FINAL SHOWDOWN. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AQUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE MR. NICE VEN. Ven vs Vanitas Part 1 Annoying but I come out victorious. Welp... that played right into the jerks hands... Vanitas... LOOKS LIKE SORA?! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! Ven vs Vanitas (inside Ventus) Part 2 More Annoying. However Shotlock abuse, Ars Arcanum, and Salvation lead to victory. The last part wasn't all that difficult either. The "X-Blade" is broken, which also does... something to Ven. What did it do? Well... I know what it did... but... technically your not supposed to find out until Aqua's story... so... who knows? CREDITS. RESTART. FINAL CHARACTER. (Aqua) Aqua isn't exactly told any shocking information. However we do get to see Eraqus 'order' her to keep an eye on Terra, and then, bring Ven back. Isn't that a little much for one person? Not like there's any choice anyway... Next time: We go world browsing with Aqua. Starting with Castle of Dreams (Cinderella). How will I fare playing as Aqua? I suppose we'll soon find out...
I gather all the items/stickers I missed and go to the Keyblade Graveyard... 'Friends Forever' huh? I hope so Ven... I hope so... however... events don't point towards that... So... it wasn't too ridiculous. I have pretty good commands like Ars Arcanum, Time Splicer, Wind Raid, etc. I make my way to the 'final rest point' This is it... Vanitas showdown incoming... Next time: Can I complete another characters story? Will I survive the final boss fights with Ven? We shall soon see...
Wow. I have... quite a bit to talk about. So I'll just get started. Ven finds the "shooting star" only to discover... that it's Mickey's Star Shard. That's... bad isn't it? Things go from bad to worse when Hook takes it and Tinkerbell and wants Peter Pan to meet him in Mermaid Lagoon. We arrive and... CANNON FIRE!! Wow... annoying... but I somehow get through it and eventually confront Hook. FIGHT!!!!!!!! Somewhat annoying but I come out victorious. All's well that ends well and Ven inserts his wooden keyblade into the chest. He also get's whisked away to The Mysterious Tower by the Star Shard. OMG. DONALD AND GOOFY. Wait... HOW COME THEY DON'T REMEMBER VEN?! This is a MAJOR loophole and I'm confused now. Anyway... Ven meets Yen Sid and eventually Mickey is found... hurt. Welp. He rescued us. TIME TO RESCUE HIM. Because that's what friends do? He's in the Badlands. Ven finds him. ENTER XEHANORT. NO. NOT YOU. The truth about Ven is revealed... so ridiculous... and sad... Ven won't create the "X-Blade" GOOD. YOU LOSE. Or... not... Ven and Mickey get blown away and Ven confronts Eraqus for the truth. WELP WE KNOW WHERE THIS GOES. ERAQUS ATTACKS. SAVED BY TERRA. DESTINY ISLANDS. I think I can't keep up anymore... Ven won't fight Vanitas. He threatens to "choke the life out of Terra and Aqua" RIGHT. LIKE THEY WOULD LOSE TO YOU. Looks like it's Ven Endgame time. Next time: I finish things up in other worlds with stuff I missed. Endgame approaches. Am I ready for it? Time will tell... P.S.: THAT'S RIGHT AWAY YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *throws bombs at everyone*
Ven arrives in Neverland somehow unconscious with the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell looking over him. Nice way to introduce yourself... He then finds out that they saw a shooting star and are searching for it. Ven... being Ven... wants to tag along. The Unversed are mediocre I guess. Sometimes I do well other times I don't. Eventually Peter Pan is met and he says he saw Captain Hook with a Treasure Chest and offers to go get it with everyone. Tinkerbell is annoyed but the Lost Boys act like they weren't doing anything and just go with him. Wow. ADD much? Peter offers this to Ven as well but he wants to search for the shooting star. AT LEAST SOMEONE'S DEDICATED. Once again though that was about all I was able to do. Also I've started only being mediocre at Command Board again. Oh well. Next time: Investigating the "Shooting Star"
I explore more of the ship and fight more Unversed to Mkaukau. Eventually the Jellyfish... thing is re-encountered and Ven prepares to take it on. BUT NOT BEFORE STITCH SHOWS UP. Yup. Totally knew this was going to happen. Ven & Stitch vs Jellyfish Unversed!! Wow... this was... pathetically easy... Anyhow... Stitch is mad because his Wayfinder was broke. Then Gantu (saw his name in the game) disrupts them and thinks Stitch was modified by Ven somehow. Um... your an idiot Gantu. They're just friends!! Stitch and Ven make a run for it and Stitch ends up hyperdriving away but not before shouting out Ven's name. Aww... I return to Deep Space to get more treasure chests and that was pretty much all I was able to accomplish. Next time: I get that treasure I missed in Disney Town and we get to see Neverland again. Except with Ven of course.
Ven rushes to fight the Unversed. However... there are... A LOT. Uh oh... Herc to the rescue!! Of course... This was... somewhat annoying but I got through it. Zack shows up and it seems to be unknown who won the match. However, Herc left sooner so that apparently means he will be the one Phil trains. Even though Ven figures out Phil was never going to stop training Herc. Herc and Zack want Ven to visit again. Due to what is going to happen... that's... not possible unfortunately Either way I move on to Deep Space. YAY MKAUKAU. GIANT JELLYFISH!! SPACE FIGHT!! Also annoying. But I survive. Stitch was somehow captured but escapes. The huge guy (can't remember his name) thinks Ven in the intruder. Ven tries to explain and he is proven when the computer warns of the monster attack. Of course the jerk doesn't care. FINE. MAYBE I WON'T HELP YOU THEN. Ven is helping anyway... isn't he...? He meets Stitch and Stitch says his name, Terra's and Aqua's. Ven is shocked. Stitch also has a Wayfinder-lookalike item. Stitch wants to follow but Ven says it's too dangerous. WOW. THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR. I WONDER WHERE WE'VE HEARD THAT...? Next time: Fight with a large jellyfish. With more help whether Ven likes it or not. This game is seriously the best.
I gather the rest of the treasures in Disney Town. Except one which I will come back to once I have dash commands again. Next up... Olympus Coliseum. Right away Zack wants to prove himself to Phil so he'll train him. Unversed conveniently appear causing Ven to jump in as well. Pretty fun actually. The games are coming up and Herc, Zack, and Ven want to enter. However... Zack takes the final spot. Awkward... Ven is sad but decides to train with Hercules, then, cheer them on in the matches. Obviously it ends with Herc vs Zack but more monsters (more Unversed) have appeared once again. Ven says he'll handle it as their match is too important. Also... apparently Ven's purpose has now changed to just making friends. What happened to Terra and Aqua being his friends? Admittedly they are kind of shunning him and telling him to go home, plus they're all fighting... but... the game is certainly trying to make it seem like Ven is lonely. Will you be Ven's friend? Next time: Ven takes on a large number of Unversed by himself but ends up with unexpected help whether he wants it or not.
You guys get this first because Canterlot.com is still down. Don't you feel special now? Anyway... Ven continues searching for Terra and eventually finds him. The same scene from Terra's story. Ven will be there when Terra needs him. Okay...? Ven runs to tell Aqua and Aqua chases after him but tells Ven to go home because it's "too dangerous" Apparently she's ignoring what Ven has gone through already. Ven then meets Axel and Saix. I mean Lea and Isa. I suppose this is suppose to explain why Axel likes Roxas? Either way I get a better keyblade out of it, so yay? BTW... I started sucking on the 100 Acre Wood Command Board again. I seriously hate that one. *coughs* We arrive in Disney Town next to "Captain Justice" trying to help solve Ven's problem... which is only wanting to know what's going on. Then he wants Ven to "vote" for him. YUP. NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL. Then something is wrong with the Ice Cream recipe maker so Ven tries to help "fix" it. THIS MINI GAME. I HATE IT SO MUCH. However... I somehow get the hang of it and complete the required "song" on my third attempt. NEVER. AGAIN. Disney Town is complete already? That was... fast... Well... not really. I need to gather the treasures there. Also I have a new Command Board so maybe I'll stop sucking now. Hopefully. Next time: Disney Town treasure roundup with Ven.
Trinity Armor is encountered once again. This time with Ven. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but honestly, I did do far better on this attempt than with Terra. Once again it's probably because I have experience with this game. So it went down relatively easily. Once again Terra, Aqua and Ven have their 'falling out' and Terra leaves. Ven is mad at Aqua as well. *sighs* As Ven roams around some more, he encounters a child Zexion (Ienzo apparently) and saves him from Unversed before being thanked by Vexen (Even) who then states that he thinks that it is their destiny to cross paths again. I'M SURE THAT'S TOTALLY NOT FORESHADOWING OR ANYTHING. That's about all I really have to talk about this time unfortunately. Next time: Why Axel likes Roxas.
Ven travels to a world simply called "???" I'M SURE THAT'S NOT OMINOUS OR ANYTHING. He meets back up with 'The Masked Boy' from The Land of Departure who once again says that Terra will be different. Then, he shows a Keyblade. Well then... FIGHT!!!!!!!! So um... supposedly this was supposed to be hard. But I did relatively okay. It was more than likely my previous experience. Though the cutscene made it seems like I was losing. NOPE I WAS WINNING GAME. Whatever. Eventually, Ven is in serious trouble. Luckily, Mickey comes in and saves the day. Well... at least the story isn't over? Ven & Mickey vs Vani--- Masked Boy GO!!!!!!!!!! Yeah... not any different. Susceptibility to Zero Gravity helps TREMENDOUSLY and it was a little less dodge heavy with the extra help that the jerk would sometimes try to attack. Either way I win. Mickey introduces himself and explains the Star Shard. Which, of course, activates and throws Ventus to Radiant Garden. OH GOODIE. Ven arrives and sees Mickey going off somewhere so he follows. The enemies are once again annoying. Especially the Mandrakes. Somehow I survive though. Then we get to see non-Nobody Organization 13 members in their human forms. Specifically Xaldin, Lexaeus, and Vexen (I know they have human names but I don't know them by heart and I'm too lazy to look them up. Vexen's is Even. That's about all I know. ) Ven leaves to chase after the Trinity Armor head and eventually rescues Scrooge McDuck from it who impedes Ven on his chase by wanting to reward him. That's nice and all... but that thing is trouble you know? Either way Ven receives the Disney Town passes. He continues chasing the Trinity Armor head and meets Merlin who says something about unlocking some of his power. Which is really only that annoying 100 Acre Wood Command Board. So I oblige and get it because I got it before and there's no reason to ignore it even though it's an annoying Command Board. That's all I got done this time. Next time: Trinity Armor with Ven possibly. Maybe I'll do better than how I did with Terra? Honestly though... I'm not sure. We'll see I suppose.
We arrive in Enchanted Dominion (Sleepy Beauty) and immediately Ven is astounded by Aurora's beauty. He is confronted by the 3 fairies (whose names I don't remember) and is told that Aurora's heart was taken. (THANKS TERRA ) Ven is somehow able to convince them that they can get it back. So they make their way towards Maleficient's castle in order to do so. The fairies help eliminate the barrier and they enter the castle. The henceman there are pretty freaking weak. I swear. Ven has the best lines so far. "Ten-sion! No sleeping on the job!" That fight was fun. Not too difficult either. I roam around, fighting and collecting treasures until eventually Aurora's heart is released and we see the meeting between her and the Prince (Sleeping Beauty one) Maleficient is then confronted and Ven finds out that it was Terra that released Aurora's heart but he doesn't believe it. THE ENCOUNTER RETURNS. The fight against Maleficient. Honestly... it wasn't really that hard. As long as you get to the fairy circle when Maleficient does the annoying "sleep" mist spell and attack when you get a chance and abuse Shotlock, it's not that difficult. For me it wasn't anyway. I had a Cure just in case but I never had to use it. Just me though. AQUA TO THE RESCUE!! She reminds Ven that Terra wouldn't do bad things and tries to get Ven to go home but Ven refuses and continues his search for Terra. He eventually sees the Masked Boy from Land of Departure and decides to chase after him. WHICH I'M TOTALLY SURE WON'T END BADLY OR ANYTHING. Next time: The first 'difficult' boss fight in Ven's story. The fight with 'The Masked Boy.' (a.k.a. Vanitas) Will I survive? I suppose we'll find out...
Ven gathers the rest of the items for Cinderella's dress while also gathering more treasures and becoming over-leveled (I'm already in the 14 range ) and is told by Jaq that one more item is needed. A Pearl. Which, of course, just so happens to be right in front of a sleeping Lucifer. So, in something that reminds me of Tom and Jerry, Ven attempts to retrieve said Pearl without waking the cat. However, the cat awakens and Jaq saves Ven from a terrible fate. The only problem is that Jaq ends up in trouble instead. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Luckily, Ven rushes to his aide. "Time to play cat!!" *"plays" with cat (and by "play" I obviously mean FIGHT) * This was... freaking easy. Ragnarok did most of the damage and then I just had to hit him a few times and then beat him with Fire. The cat runs away (THAT'S RIGHT YOU BETTER RUN) and Cinderella's dress is made. Jaq asks what Ven's dream is and he states that he wants to be a Keyblade Master (which is apparently the same as Aqua and Terra's dream) All's well that ends well as the world is completed. Next time: We move on to 'The Silent Forest' a.k.a. The Sleeping Beauty world. What will this entail? I guess we'll all find out together!!
Ven arrives in Castle of Dreams... and immediately gets trapped somehow. He's also way smaller. Mouse sized. It's almost adorable. Almost. Until the part where he's 'rescued' by Cinderella and she states he's the 'weirdest mouse she's ever seen.' REALLY CINDERELLA?! REALLY?! *sighs* I have to admit though... I LOVE Jaq. He's probably the best Cinderella character and possibly my favorite Disney character. He's just... cool. I can't really explain it. I just like him. Cinderella is forced to constantly work by jerk step sisters and step mother so it's up to Jaq and Ven to help finish making her dress. Why do I feel like I'm working for Rarity all of sudden? I'm not even getting paid for this... *obliges anyway* The Unversed are getting slightly more annoying, but nothing I can't handle. I gather a few dress items before I had to stop due to time constraints because I wanted to watch something yesterday night. Oh well. Next time: Hopefully I'll finish up getting dress items and I'll get to rid a cat like a bull. Or something.
Ven continues trying to prove that Terra isn't a jerk. Yeah... good luck with that... He runs into a huge Tree Monster/Unversed. OH GOODIE. FIRST BOSS FIGHT!! It was... not that difficult. I don't know if it was my previous experience with this game already (likely) or if I just got somewhat lucky (also likely) either way abuse of Shotlock pretty much won me this. Ven runs into an old lady who states that Terra nagged her about someone named 'Xehanort' with his 'key sword' and made it seem like Ven was doing the same. WELP. WE KNOW WHO THIS IS. Ven is sad then leaves. I return to the world to get extra treasures and get Ven to level 6. That's good... right? Either way that's all for Dwarf Woodlands. I did more Command Board stuff and started sucking again. Looks like the Cinderella/Castle of Dreams world is next. Next time: Ven the MOUSE?!
Ven begins his 'runaway' status by visiting Dwarven Woodlands. Or whatever it's called. The Snow White world. He quickly becomes enamored when he sees the seven Dwarves. THIS ISN'T GOING TO BECOME AN ONGOING ISSUE... IS IT VEN?! It is... isn't it? *sighs* He chases after them, fighting Unversed along the way. Also... my Command Board skills have obviously improved. I'm winning more games in the beginning Land of Departure Command Board then I did with Terra. Anyway he enters the mine and immediately gets accused of being a jewel thief. Awkward... He chases down the Dwarves and 'fights' them just so they will talk with him. YES. THIS IS HOW YOU HANDLE THINGS. Once all Dwarves are found all Ven wanted is if they've seen Terra. Is this a recurring early theme for all characters? Terra searches for Xehanort, Ven searches for Terra, and Aqua searches for... Ven possibly? Either way they haven't seen him so Ven is told that there are more people at a nearby castle and he is constantly accused of being a jewel thief so he leaves. He eventually runs into a seemingly injured Snow White and 'rescues' her. CUE RIDICULOUS ESCORT MISSION. SERIOUSLY. IT WAS RIDICULOUS. But the 3rd time was the charm for me for clearing it. UGH. THAT WAS ANNOYING. I HOPE IT'S THE ONLY ESCORT MISSION FOR VEN. *calms down* I'm approaching the first boss. Which seems to be a large tree. Which means there's only one way to handle this... BURN IT TO THE GROUND. *coughs* What? I'm not an arsonist. I swear. Next time: We infuriate hippies and tree huggers everywhere by burning a large tree monster down.
