Back again with a new posting schedule. I'll be posting every two days until spring break is over. So now posts should contain double the amount of contain than the daily blogs of the past. ; )

So lets kick this off with today's weather. It was cold and cloudy. Which is very odd considering its spring. It was just a few days ago that everything felt so warm. Not bad in fact I welcome it. I could use this cool atmosphere for a bit more.

Today was rather interesting. My Dad, a friend of his, and me went to Matamoros which is a nieghboring town/city in order to see if my Dad could get his visa to cross the border. We left at around 7:30 in the morning and arrived at the place at about 9. I coudn't stay awake and fell back to sleep in the car. Good thing it was cold in the morning. Otherwise I would've been cooked. After noon we came back with the news that my Dad would be getting his visa in 6 months. Which is utter bull when he had already filed for it since last year. The rest of my afternoon was spent playing with little brother. Then came the main event of the day. The semi-final episode to the walking dead. I honestly didn't want Merle to go. I felt so sad for Daryl. Now its only one more episode before the season ends and I'm left with nothing to watch on t.v.

Time to go. I remembered that I promised my friend Pepe that we would play CoD4.

Just when you feel like you're going to break, vacation comes around just in time to save you from the endless limbo of the average workday.
Days like these are the only ones we're going to get so its best to let it all loose before we go back. Doesn't go without saying that once we do go back, its going to get even tougher.

That's in 2 weeks though. There are other things I would rather like to do. Pushing aside what really matters is bad so I'll check back on it but just not right now.

I didn't really need vacation but I did need to get away from Monterrey before my brother blew his lid again.

Before I left Monterrey, I did some cleaning in my room and the house just so my brother didn't come up with the idea that I left them with the house all dirty. Gave my share on the bills too.

Saturday I had my last class before spring break. I had a little bit of trouble understanding several key points of the problem we were doing but I'm sure I can re-check and analyze it to get a better idea.
After class it was a trip through the metro with my 2 backpacks. I could tell that I was out of shape because by the time I arrived at my aunt's house, I was out of breathe. There I waited til my cousin was done packing in order to get going. It was great seeing him again. He's my favorite cousin and we still share a strong relationship from past years. What I mean is that we still connect despite all these years. Everyone else I see after a long absence ends up being different. It's expected but my brother takes 1st place when it comes to that.
My time with my cousin was short. After we arrived here, we headed straight to McAllen TX to do some quick shopping. While I was over there, I noticed a very significant increase in MLP products.
I bought 2 shirts and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for my 3DS. Now I'm playing. ; )

Once we came back, my cousin got himself ready to go to Poza Rica. The home land of our fathers. Literally. I could have gone with him but I have things to do here.

As I slept the other night at my Grandma's house. It felt like the old days. Sleeping with a fan turning from one side to the other. The mosquitoes buzzing around my face. The cool breeze of a spring night. Yeah, a good feel of the old days and drift away.

Another week, another blog entry.

You can only imagine on how long this week felt. Monday and Tuesday were the only days I had exams. Now I wait until this Tuesday to start the next batch.
So with that said, I spent the few days doing nothing...much. Felt like I was on vacation. Boring days with nothing to do. Just lie in bed and see the day go by.

I bet you are all thinking that this another pointless my-week-was-boring blog post. Don't worry. I brought fresh game to bring onto the table.

Other than yesterday, which was another night boozing with my compadres. I had a brony meetup today ^^

Yes sir. Making it the best day of the month. Not only did I see my friends again, I received my first issue of the My Little Pony comic. Its issue three so I'm somewhere between late and new to the story. If I'm not mistaken, issue 5 is the latest? Either way I finally have one : D
Apart from that I bought this month's issue of Club Nintendo. I feel bad that the american version, Nintendo Power, is no longer made. : /
I'll provide pics of all the stuff I got in another post. It won't be until next Sunday. I'll see to it to upload some pics tomorrow in a mini post.

As for the meetup, I made 2 new friends. I also won a small Rarity figurine. Saw several episodes including winter wrap up. Speaking of which we all sang. They'll be uploading that to Equestria daily so be sure to check if it makes the headlines.

Eyup. Today was a good day. Despite the schism.

Might as well type up this blog entry before I forget ; )

Well its that time again. Exams and hitting the books in order to have an idea on what the upcoming test is all about. My strategy for studying is to study a few hours before presenting. Otherwise I forget even if I have studied for days. It going to be one busy week. For the next 2 weeks I'll be doing nothing but getting myself ready for each exam one after another. Once that is all over, its spring break for 2 weeks. This is the only opportunity I got to go change my license plates and to renew my antivirus. Not to mention a small break. Still, I know it will be short lived.

Nothing good happened last week. Just grinding the days until the week was over. Complete silence

Now I know that I'm slipping up. Missed my schedule this time. Could it mean something? Well it definitely shows I gotta keep it together or else.

What can I say that hasn't been said before. Nothing unfortunately. Getting through school last week was tough and now with only week left before exams, I don't even know if I'm ready but have I ever been? Nah. Although this cocky attitude is something I have had for throughout the years, I know it will be the end of me. I have to step it up. I'm so close to finishing. I can't let it slip. Not now.
This is going to get very interesting if I do say so myself. If I'm not ready now, I will be in time. Even though time is something that I see is very little these days.

Perhaps the only thing I can share with you guys was that last Saturday, I had a nice little chat with the one the brony group leaders here in Monterrey. She was an interesting individual with a lot of background. I hope to get the chance to talk with the others.

That was all the boring whatnot in my mind. Come to think of it, where is my mind.

It is 3:30 in the morning and here I am typing down what should have been done hours ago. Curse double xp weekend on black ops.

Instead of lying down to sleep I come to everypony to do this blog. Not that it matters but leaving a week without any news would make my spirit plummet. I don't want talk about more concerning news so I'll stick to better things.

This last week was filled with unexpecting moments. None of them were bad. Yesterday, Saturday I mean, I presented the EXCI test. Its an english test that we're all required to present and past in order to finish school. I was only there because a friend failed and needed my guidance to pass. The exam was easy but it was slightly challenging. Just goes to show how much my english has worn out these past years. Before that, I had another test. This one was from a subject I failed last semester and now I'm taking it again on Saturdays. That one turned out to be alright. I feel that its good as passed.

Well that looks like a decent log entry. I feel pretty ashamed that my sleeping hours have gone to sh1te. I'm not poud of it at all. There are also a lot of things I feel that I have not yet accomplished these past weeks. Its extraordinary that one could do it in little time but laziness gets the best of you.

I don't even know where to start. School is a bummer right now. There were many things I couldn't get done and at this rate it's off to a bad start. Dang and here I was thinking I was to give it my all this semester. Doesn't matter I'll work it out somehow like I always do.
So when it came to valentine's day, I did what I did and that's that. There wasn't anything good to tell from this past week. Just a lot of the same old thing.
I was home alone up until Thursday. The solitary feeling was enough to to mend my soul. Hated the fact that I had to babysit my brother's mutt. I love dogs but this bulldog isn't my type.

Today was the only interesting day of the week. Yet another brony meetup. This time they brought a projector so we could all see the season finale. A good show. Best thing was seeing my friends again. After the meetup, we went to eat pizza and played marvel vs capcom 2 & 3.

Wanna know my opinion on the season finale? It was great. Beg to differ? There's nothing to say. Twilight get wings, big shock. Big deal. Change isn't something that a lot of people accept but in time we will all get use to it.

Now for the wait.

Just when I thought things would make a turn for the worst, there was a new change in direction. Still, it left behind a lot of damage in the process. Nothing that can't be fixed. Like my Dad once told me "Everything in this life can be fixed except death" That quote is one of the few that inspire my life. Another one is "The pieces fit".

So what went down this past week and how does the near future look? For the former, some bad things happened but in the end were, if not all, resolved. Rather than tell you what those were, because I feel that my past blog entries have had a negative tone, I'll say the better things.

1.- My car is finally back to its former state. After many trips to the mechanic, he finally got the battery from dying. He also got the reverse fixed.
2.- School was more or less. Spending time with my friends. I can't believe I've made it this far with them. It's a shame that soon we will have to go our separate ways.
3.- My best friend invited me to his birthday yesterday. I really like that guy. Always telling me that I'm ugly. While I always call him the n word. Despite the fact that he isn't even black.

Those seem to be the highlights of this past week. Those and yesterday's mlp episode. So it turns out that it was about what happened with the mane six while spike took care of their pets. Interesting but it's nothing when it comes to the season finale.

As for this week. I'm home alone until Thursday. My brother went to Acapulco with his wife for some R&R. It's not all that great though. I got to look out for their bulldog while they are gone but I'm able to watch cable in their room now. Can't wait for this Tuesday's episode of the walking dead.

Fighting is magic cancelled, twilight turning into an alicorn, derpy gone, etc. Looks like perfect excuses for those who wish to leave the fandom. Whatever, it's not enough to screw with my soul. I'll still be here.
with or without you

2 weeks in now and it hasn't been easy. I can't even stop to catch my breath these days. -.-
What's really making my days a pain is my car. Once one thing gets fixed something else pops up. I call it extremely bad luck. The same bad luck I had at the start of last year. It was working just fine but now it doesn't want to go into reverse. Something must've fallen out of place during the repair. The mechanic said that this Tuesday he can check to see if he can fix it. That to me means another day without my ride. ><
If only that damn screw hadn't fallen in then none of this bull crap would have ever happened.

Well that's one thing. School on the other hand has been alright so far. One class requires that I read a book that inspires me. I have books but I have already read them. Which I find pointless. I could go buy another book but there's no money. Ever. I mean really. As soon as my dad sends me money it's good as gone. I received 700 pesos last Thursday. 400 had to go to paying the gas bill. 200 went to buying groceries. Those last hundred, take out 60 from going to the movies with friends to see Django unchained. 40 left. Add emergency savings, +140, 180. Minus whatever small things I bought throughout the week. I'm left with 90 right now.
My only solution is to get a job.

*sigh* So much stuff. So many things going on in this part of life. I don't see it getting any easier. Good thing I don't have school tomorrow. An extra day off could help me recover mentally.
Still, it won't help with what I have to face this upcoming week. I'm gonna have to deal with it face to face.

Hello Everypony!

Lyon here with a whole new blog series that starts today!

Just when I thought things couldn't go bad, they did. It's like I have a first day curse or something.
On Monday, I started my first day of school sleeping in and skipping my class at 10:20 am. Not really a bad start but what made my Monday terrible was that a loose screw got into the engine of my car. Without even thinking that it would be alright, I headed to the Mechanic close by to get that thing out ASAP. In doing so, I was on foot for the rest of the week. Not literally. I did take the local buses to get around.
So here's my school schedule:

Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.- Class 1: 10:20 am - 11:10 am. Class 2: 3:20 pm - 4:10 pm. Class 3: 5:40 pm - 6:20 pm. Class 4: 8:20 pm - 9:20 pm.
Tuesday.- 7 pm - 9 pm
Thursday.- 5 pm - 9 pm

Pretty long and tiring but its as good as it could get.

This past week was perhaps the most longest and most tiring of any week I have had this year so far. Everyday I had to stay in touch with the Mechanic to see that the repairs were going ok. I had to make decisions on whether or not change to my class hours. Pay for Saturday's class. Catch up with friends. Get to know my new teachers.

With all that mentioned, you may think that my weekend was pretty relaxing afterwards. Nope!
Woke up at 6 yesterday to attend class. After that I went to Garifest which was an event going on downtown where my fellow bronies were selling some baked goods. It was around 4 when I finally got home. I didn't get much time to cleanup my room or to do laundry. Later I was waiting for a text message from a friend that I invited over for a gaming session. It was around 9:30 when I finally went to go pick him up.
Why didn't I wash or clean during while I waited? Because I was with my brothers cotorreando. I slept until 4 in the morning.
Today wasn't any easier. Trying to recover as much sleep as possible, I got up until 1:30. It was then that the Mechanic called telling me that the car was ready to go. Thank god.
It did feel a little different than before while I was driving but looks okay.
Finally it was back to garifest to hangout once again with the bronies.
So there we have it folks. Right now I'm so tired that I could drop dead any second but I'll be fine. A good night's rest will do me some good.


This week may or may not get tougher but we will soon see. While I'm at it, I'll be checking to see if my car is alright by giving it a good test drive.

Here we are once again. There were a few things that made the day go off track but everything else overlaps it. Heck, tomorrow the pieces will fall into place. I'm sure of it. After leaving my dad at the bus station. I headed home and saw the house alone with my brother no where to be found. Went upstairs and saw my room. "I'm back" I thought to myself.
My bed was the same just like I left it. My posters on the wall. My plushies staring at me at the door way. My tv and desktop. All mine. All this gave me a feeling of accomplishment. Now I come with new things to add to this very place I call my safe haven. I may be far away from my family and Reynosa but I have a place where I feel comfortable enough to call home. Small and filled with my belongings.
Before I could lie down, I had to take out my backpacks from the car. My vocho proved to be a force to reckon with on the open road once again. I'll be awarding it a new air filter by tomorrow.
It wasn't long before my brother arrived to welcome me. I'm certain that this semester we will get along a lot better.

Ok Everypony. Here's the drill: Lyon will be posting on every Sunday from now on. I admit that I have not posted a lot in the forums but I'm still around anyway ^^
With only 3 episodes left of this season, we got a lot to go for.
Right then. Wish me luck at school on my first day.

My wake up call was to go to McAllen asap. With just a glass of chocolate milk I set myself out to go buy a few things at Walmart and Fallas.
Upon returning home, I spent no time in waiting to see today's new mlp episode. I loved it! With Discord around this will bring new and intriguing episodes ^^. I laughed with every moment that discord was on screen doing his "chaos". You gotta love him.

Looks like this is my last night here. I wished I could have done more in vacation but my time has arrived and now there's no going back.
Tomorrow I'll be posting my last blog entry before entering school. After that it's weekly blogs back to back. Things aren't all that bad. Besides, the end is the beginning is the end.

So long winter vacation. I hardly knew ya. I'm still not sure what day I'm going back to Monterrey but everything points toward this Sunday. I wish I had one more week to finish what I have not yet finished doing here. Looks like time is never on our side. Desgraciado.

I willing to bet that tomorrow's episode will start up a stir in our community. So much talk about some one coming back and twilight turning into a god. We'll soon see with the end of this season.

I think Thursday is the only day that I never complain about anything. It's a weird day of the week where everything comes out never bad or never good. Or is it?

Well after a long wait. I finally got my Christmas gift. The Wii U. It's no console I have ever seen before. I have spent the last few months keeping myself from ever seeing reviews, unboxing, videos and images of this console. Why? so I wouldn't spoil myself. You can bet it was worth it because after seeing it for first time in my hands it was amazing.
"But Lyon why would you buy that ol'gen console over what microsoft and sony have cooking up for 2013's E3?"

One game. MONSTER HUNTER ULTIMATE. That game is what drove me to buy this. After playing tri on Wii, I was never the same again.
