and dropped some weird stone tablet that, obviously, Mawile spent practically all of the next day trying to translate. Which she did. Apparently it was a log of the 'pokemon turning to stone' incidents. Also, apparently it came from some ruins to the east.

However, before everyone can go check the place out on the off chance it has a way to reverse the process, we are told that Krookodile was seen heading towards... OF COURSE IT'S SERENE VILLAGE. WHY WOULDN'T IT BE?! :pff:

So two groups are formed. One to chase after Krookodile and the other to check out the ruins. Squire, Fenne and Archen are in charge of chasing Krookodile since Squire and Fenne know the area. I guess that makes sense. The others obviously head off for the ruins. BECAUSE I'M SURE SPLITTING UP TOTALLY WON'T HAVE ANY BAD CONSEQUENCES THIS TIME. ::S:

Unfortunately, that was all I was able to do this time.

    Next time:

Hello Revelation Mountain. We meet again.

    Oh... one more thing...

There's a wolf in sheep's clothing. This time for sure guys.

    ALL MY RAGE.

    ALL OF IT.

  3. So Fire Island Volcano didn't end up being as ridiculous as I thought it would be.

However, when I got ready to face the bosses... I realized I forgot to bring my Orbs and Blast Seeds. But, I tried the bosses anyway.
You won't believe the result. Even I kind of didn't.

I got lucky enough to find a Slumber Orb in the dungeon so I used that right away. Other than that, with thanks to Emeras, Squire and Buizel's water attacks, the Magmortar and Magmar group is defeated eventually.

They mention something about a 'master' of Fire Island Volcano. I'M SURE IT'S TOTALLY NOT ENTEI OR ANYTHING. ::S:

    We reach the summit... and...

    GOD DAMMIT IT'S ENTEI.

Buizel... what are you doing? He tries to fight him and, not surprisingly, gets trounced. GUESS WHO HE'S COMING AFTER NEXT?! :sigh:

    *sighs*

Despite no Blast Seeds, I still had sleep and confuse wands, which I obviously used. In the end, somehow, it's not that I really 'won' per say, but the game just switched to a scene where Entei blows us away and we're pretty much out of it.

    GAME OVER

    Or... not...?

The scarves Squire and Fenne are wearing begin to glow... and...

FINAL EVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!! BLASTOISE AND DELPHOX COMETH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second Entei fight went pretty much the same as the first. After our 'victory' we go back to our normal Fennekin and Squirtle forms.

WAIT. WTF?! I THOUGHT I WAS PLAYING POKEMON. NOT DIGIMON. o_O

That game was suppose to come later...

    *coughs*

Anyway... everyone is shocked and we are eventually 'rescued' by Ampharos, Mawile and the others and we learn that Entei wasn't responsible for stone incidents.

After eating lunch (seriously...?) we return. To a scorching heat. We also return to the pokemon freaking out about the stone incidents. Plus we see a bunch of legendaries too. INCLUDING DIALGA. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID IN A PREVIOUS MYSTERY DUNGEON GAME *squee!*.

Anyway... more regular work. Even though most of our co-horts are now working on investigating the stone incidents. Most of it was okay.

    Until a certain one.

Let me inform all of you of something really quick. There are A LOT of references to previous Mystery Dungeon games in this one. Which I actually quite like. Not just to Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky either. There are references to Gates to Infinity as well. References in the form of pokemon from those games.

For example... the ridiculous job came in the form of Emolga to rescue Dunsparce with her in Electric Wasteland. GOD. WORST DUNGEON YET. I had to do it TWICE just to win.

I'M SERIOUSLY GETTING TIRED OF THIS GAME BEING THE NEW "THE ANSWER"

    *sighs*

    Oh well... I guess.

That's all I was able to do though.

    Next time:

A place called 'Showdown Mountain' and remember that spoiler I talked about earlier? Looks like I may or may not actually be legitimately approaching it now.

    ALL OF MY RAGE

    ALL OF IT

  4. So...

I have no idea how I survived that. Honestly, the game decided to be nice to me and I found a good chunk of stairs relatively quickly. So that probably had something to do with it.

Either way I made it through Mystical Forest.

Only to find a very 'petrified' Latios, then a 'petrified' Latias. As in THEY WERE FREAKING STATUES. Who could have done that in such a short amount of time?! o_O

Either way... a wall of flame appears and out pops...

    FREAKING ENTEI

    IS THIS THE 'FLAMING PHANTOM?!

GOODBYE SQUIRE AND FENNE. IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU. :(

This idiot seems to think we're the ones who did the petrifying. DUMBASS, DOES IT LOOK LIKE WE DID IT?! WE ARE CHILDREN, NOT LEGENDARIES, NOR HAVE SPECIAL POWERS.

Then... Archen shows up to save us and Entei leaves after finding out that we are part of the Expedition Society but threatens to not let us go so easily next time. I'M SURE WE WON'T ENCOUNTER HIM AGAIN SOON. ::S:

After all of that... we head back and report everything that happened. Looks like even Ampharos is afraid of Entei...

Either way... I do more work and try to pick harder ones so I can level up. Though I only go up by, like, one level. *sighs* :sigh:

Anyway, eventually, it's time for a Expedition Society 'outing' apparently and we prepare accordingly. After riding on Lapras THROUGH A FREAKING SEA STORM, we somehow arrive at our destination. A Fire Volcano.

Squire and Fenne are paired up with Buizel this time and Ampharos implores Buizel to protect them and to not fight Entei until the rest of them get to them. I'M SURE THAT TOTALLY WON'T HAPPEN. ::S:

It's a Fire area this time so Squire should do well here, however, I'm still quite badly under-leveled according to my walkthrough. Plus, there are some MAJOR bosses coming up that I am most certainly not confident that I can beat.

    *sighs*

I still hate grinding. TIME TO USE MY "THE ANSWER" TACTICS AGAIN I GUESS.

    Next time:

Fire Island Volcano. Can I survive the dungeon? CAN I SURVIVE THE BOSSES?!

    I just... don't know...
  5. Oh boy. I have quite a bit to talk about.

I make it through the dungeon and we arrive in Lively Town. It certainly is... lively. Get it? :derp:

Okay that was bad. Moving on...

After confirming it's actually Lively Town, we don't have the best start as we get threatened by a Krokorok who basically tries to mug us. OFF TO GREAT START I SEE.

But then... what looks like a mob of pokemon trample us. Then we recover and we are still being mug attempted. Then the mob comes around again. At this point the Krokorok gives up. Well... that was... something... o_O

Anyway... we explore the town and try to find the Expedition Society and do but no one's around. Until we find them. Apparently they're starving because their 'cook' ate all their food. WHAT IS HE A GLUTTON?!

Also, in their skirmish the Pokemon Nexus is destroyed. That... escalated quickly... :DFH:

    *sighs*

Either way we get food for them and eventually we inform them that we want to join. But they say we can't 'cause we're kids' THIS AGAIN. Luckily, a mysterious voice comes to our aid.

THE AMPHAROS COMETH. Anyway eventually we find out the previous Ampharos we met was actually the chief of the Expedition Society. Not that we didn't already know that. Either way, he basically null and voids his 'no children allowed' rule and we officially join the Expedition Society. Yay? :dunno:

Either way the other members are apparently Ampharos, Mawile, Buizel, Archen, Bunnelby, and Swirlix. Apparently there's one more and IT'S A FREAKING LEGENDARY. Specifically, Jirachi.

We're tasked with waking it up.

When we do. IT ATTACKS US. SERIOUSLY?!

    However...

    :omg:

I wasn't able to prepare for this, but somehow, I still pull off a victory.

Jirachi wakes up and fixes the Pokemon Nexus and then Squire and Fenne are tasked with managing it. I suppose this is what Fenne wanted... but... it's certainly not going to be easy... :sigh:

Eventually, after some regular work... we encounter Krokorok again and we're saved by Buizel but not before meeting Krokorok's 'boss' Krookodile who threatens us then leaves. How nice.

After more work... Archen offers to allow us to go with him somewhere to further the Pokemon Nexus. After he reluctantly buys us Lapras Liner passes... we head off.

We then see a scene with a Latios and Latias seemingly running from something. OH GOODIE.

Anyway... we end up in a place called the 'Air Continent' which Archen doesn't like for some reason. He should have paid attention to the passes he was getting then. :pff:

But then... we see the crash landing of two pokemon who are CLEARLY Latios and Latias. WELP. I CAN ALREADY SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING. :sigh:

Yep. We're checking it out. Despite something called the 'Flaming Phantom' which is rumored to be responsible for Pokemon turning into stone being rumored to be in the area. I'M SURE THIS WON'T END BADLY OR ANYTHING. ::S:

Either way... I'm severely underleveled for Mystical Forest according to my walkthrough but I HATE grinding. I guess I'm attempting it then.

BACK TO THIS GAME BEING "THE ANSWER" I GUESS.

    Next time:

Can I survive Mystical Forest? If I do, what will I find? Will I get a Game Over with all of us turning to stone?

    We'll see I guess...

    :dunno:
  6. Welp.

Somehow it didn't happen. It's possible the spoiler is for later in the game. Or maybe what I read was wrong? :dunno:

Either way... if it's true... SOMEONE IS NOT GOING TO BE A HAPPY CAMPER (Hint: IT'S ME)

We explore Revelation Mountain with Nuzleaf and he fools Hippopotas so we can explore it. We're only able to explore it for a little bit before we run into an area far more heavily guarded with the likes of Magnezone, Poliwrath, etc.

Well... that was a waste of time. I guess at least we tried? :sigh:

We return back to the village... and eventually...

We hear about suspicious pokemon outside the village with egg-shaped heads and they are communicating with blinking lights.

OH GREAT. JUST GREAT. I WAS ACTUALLY STARTING TO ENJOY THINGS YOU KNOW. YOU JUST HAD TO RUIN MY FUN DIDN'T YOU YOU STUPID ANNOYING BEHEEYEM?! :pff:

    *sighs*

Squire doesn't want to cause problems for the villagers so he contemplates leaving. He informs Fenne of all this and at first, Fenne is sad, but then, pretty much decides to leave the village with Squire. SERIOUSLY?! That is kind of nice of him though... o_O

We attempt to convince the adults, and not surprisingly, they don't want us leaving claiming it's 'too dangerous' and we can't 'cause we're kids.'

Apparently they forgot what we've already done... even Nuzleaf says no...

Eventually though... no options are left. Except to leave anyway. Great. We're just breaking all kinds of rules aren't we? But... it certainly would be better than causing major problems for the nice pokemon in Serene Village... :(

    Either way...

Right when we leave... we're 'seen off' by Deerling, Espurr, Goomy, Shelmet and even Pancham. Apparently Espurr was following us. Stalker much? o_O

Either way... we are even given a note from all of the adults praising us and wishing us luck. They couldn't just come up and say it themselves huh? They have to save face because they tried to stop us? I really don't see a problem here... but... this scene was kind of touching honestly.

Off to Lively Town I guess...

First with Sheer Mountain Range. The game is being ridiculous to me again and I'm losing a lot of Oran Berries and Elixirs. GUESS IT'S BACK TO BEING "THE ANSWER" AGAIN.

I somehow survive though. I'm not quite sure how either... ::S:

Looks like there's only one area left before Lively Town is reached.

    Next time:

Making our way to Lively Town. Will they really allow kids to join the Expedition Society? Seems like adults in this game are against 'kids' doing anything different or unique.

Well... not necessarily... consider the revelation of who the chief is... :derp:
  7. So... Ancient Barrow. Not too difficult honestly. I quite liked the music too. :smile2:

I make it to the half-way point and then eventually make it to the end.

The giant shadow looms overhead and Fenne continues to get close to fainting only to be snapped out of it by Deerling. Geez Fenne... :dunno:

Either way, the shadow reveals itself as FREAKING GIRATINA.

Then, all of a sudden, it offers to let us go if we give it Pancham and Shelmet's souls. Okay... um... I think everything that's happened to them up to this point is comeuppance enough. Luckily, Fenne quickly says no because they're friends. Wow. That's quite a statement considering everything those two did...

Either way... this eventually leads to Giratina fully revealing itself along with 4 Litwick cronies.

    WELP...

    LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!

This fight... wasn't too bad honestly. In the dungeon I managed to find 2 Barrage Emera's and gave them to Squire and Fenne so that helped plus I used my sleep status stuff too.

In the end I win. THESE CHILDREN JUST DEFEATED A FREAKING LEGENDARY.

    Or not...

It's eventually revealed that the legendary is a fake. An illusion created by a Psychic pokemon called Solosis. OH COME ON!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN ALLOW ME TO BASK IN MY GLORY GAME?!

    *sighs*

Either way it's also revealed that the Litwick have had to move from place to place because they've been scaring people because that's what they need for food and energy but they were struggling to do so until they met Solosis who helped reinvigorate their tactics with his psychic illusion-creating abilities and he helped them out. They created quite a mess just for this... :sigh:

But, not surprisingly, Fenne is willing to forgive them because he seems to think they aren't bad pokemon. Eventually, this pretty much leads to everyone else being willing to not only forgive them, but not tell the others in the village about them so they won't have to move again. Of course, the obvious condition was for them to help others when they do it. They quickly agree and give Pancham and Shelmet back. All's well that ends well.

Or not. Squire and Fenne are caught and Carracosta is quite angry. But Nuzleaf in surprisingly calm about it. Either way, Fenne is too tired so he ends up falling asleep, leaving Squire alone to take one of Carracosta's apparent 'famous lectures' THANKS A LOT FENNE.

*sighs* This of course leads to Squire being tired in the morning. Plus, Fenne can't assist us the next day due to being forced to clean the entire house as punishment. However, the other children apparently came clean with their parents as well and most of them got lectured as well. Honesty is the best policy I suppose. :dunno:

So I have to choose a temporary replacement for Fenne so I go with Espurr and complete an expedition which leads to a connection with Deerling, Goomy, Pancham, Shelmet, and Espurr. Yay? :dunno:

Fenne returns the next day and things return to normal. We also learn about a place called Revelation Mountain which is apparently sacred and has always been protected by everyone in the village and is also not to be gone to. However, Nuzleaf is curious what's there.

Eventually, this leads to Nuzleaf wanting to secretly explore it and telling Squire and Fenne about it. But there's another reason. It could lead to some truths about Squire, what happened to him, and why he got turned into a pokemon. Clearly, all of this has to be kept hush-hush. Fenne agrees because it's to help Squire and obviously Squire wants the truth as well.

Looks like we're ignoring clear warnings once again. WHICH I'M SURE WON'T HAVE CONSEQUENCES OR ANYTHING. ::S:

    Next time:

We Reach Out To The Truth at Revelation Mountain.

    But sometimes...

    The truth...

    Can hurt...

(P.S. I got spoiled. I'll reveal it when it's actually revealed to me. Hint: THERE'S A TRAITOR AMONGST US.)
  8. So the 'spookiness' (if you want to call it that...) continues.

Before I get to that the expeditions are pretty much all over the place. Some of them were easy and others were ridiculous and made me waste A LOT of Reviver Seeds. MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON THE DIFFICULTY GAME.

Anyway, this time Farfetch'd disappears and everyone freaks out. Eventually he's found and doesn't remember anything except 'blue flames.' I'M SURE THAT WON'T BE IMPORTANT LATER. ::S:

Eventually it's decided to shut the school down and not allow anyone to come in at night.

However that doesn't stop Pancham from gathering the kids together and daring them all to go to the school at night. Fenne is obviously reluctant but Pancham somehow 'forces' him into it. THIS GUY IS A JERK. SERIOUSLY. NO ONE HAS TO GO YOU KNOW.

Fenne wants to stay by Squire constantly so I reluctantly agree because it would have been jerkish to say 'No.'

Either way they all go to the school at night and sit at their regular seats. Pancham, being the idiot that he is, berates the ghosts quite a bit. Fenne ends up fainting early. Poor thing... :(

Anyway the berating gets the blue flames to show up and one by one everyone faints. When they awaken, they find Pancham, Shelmet, and Espurr missing.

ALSO THERE WAS A SILHOUETTE OF A POKEMON AND I KNOW WHO IT CLEARLY WAS. But we'll save the spoilers for the obvious later boss fight.

Anyway, Espurr shows how badass she is again by revealing that she didn't faint and was faking it to see what would happen. Apparently, the blue flames took Pancham and Shelmet away and dragged them into the Ancient Barrow. Which was locked up until now and everyone told us that we weren't allowed in.

YOU KNOW WHAT? NO. I REFUSE. THIS IS THEIR COMEUPPANCE. :pff:

    *sighs*

I don't have a choice... do I? They are jerks but we can't just leave them there to die. That wouldn't the 'right thing to do' I guess.

    *sighs* Still though... :dunno:

    Oh well... no choice clearly.

    Next time:

Welcome to the spooky Ancient Barrow. Which TOTALLY DOESN'T HAVE A LEGENDARY AT THE END OF IT OR ANYTHING. ::S:
  9. [IMG]

    THAT'S WHAT THIS GAME GETS.

    SERIOUSLY.

THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHO THEY WERE MESSING WITH.

I actually did try losing on purpose. But it kicked me to the next 'story thing' so I quit and restarted and went with my 'trick up my sleeve.'

    Alright everyone...

WELCOME TO LOSTSANITY'S SURE FIRE WAY TO BEAT SALAMENCE WITHOUT SLYVEON:

    :zebra:

    Here's what you need:

    1. At least 4 Blast Seeds

    2. Bring a lot of Tiny Reviver Seeds too. I had 8.

    3. Bring something to put the jerk to Sleep constantly. I used the Sleep Wand which I managed to gather quite a bit of. You can use Slumber Orbs if you have lots of those instead.

Start by trying to get the jerk to come right up to you. It took awhile but eventually he did. I only wasted 1 Reviver Seed.

    IMMEDIATELY PUT HIM TO SLEEP.

    Start abusing your Blast Seeds.

If he wakes up, just put him back to sleep and rinse and repeat and YOU WIN.

Of course, clearly, this only works if you have enough Blast Seeds and have something to put him to sleep with. If you don't have enough Blast Seeds... then just bring however many you do have. You might be able to get away with paralyzing him or confusing him but that still leaves the chance for him to hit you. Abuse Alliance attacks and just hope for the best. I might have gotten lucky because I actually had quite a good amount of Blast Seeds.

Feel free to post alternative methods to win. BUT I DID IT. I WON. BECAUSE I BEAT "THE ANSWER." :twi:

Anyway it is worth it. This guy joins you and he's FREAKING LEVEL 50. I AM NOT JOKING. WELP I THINK I JUST WON THIS GAME NOW.

That's too easy though so I might challenge myself and try not using him that much HOWEVER IF THIS GAME GETS RIDICULOUS AGAIN YOU BET I'M USING HIM.

Anyway we enjoy a good dinner at Fenne's and then Fenne and Carracosta come over for dinner with Squire and Nuzleaf the next day.

    YAY. SUMMER VACATION.

Oh wait, I'm a college graduate and I have a job now. There's no such thing for me anymore...

    Lucky... :(

Either way, I do more Expedition stuff and eventually we learn of a rumor that mysterious voices are heard at night at the school. Which the kids seem to think are ghosts. BECAUSE IT'S NOT GHOST TYPE POKEMON OR ANYTHING. ::S:

Either way we quickly learn and find out that Fenne doesn't do well with ghost stories. Which was shown quite prevalently to Pancham and Shelmet. GOOD JOB FENNE. :dunno:

We see the rumor first hand with Watchog's patrol of the school at night. OH GOD. DID HE JUST GET KIDNAPPED?!

I was playing the game late last night so that's all I did.

    Next time:

We're going to investigate the school at night and try to rescue Watchog... aren't we? :dunno:
  10. We go to Poliwrath River.

UGH. WORST DUNGEON IN THE GAME YET. I lost quite a bit of Reviver Seeds and Oran Berries in it. STUPID LUXIOS.

Looks like I was right though. This is the new "The Answer."

    *sighs*

Anyway I somehow survive long enough to make it to the end and fight the 3 Poliwrath and 1 Poliwag.

I ended up wasting both my Slumber Orbs and used a few sleep wands too. I'm starting to not like this game... :sigh:

I ran out of Oran Berries so I had to hope my Reviver Seeds would last until I won. Luckily they did.

I guess all that matters is that I won? :dunno:

We find Ampharos, who also saves Squire because he let his guard down, and return the Connection Orb.

Ampharos informs us that they aren't a member of the Expedition Society. OH REALLY?! ::S:

Well... all of a sudden... Fenne informs Ampharos that he wants to join the Expedition Society and make a map of the world. Ampharos compliments the dream. Then... all of a sudden... we're made 'Junior Expedition Society Members' and practically forced into it. Well... I guess it's okay... BECAUSE I'M TOTALLY SURE THAT THE TRUTH ABOUT SQUIRE WON'T BE REVEALED AS WE DO EXPEDITIONS.

Also... AMPHAROS ISN'T JUST A MEMBER OF THE EXPEDITION SOCIETY. HE'S ITS' CHIEF. As the scene shows after Fenne and Squire leave. Why am I not surprised? :derp:

Anyway... Ampharos also explains all the Expedition Society stuff about the Connection Orb and Expeditions and all that goodness. We rescue a Slyveon and also get extra connections by simply talking to an Azumarill. We also retrieve important items for a Vulpix from the Cave of Training. Nothing too ridiculous. YET. THAT'S THE KEYWORD.

That's all I accomplished. However... I was looking ahead in my walkthrough (because I like to prepare for what's to come okay?) and... THIS GAME IS DEFINITELY THE NEW "THE ANSWER" THERE'S NOT IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS ABOUT IT.

IS THIS GAME SERIOUS WITH THIS SALAMENCE BS?! HOW ARE YOU EXPECTED TO BEAT SOMETHING LIKE THAT THIS EARLY IN THE GAME?!

    *sighs*

Apparently my walkthrough wants me to lose on purpose so I can bring Sylveon with me. But if I can't have party members that are higher level than I am... how is that going to help? [IMG]

    *sighs*

Fine. I'd better not regret this. But I'm seriously not losing any items so I'm not bringing any with me. If this doesn't work... I may or may not have something else up my sleeve.

BECAUSE I BEAT "THE ANSWER." THIS GAME DOESN'T KNOW WHO IT'S MESSING WITH.

    Next time:

Welcome to the new Persona 3 FES "The Answer

    :trollestia:
  11. We learn about Alliances. Watchog tries to look tough but it doesn't go over so well with taking so many Alliance attacks from the 'sheriffs' (Magnezone, Magneton, and Magnemite) and then two more from Pancham, Shelmet, and Espurr.

Squire continues to be alone...

He is then questioned about where he came from... and... tries telling the truth. Not surprisingly, he's not believed. This furthers when a Budew goes missing and he remembers seeing it talking to Carracosta and Hippopotas about the Honey season and how it's supposed to taste really good and be revitalizing. There's actually another reason why Budew went and not just to taste it though.

Either way Squire is determined to go after it, even by himself. However, Fenne comes rushing out and says he's believed by him. That didn't take long. :dunno:

Anyway Nectar Meadow is explored and eventually Budew is found. Unfortunately the Beedrill and Combee get the wrong idea and think he's a honey thief. Seriously? He's a child, younger than even Squire and Fenne you fools.

Luckily Squire and Fenne come to save the day and this eventually leads to the next boss fight.

    *uses Slumber Orb*

What? I somehow gathered 4. :dunno:

Either way doing this and using a Sleep Wand pretty much lead to victory.

They try to be persistent but they are stopped by their 'queen.' Vespiquen. GEE HOW SHOCKING. :derp:

Anyway after more conversing, Budew states it wants the honey because its mother (Roselia) has been really tired and seeming weak recently. Vespiquen compliments Budew for being brave and... gives it some!! :smile2:

All's well that ends well and Roselia thanks Squire and Fenne for saving Budew and gives some hefty rewards. :twi:

Then we have a moment with Fenne that eventually leads to him wanting to be our friend. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THIS GAME IS LEGITIMATELY GIVING ME A CHOICE HERE?! COME ON. THERE'S REALLY NO OTHER OPTION.

    *says yes*

Our friendship is shown with scarves that apparently came with Fenne when he was found by Carracosta WHICH I'M SURE TOTALLY ISN'T FORESHADOWING EITHER. WE TOTALLY WON'T FIND THE REAL PARENTS. ::S:

The honey makes Roselia feel better... but... Fenne and Squire ditched school to do the rescue so they are reluctant to go to school and this is confirmed as they hide and see Watchog waiting for them to lecture them. The game really gave me a choice here but the only proper thing to do was to take the punishment head on. However, Espurr distracted Watchog and Squire and Fenne get in.

The Watchog lecture appears to get ready to happen anyway but is stopped by Simipour and they are praised instead. Even Pancham and Shelmet apologize!! They're still jerks though.

Also... we see a foreboding scene where a Wailord became a statue. Literally. Turned to stone. I'M SURE THIS ISN'T FORESHADOWING OR ANYTHING. ::S:

Either way an Ampharos comes to town and it's... bumping into everything? Um... okay...? o_O

Eventually it drops something but we can't give it back until after school so we try to do that but the weirdo can't be found. Kecleon informs us that apparently it's called a 'Connection Orb' or something and that only Expedition Society members normally have them.

We are then told by a Raticate where to find Ampharos.

That was all I accomplished this time.

    Next time:

We head back into The Abyss of Time... I MEAN A DUNGEON. I'M TOTALLY STILL NOT COMPARING THIS GAME TO THE RIDICULOUSNESS THAT WAS "The Answer" ::S:

To give the item back. Will we succeed in yet another boss fight? We shall see... :dunno:
  12. More school. I'm still somewhat expecting Persona stuff to occur but it never does.

A field trip into a dungeon apparently. An Espurr acts as "support."

Do I even need to say it anymore? Was Nintendo inspired by Persona or something? :dunno:

Either way Squire with Fenne and Goomy. Goomy struggles to keep up. I'M SURE THIS ISN'T FORESHADOWING OR ANYTHING. ::S:

We make it to the flags first but instead of searching for Goomy, who is now missing, we decided to grab the flag and go back instead.

Not surprisingly, we get reprimanded by all for it. Goomy is found though.

Fenne asks if they're annoying. I said no, but for some reason, this still seemed to lead to what looked like a 'falling out' between Squire and Fenne as they stop walking with us to school. Alone again...

Well... it might be better if there wasn't a Social Link. It would have broken if this was Persona.

The next dungeon we're introduced to emerets and looplets that apparently only work in dungeon that increase varying things. Something new huh? This was actually somewhat interesting and, if done strategically, will clearly help in future boss fights. One in particular called 'Barrage' that may have a move hit twice. I'm going to go ahead and assume these things will be my saving grace in the later game.

Squire ended up with Deerling and Espurr this time. Not too difficult and we were first again because Fenne and Pancham couldn't get along. Totally not surprising. :sigh:

Afterwards Deerling and Goomy notice us walking home alone so they walk with us. MORE SOCIAL LINKS?! Not really. They tell us what they think about Fenne which seems to be the general opinion of them being 'okay' but has a tendency to do reckless things and get others dragged into it. We realize that Fenne doesn't seem to get along that well with everyone else. Yikes...

That was pretty much it. Except for this mysterious, clearly evil, voice boasting about feelings of discontent or something. I don't recall any legendaries feeding off negative emotions but I guess we'll probably find out who that was eventually. :dunno:

    Next time:

Combination attacks are introduced and yet another Pokemon goes missing which may or may not lead to the reuniting of Fenne and Squire.

I still think this is another "The Answer"

  13. Hi guys. Did you miss me? I bet you didn't.

Either way I finished Yo Kai Watch and started up Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. Which shall be my new thought/experience blog thing.

So... the personality quiz. I tried to answer it honestly, but, most of the questions were situations I don't think I'd ever find myself in. I was pretty much just hoping that it wouldn't give me a crap pokemon.

What did I get you ask?

    Squirtle.

Well... it can Mega Evolve... so...

    *says yes*

I'm horrible with names so I just modified the Pokemon name and name it "Squire" :dunno:

    Then the partner...

Riolu. That can Mega Evolve too... but...

    *says no*

What? I didn't want it. I chose Fennekin. It was my starter in X and it never really failed me. Hopefully I won't live to regret this decision. ::S:

    Pokemon world.

Squire's a Pokemon and freaks out about it and has no memory. Same old Mystery Dungeon beginning. Except for the Beheeyem. THEY HECK. WHY ARE THEY ATTACKING ME?! I DID NOTHING TO THEM.

    *running away*

We practically cry to a wandering Nuzleaf for help. He reluctantly helps us and... YAY THE DUNGEONS HAVE BEGUN. Introductory ones as always.

Basically it gets to the point where Nuzleaf is mad we involved him. DUDE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEIR ATTACKING ME. JUST HELP.

Then, of course, we get left alone by Nuzleaf. THANKS MAN. Eventually though, he caves with our 'baby-doll eyes' and offers for us to stay at his house. Not like there are any other options...

Welcome to Serene Village. Nuzleaf says something about... school?! Your joking right? He's not joking... is he? :sigh:

So... while he does that we hear creepy noises and shadows and go investigate BECAUSE THAT'S A GOOD IDEA. :DFH:

We meet our partner. 'Fenne' in this case (again I'm bad with names okay?) They reminded me of Pinkie Pie at first. Really freaking hyper and wouldn't let Squire get a word in edge wise. I'm shown around town. Until a somewhat angry mob shows up and chases Fenne. WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?! :dunno:

However... trouble is afoot, as always, as apparently a Shelmet and a Pancham bullied a Goomy into going into another dungeon. It gets to the point where we offer to go in after him. I'M SURE THIS CAN'T POSSIBLY GO WRONG OR ANYTHING.

Well... it did. Sort of. I got defeated by a freaking FURFROU. I mean... I had a Tiny Reviver Seed so it didn't matter... but still. THIS IS THE NEW "THE ANSWER" ISN'T IT?!

I somehow rescue Goomy and everyone is shocked. Nuzleaf is mad but then doesn't care.

    I go to school.

Okay... um... why is EVERY game I play reminding me of Persona?! There's even a Principal and Vice Principal and we're asked to not be troublemakers and the Watchog Vice Principal says something about the 'bane of his existence' GEE I WONDER WHO THAT COULD BE?

It's Fenne. Because we're knocked out by them as they come running in late and I'm ran into. We awake in the Nurse's Office and come back out to a lecture and a Farfetch'd teacher counting Mareep. We're hounded by the class and then the Farfetch'd gets mad. Then he continues counting Mareep. I was legitimately waiting for the Persona option to stay awake in class. Because that's always what I do in Persona. :dunno:

    WHAT'S NEXT SOCIAL LINKS?!

We even walk home with Fenne. *waits for Social Link to form*

Hmm. Guess not. Still though. We get hounded by Pancham and Shelmet about us thinking we're tough. Uh no. I don't think that. I never thought that. Apparently they're trying to get us to go through a tougher dungeon and then they'll admit we're tough. I don't care what you think of me. Seriously I don't. Fenne keeps getting yelled at too about it not involving him but he'll tag along forcefully I'm sure.

    That's all for now.

    Next time:

More dungeons. More ridiculousness. The first boss. Will I survive? Well... considering this is apparently hard... I don't know.

Is this the new "The Answer"?

If it is... I'm in for a LONG game...

  14. Pretty much the title.

Honestly though... I swear that there was stuff added to it that wasn't in the original DS game. But I could be wrong. Once again it's been a REALLY LONG time since I played the DS game so I may have to go back and play it again to see.

For example... the Castle Oblivion part. As well as near the ending where they showed the Birth By Sleep characters. I don't remember seeing that in the DS game. But again, I could just not remember it.

Either way it got pretty interesting near the end.

Something is "sleeping" within Sora that must be "awakened." This does happen... but... not until Dream Drop Distance.

There is one more thing I have to say though. However... it's 'controversial' so it will be treated as such. Which means read the below at your own risk. I don't want to hear any crap from anyone if they choose to read it.

My Challenge has not only been 'completed,' but, I pretty much DOUBLED up on it.

At first all I said was I had to complete 1.5 HD Remix and 2.5 HD Remix. But then I added the extra 'If I beat ANY optional bosses I can declare the challenge complete'

I DID BOTH. I completed 1.5 and 2.5 AND beat SEVERAL Optional Bosses.

    Which means the following:

I NOW DO NOT HAVE TO WATCH EQUESTRIA GIRLS 3: FRIENDSHIP GAMES. EVER.

Please accept and respect my decision and the fact that I completed the necessary 'challenge.' Any subsequent annoying messages will be responded to by me simply pointing to the completed challenge in question.

As far as the challenge for Equestria Girls 4... well...

With the Final Fantasy XV release date confirmed for September 30, chances are high it'll be that. It's still possible it'll be something else though. I'll inform everyone when I make the final decision.

    So... yep...

That's all everyone. I'll see you for my next thought/experience blog!!

Yes. I'm going to do one for 2.8 HD Remix. Why wouldn't I? :dunno:

    Coming Soon:

DREAM DROP DISTANCE REVENGE!!!!!!!! Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Remix thoughts/experiences

    Next time:

Mysterious Mystery Dungeons!! Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon thoughts/experience
  15. So... Final Episode...

Aqua needs a safe place for Ven, and Ven 'suggests' a place by somehow still using his keyblade to create a light portal even though he's suppose to be in a vegetative comatose state. o_O

That place... turns out to be the destroyed Land of Departure.

We're told that some 'ancestors' created a 'trick' to protect the Land of Departure if something happened to it. Which something clearly did.

    HI CASTLE OBLIVION.

Either way... Aqua leaves to search for Terra and finds him in Radiant Garden. Unfortunately... it's still Terra-Xehanort.

OH. MY. GOD. WORST FIGHT IN THE ENTIRE GAME. FREAKING RIDICULOUS AS HELL.

Final Result: 5 attempts to achieve victory. :sigh:

Well... I guess all that matters is that I won. Terra tries to fight back and falls in a darkness pool and Aqua of course chases him. She eventually sacrifices her armor, or something? To be totally honest, I'm still not sure what Aqua sacrificed (feel free to clarify it for me) but her armor got Terra-Xehanort back to Radiant Garden where he's found by Ansem the Wise and he introduces himself... as Xehanort. YEP. TOTALLY WORTH IT AQUA. :dunno:

Either way we see Aqua in the World of Darkness and she wants to give up but Terra and Ventus' keyblades save her from the numerous Darksides and keep her going.

    "There's always a way"

    FINAL CREDITS!!

We also saw Sora and Riku with Sora crying. This eventually leads to Ventus' heart going into Sora. This does explain... a lot. I guess? ::S:

That was pretty much it. Secret Episode is too ridiculous to get in Standard Mode and it's 10 times more ridiculous then the Terra-Xehanort fight anyway.

I started the Re: Coded Cutscene Extravaganza too but there's not really anything to talk about there because it's pretty much the same as 358/2 Days in 1.5 HD Remix. A Cutscene Extravaganza.

This means don't expect another update until I finish that because there's LITERALLY nothing to talk about when it comes to that. :dunno:

Final Part. Re: Coded Cutscene Extravaganza. Teasing for Dream Drop Distance. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Remix Preparation.
