This blog entry had to be delayed because of a long night of study and my transition from Reynosa to Monterrey which was yesterday. Now lets continue. The past week was fun yet worrying. Other than the subject that had failed, I was concerned with another one which had me checking my grades every hour of the day to see if I passed or not. Finally on Tuesday I saw that I got a 71 or C+. I was so relieved that I wasn't going to come back on Friday. As such I spent the rest of the week enjoying E3 and the many reactions and responses from the internet. It was so awesome. I also spent time playing GOW 3 with my little brother. By the end of the week he would constantly tell me that he didn't want me to leave. How affectional of him. I didn't want to leave either but what can you do when you fail a subject that you had hopes of passing in the first place? Go and present it again. How else. Speaking of which I just came back from school and I can clearly say that I'll pass. I'd be dumbstrucked if I didn't. Now all that remains is to pay for summer school and it starts next Monday. Until then I'm free to do whatever I want. I'll start by going back to sleep and dream about the possum kingdom.
Wasn't there an option around here that auto saved my text? No? Dang it. I wrote quite a lot and I accidentally hit a link. Lost it all As I said, I have only one week of vacation. E3 starts Tuesday with nintendo bringing us a mayor direct for their lack of a big conference. I failed a subject and have to take it again on the 17th. If it wasn't for that I would have had a few more days of vacation. There's also another subject that I don't if I passed yet. Summer school starts on the 24th and inscriptions start on the 19th. Short vacation but I do it to finish quickly. Anything else...no. That's sums up what I wrote. Finishing it with a bitter sweet symphony
Its past midnight. Everyone's asleep and I'm just getting started. Well everypony, last week was one heck of a week. Fate was on my side. You see there was a project that we had to turn in on Tuesday. We had someone take care of it for us but it turned out that he didn't do anything. Stuck with other school projects and tests. It looked like it was all over for that subject. segundas for sure then I told my comrade Javi about it. He too was busy turning in other projects that very same day and didn't know that we were screwed because our teammate didn't turn in anything. So we both went to talk with the professor and luckily, he gave us a second chance. As such, I had to cancel some get-togethers with friends on Wednesday aka my birthday because of that. Either way I had fun on my birthday. Friday morning I came back home to Reynosa. Rest & Relaxtion to a small degree. I'm going back to Monterrey tomorrow. I have unfinished business to attend to I'll end my post here. I need to sleep well in order to wake early for my departure.
School's over...for now. Now comes exam week. 2 tremendous weeks of nothing but waiting to go present the exam on time scheduled. But I'm not here to talk about being worried for tomorrow and the day after that. I'm here to tell how wonderful this week has been. At the start of the week, I went to get myself a haircut. Shaved it all off with the number 1. Big shock to everyone around me. Everyone kept asking if I lost a bet but it was just to change my look. Besides, it's hot around here. Plus I don't normally comb my hair. As the week went by I started getting a feeling of change around the house. My brother has become less hostile. After that talk that we had, he has acted a lot more friendly. My car hasn't given me anymore trouble since that day. The rear mirror fell off and today I finally decided to fix it. I hope it stays longer this time. Yesterday I went to a friend's house to work out a school project that is due for this Tuesday. Like always, we would just fool around and talk about other things but we did get the project finished. Somewhat. Today was the best day. Not just of the week but perhaps the whole year. A few of you may know, there are brony meetups here in Monterrey almost every month. Today was that day. I arrived and was given a great Birthday surprise. They made me a cake saying happy birthday with applebloom on it. ! Here's a pic I took: Spoiler: We've made cake Karm is my name on facebook. Everyone knows me by that name I took my Applebloom plushie I was so surprised. Never have I ever received a customized cake. Home made too. While there, we watched a few episodes and chatted. So theres that everypony. Now I would like to have, for my birthday, is a trip to Kashmir
2 weeks later and Lyon is back with everypony. I actually had a good story to tell from last week but I was in some car trouble that left me stranded for a few days. It wasn't as severe as you may imagine. I had a cousin come by to help me get my car to his house. Which was closer than where I lived. I wasn't alone that day. I was with my friends. We got together to go eat at a chinese buffet. After eating til our stomachs burst, it was time to go when suddenly the car didn't want to start. We did with whatever knowledge we had to try to get it started to no avail. Pushing it wouldn't start it either. It was raining that day so it only hindered the situation quite a bit. I had only a few options: 1. Call my brother and hear his crap about selling my car. 2. Call a tow truck and pay the fee to getting me home. Which was out of my budget. and 3. Call my cousin and see if we could get to a solution. Option 3 was the best of the three. It was then that we came to the solution of towing my car to his house. A quick stop at a local wal-mart to buy rope + the rope tying skills of my friend Edgar and we were good to go. All that happened on Sunday. On Monday I was on the hunt for a mechanic. Luck was on my side that day when a next door neighbor just so happened to have one. After he finished fixing their car I showed him mine. He had a pretty good idea on what the problem was and had to go get the necessary parts to replace. So I stayed waiting at my aunt's house and it wasn't until Tuesday that the mechanic came by. It was raining hard on Monday so I could only imagine that it kept him from coming by. A quick fix and my car was back to its ol self. The platino wasn't making contact which explained why it wouldn't turn on. I wanted to post this on the day upon coming back home but later decided to wait for the weekend. Just to give this post more content. Even before all that there was more I wanted to type down about my brother. I feel better than I was that week so I won't type anything about it. As for this recent week. My Dad came over. He came over because a doctor needed his help in a surgical procedure in a nearby hospital. My dad, brother and me, had a talk about how my brother would be leaving to Houston in August and that I should continue staying here. That's that. Finally to finish this blog entry, I bought some new shoes. One more week of school and its almost vacation. Hopefully all will go well. I also hope that the weather would finally get normal. Which would make things very hot and dry. Good thing I'm hot blooded.
One month left. I can see it all gone in a day's time. Oh what more nonsense can I write down this time. Lately I've been unmotivated. Nothing great is happening in my life. I don't know what to look forward to by the end of the week. This drought is enough to kill me if it could. I guess I'll start typing down that I had some car trouble yesterday. Thankfully it was here at home and not on the road. The fuel pump gave out and I had to replace it. I didn't know what it was at first. I thought it was the carburetor in need of some cleaning. Good thing was that the part was easy to replace and I had a replacement at already. Had it since last year. I've been told many times to sale it because of these little mishaps. What these "people" don't understand is that this car is so easy to fix. The parts are easy to get. It doesn't need water and it doesn't waste a lot of gas. With 20 bucks I'm good for a week. That's all I got for now. There are several things I need to get done before I forget
This had to be the weirdest week of spring yet. After Tuesday the temperature dropped to a chilling point then by the weekend it started raining. 2013's spring has been so wild when it comes to it's weather. The semester comes closer to a close. In just a few more days it will be May. My month of birth ^^. May has always been my favorite month. Not because it was the month I was born in but the weather gets very warm around this time. So warm that it's hot. As such, it's 4 more weeks of school before the end of the semester. I won't be having much vacation because I plan to take summer school in order to hurry in finishing my studies. If all goes well, I should have less than half of the subjects I require to take before the start of next semester. That's that now with my social life. On Friday I had planned on going to see iron man 3 with some buddies but due to my bad habit of getting up very late, I arrived late at the meeting spot and couldn't find or contact my friends because their phones were either dead or out of range. Movistar still sucks to this very day. After school it was the welcome party of my asociacion. Good time. By 1 am I was on my way back home but still had enough strength to play monster hunter. Saturday was a friend's birthday. What would I do without google maps. The restaurant that he wanted for us to get together was on the other side of the hill that divides part of Monterrey. The place was were all the fresas usually go to. As we ate, we saw el clasico de tigres vs monterrey. My team lost :' (. 1 to 0 and we were on a winning streak and los rayados ruined it Dx Once the game was over we headed over to his house to drink until there was no tomorrow. It felt like old times. Shot after shot while talking about the wildest of stories. In the end it was a matter of time before someone had to throw up. I tell ya, mixing vodka and tequila can really get you. The guy who lost drank at least a dozen of them. I didn't drink by the way. I was the designated driver after all. We were up until 4 then everyone came in and fell right to sleep. Morning came with a strong shower of rain. Since my friend lived pretty high up the hill side, we got the most of it. It was until 10 that my wing man got me up so we could go home. Having remembered that I still had to clean the house and do some essay for school, I jumped onto bed and had the Zs come right out of me until it was 6 in the afternoon. Now here I am thinking if I should stay up or use this opportunity to go to sleep early and try to get up at 10 so I can do what I was suppose to do at the start of the weekend. I think I'll wait until it sleeps
What a day, what a day. Came so fast and went so soon. Why? Well waking up at 2 in the afternoon could be the reason. Now its 8:45. Night has fallen upon my place. Lets see here. Tomorrow I have...class until 9. Tuesday is a t 7. Wednesday and Friday are the same. Thursday is...Thursday has been weird since I returned. Oh I have an important meeting tomorrow at 4 too. That was a look into the future. In the past we had...my family came over yesterday. My team won 3 to 1 against Pachuca. Been playing a lot of monster hunter. School was meh and played Black ops 2 on my Wii U. I feel that I'm missing something. Something very important. I think it was about me washing my car. I can't think with an empty stomach. Tiempo de irme afuera
Forget what I said last time. This week turned out great. Way better than expected. Everything single piece that I thought was out of place came fitting right back in. Rather than explain how school was. I'll show you the wonderful pics I took at today's convention. Spoiler: show me the pictures Highlight: The Delorean from back to the future Thats me : ) What's a convention without some furries? Same umbreon from last time : D Pony Stand ^^ This applebloom was purchased by a friend. Her eyes came out a bit derped x3 And finally, a micro series comic with Rainbow Dash that I bought. Not bad for being so short. I know what you guys are thinking
Right then, lets type this down before I get carried away with other things. I'm back in Monterrey. Second most important city in Mexico. If you're a Mexican and hope to find things that you would never find down south then it is here. Here or in the dark heart of Mexico city. I was welcomed with open arms from my friends. A lot of likes for just saying I was going back on facebook today. My brother was more than happy to have me back ~ sarcasm. Everything I didn't finish before leaving is all gonna hit me hard tomorrow. It's going to be a very long week. I can safely say that I'm up to it. No worries this time. My time in Reynosa helped me understand how things are going to go down. With that said, I'll be reporting back to everypony on every Sunday from here on in. I'll try to stop by the site to see how Sunburn is doing. He needs someone to talk to so if anypony is kind enough to hear him out, do so. I'm was quite happy to be able to see Ech again. Hope he's doing ok. Looked a lot happier when I saw him so I'm sure he is. Saikyo & Co. are doing a terrific job with the site. Keeping away the bad things to keep the site clean. Xan, Yami, Rex, Bryced, Rain, Turk, Simon. Shout out for you guys and everypony else. Stay headstrong.
2 days remaining. That bad feeling you get when vacation is over and the hard part of life comes crawling back. I hate this feeling. Surely there's gotta be something better than the same routine we do everyday. Let us see now. Hmm...ah yes. My old man and I went to get the license plates of my car today. We were lucky to get there on time. A minute late and the place would've been closed. And yesterday....yesterday I...what did I do yesterday? *shrugs* Haven't been doing much but play MH3U on the 3DS. Can you believe that the only reason I bought a 3DS was for that game. True story. When capcom said it would be released on the nintendo's new portable console, I was so psyched. While I waited, I bought only 2 games during the months leading to its release. 2 DS games to be specific. At this point, I really don't see any other game worth buying. Sure there are games like fire emblem and many more but Monster hunter can keep me entertain for far longer hours than any of those games. It is that game where you could possibly live the rest of your life with. Well maybe not but it sure is worth the money. It's such a lovely night. I could go for Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
Mid-week away before spring break is over. I can't wait to go back. I say this because it's going suck. Big time. So ends another season of the walking dead. The last episode didn't disappoint but I thought someone more lovable was going to die. What will season 4 bring? The governor is still alive, Carl is getting ideas and all the last survivors of woodbury are with rick & co. Speculation and wonder. *long pause* Ok back to my blog. Es que, everyone I know in facebook is playing this game called candy crush. Its pretty cool. Its like bejeweled except it is based on turns instead of time limit. I'm better suited for the time based levels. Speed is my key to winning, not strategy. Oh did you hear the news? Lucas arts is gone! Destroyed by Disney's own Death star. At first I thought it was a joke but then I remembered it is not april fools anymore. The word is now all over major gaming sites. I can't believe Disney would do that. I am still at disbelief. Lucas arts was perhaps the last hope for a rogue squadron game to come out since factor 5 closed down. Bad news for Star wars 1313. Cancelled because of this. This song is untitled .
Sunday went faster than today. Maybe it was because me and my little brother spent playing multiplayer on black ops 2 on his xbox. 1000 kills took us about an hour or so to achieve. We played with one of his buddies online. We totally annihilated them x3. Turns out, me, my father and brother(older) all got sick on Sunday. Something we ate gave us a bad case of the runs. Funny that no one else got sick. Just us 3. Before that happened, I helped my dad wash the cars. Not a fun task but it was a beautiful day. I had promised myself that I would go watch the hobbit but I never did go see it at the theaters. It was going to be a long wait until it came out in dvd and tv. That is if you don't buy pirated movies. I for one would never buy pirated movies but my dad gets them. As such, we watched the hobbit today. Bad quality image but visible and obviously recorded in a movie theater. I could hear the occasional chuckle from the crowd when the funny moments came on-screen. Great film. How I wish to read the books. Just to see whats altered and whats not. Tomorrow Tuesday. The walking dead's third season is all over. So far I've been spoiler free and no where in the know.
I fail at getting up like the rest of my family. While everyone else gets up and early, I stay asleep like the odd child that I am. It's not until the hour is just right in order to get out of bed. Perhaps its because I sleep late. I don't know. Sometimes I can't understand myself. Looks like my chances to crossing over to Texas grow ever so slimer. On Friday, I didn't go with my brother but it was best not. I didn't want to be him and his wife all day. At night we went out for dinner with our cousin Irving and with a long time friend Albert but we all call him el waff/waffle. Supposedly, we were to go to a carnival in Mcallen today but that didn't happen. Worst part my brother didn't bother to come for me to go to the theaters with them but that's ok. Didn't have money for the occasion anyway. Fridays and Saturdays. Oh what fun days these are. Time to go out se ha dicho. Pistear y hechar flojera. Like always.
Nothing more important than family and that's what I saw these past 2 days. Yesterday, it was a family trip to Rio Bravo at the family Ranch to celebrate my step-mom's mother's birthday. Good times. I even talked to an ol cousin of mine while over there. He's one of the few cousins I speak English with. Once night fell, it was a long trip back. Well not that long, but night drives always make things feel longer. Before going back home, we went to check my grandmother who had a terrible accident. She tripped and hit her face flat onto the ground. Thankfully she's ok. The accident left her pretty bruised but she will be alright. Today I went again with my dad over there to be with her for the rest of the day. At 5 pm, my brother arrived at the house from Monterrey. Can't say I was happy to see him but its nice to have him here. Tomorrow's Friday. That means its time to buy a six pack.
