First day of the year and there wasn't anything special about it. Went with my grandma today and ate some turkey P:
After that I spent most of me afternoon doing some leftover work on my computer. Like post the videos that I uploaded to my brony group in facebook. Make another video but this time with my school buddies and upload that to youtube. Next I checked my usual gaming news sites. Atomix, IGN(orant slimbags), and Gametrailers.
As of now I'm saving images from an imageboard to my image folder. I'm barely halfway through the thread. So many images : o

Ok, this year is gonna be different. I'm gonna give it all.

The last day of 2012 will be a Monday. Not that it matters but its the start of a new week or is Sunday the start of a new week. I don't know I just mash buttons while I type.

So I couldn't use my laptop today. Well I could but I just decided not to so my video would upload without any interference. The upload started at 6am and its aprox. 10:30pm now. What a wait that was. You know whats worst? I still need to upload part 2 and this one weighs 2 gb. That's not all, it comes out with errors every time I try to render it.
If it fails then I'm going to split it into an additional 3rd part because its a huge waste of time waiting for it to render....again.
Best try one more time

4 days after Christmas and there's nothing now but remains of a wonderful holiday.
Well the video that I'm working on has come out quite alright. The only set back is the size. 4 gb. There is no way I'm gonna wait 2 to 3 days for this to upload. The solution? Split it into 2 parts. First part rendered just fine but the second came out a bit glitchy. This always happens and when it does it keeps me from using my laptop because the amount of processing that's used when it renders. In other words, the computer becomes very slow and unresponsive. Not to mention the length of the film. Waiting 2 hours for it to finally render then see that a small error occurred makes me really upset. Stupid small errors
In the time being, I played Fire emblem for the Gamecube. I failed to kill the black knight this time. *kicks rock*
I'm so hoping to get the chance to play the upcoming fire emblem game that will be coming out for 3DS.

With Christmas all over, its now time to prepare for the new year. This is perhaps the only time when the entire human race gets together for this celebration

I was unable to post yesterday because we forgot to pay the phone bill. Thankfully, my Dad paid it today in the morning and it came back around noon.

-THURSDAY-
What was suppose to be a fun day with my favorite cousin instead turned into being a babysitter for a day with my little cousins at my grandma's house. My cousin left in order to go to Texas to go shopping while my uncle, who was in charged looking over my cousins, had to go on an important errand.
As such, my entire afternoon was wasted watching an entire marathon of Beavis & Butt-head then taking a nap due to boredom. To top it off, a certain body part that I rather not say was in pain throughout the entire day. :/

-FRIDAY-
Having wasted my thursday, I got to work on the brony meetup video that I'm in charged of. It's almost done which makes me really happy. The most hardest parts when it comes to making these videos is:
First - The intro. This requires some thinking so that the video has something proper to start with.
Second - Fitting background music. For odd reasons, I'm always using DKC BGM
and Third - Time and patience. The time it takes to make and review each scene of the video and then wait for it to upload onto youtube. This video is about an hour long. I can only imagine how long it will take to upload.

That's it for this week. Now to wait for the day that never comes.

After watching early morning ponies, I convinced myself that I had nothing to do today
I could have played a few games but I didn't have enough interest to play even if the games I have still had extras & stuff to unlock but me dio flojera. It wasn't until a few hours ago that I had remembered about the video that I had to edit and then upload on to youtube. You see, I'm charged in recording and editing most of the brony meetups in Monterrey. If only I had remembered I wouldn't have wasted my day watching youtube.
At least now I have something to do tomorrow.
My day wasn't a total waste though. I backed up my files from my laptop to my external hard drive.
I need a new one now since this one is almost full. With 15gb left of 150gb. The videos that I have use a lot of space and it's hard to decide which ones to keep. x(

You know, even though I'm on vacation, I still a lot have things to do. The sooner I do them, the better. Then spend an entire day with my good friend serenity.

Well, well, Christmas eve was great. Went from my dad's house, to my grandmother's and to a friend's house. By the time we got home it was 2 in the morning. I came back so tired that I forgot to start my blog entry. Oh well.

So what everypony get from santa? Me? Nothing...yet. I'm waiting untill tomorrow or Thursday to go to Texas to buy my Christmas gifts. Apparently, Santa left an I.O.U on my front door.
The only thing I did today was finish LOZ Skyward Sword. Makes me appreciate the great thing that is nintendo. ^^

en fin, Alot of Christmas cheer was givin around the world.

How have things been with everyone? I hope awesome and 20% cooler than last year.
With Christmas eve tomorrow, its only gonna get better.

First lets put out the number one thing that was all talk and no show. 12/21/2012. It sucked. With that finally over we can all laugh and continue on with our lives. The bad thing that happened that day, for me that is, was that I failed my last exam from school. Now I got to take it again this next semester.

Now with the Christmas ordeal. Santa will be coming soon guys. :3 I can almost hearing him laughing with Rudolph leading his sleigh while stopping by each house and breaking down doors to enter and steal give presents to all the good boys and girls.

I for one haven't gone Christmas shopping as of yet. If black friday was bad, days leading up to the 25th are on par. I just hope there are still offers and the stuff I want to buy. One of them being the MLP comic. Somepony please tell me that they sale it at Barnes & Noble because I don't where else.

That's all folks. After 20 weeks, I have finished my adventures. Starting next week I will begin bloging my winter vacation. I'm not entirely sure if I should do it daily like I did in summer but if I could do 29 days of constant blog entries then I should have no trouble with this one. I am on vacation after all ^^
Tomorrow would be a good day to start. These blogs may come out short or boring but I promise to at least write something down that's worth your while.

On the side note, I haven't received my secret santa gift yet : C
Whoever has it, better have it ready by the 25th or the pony gets it I'm still waiting for it so take your time. Whomever you are. : )

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas spirit as much as I am ^^
As mentioned in a past blog entry, people all around Mexico are having parties. I've had three so far. One on Friday here at my house. Another on Saturday over with some buddies from school and today (Sunday) with my brony pals
Today was also the last brony meetup of the year. It was great. I got myself an Applebloom after trading a bubble-making Pinkie Pie that I won at the meetup. I would upload some pictures but I'm too lazy right now. I was out all afternoon so I'm pretty tired. But not tired enough to write down this blog though ; )

Even with all the fun I had this weekend, there was one thing that got me a bit down today. A friend at the meetup told me that the DKC trilogy has been removed from the Virtual Console service from the Wii shop. This might mean little to some but it means alot to me. I was hoping to download at least DKC3 but now I don't think I ever will. Worst part is that Nintendo hasn't given a proper explanation as to why they were removed.
Again, this isn't something entirely serious but its a shame that these gems are taken away from us. Emulator you say? HECK NO! Its not the same. Get it for SNES? Maybe but that could be a little difficult.

Back to reality. Anypony seen the Hobbit? Not me xD but I plan to go see it tomorrow. That and pay my collage...*tries to find english word*...bill? Yeah, that.

Also, this Tuesday is my last test. Wish me all luck because my future does depend on whether or not I pass. After that I'm off back home for Christmas and the New year. Its gonna be a blast!

I swear Nintendo. You have to be outta of your mind to take these games out of your VC library. Could be for some sort of expired contract or conflict with Rare but here's my question: WHY THE HELL DID YOU SELL THEM TO MICROSOFT?!

The chapter is coming to a close now. The circle is almost complete.
Starting tomorrow will be the last of my tests of the semester. I got a fuzzy feeling on how things will go. For reasons unknown, I feel rather cocky than worried. If these tests were in third chance then I would be sweating with fear right about now but, meh, all is well. Out of the 7 subjects I had this semester, I failed only 2. Both on first opportunity. If all goes well then I deserve more than a simple vacation back home with the family and with my dachshund Chetote :3

Okay, what happened this past week....Trying to remember. Hmm.
Not much. Days have been empty since school finished. If I was still in practicas, I would be awaiting when to get the day off. But nope, don't have to worry about work right now.
Not until next year at least. Where my new goal would be to do social service.

Nowadays, people have been doing a little something we call "Posadas". Basically these are traditional reunions that we Mexicans do before Christmas day. Involves tamales and other Mexican cuisines to fill our hungry bellies while chatting with family & friends. My brony friends and I have been trying to organize one for next Sunday. Which is right after the last Brony meetup of the year. I'm set to receive some stickers of my OC and I know just where to put them.

I don't know what song to put at the end. So if you guys want some music, I suggest you walk on over to the melody fair

Week 17 was flat out shallow. My bad habit of waking up at noon has returned. I curse myself for that. Exam results were mixed but the only bad news is that I may have to present one in the early morning next Monday due to several complications. Tomorrow and Wednesday are the last ones so it's a matter of seeing which ones I passed and failed to retake them next week.

On the brighter side, December is finally here. Bringing with it the holiday spirit. To me this brings joy to my spirit. Filling my soul with excitement.
Not only that but December brings back alot of great memories from past years. Spending time with family and friends, Posadas, family reunions, big dinners. You get the picture.
The best of it all is buying Christmas gifts to give and to receive in return. Which reminds me, my secret Santa gift is all set and ready to be uploaded. Just need to pick a day to upload it.

I wanted to upload a few pics from last friday's school Christmas event but I'll leave that until next week. It's still a bit early for Christmas but now is a good time to deck the halls.

Good Morning/Day/Evening Everypony.

Its been 16 weeks and I got about a month left until its all over. Be it school or world. Last week was the last for classes. Now its time for studying for tomorrows exams. I do not know how things will go but I'm certain that I'll fail 2 subjects. But that's the least of my concerns. I still got a job to find. Prove that I'm not a lazy nitwit to one specific person and other things that require attention like:
Fix oil leak from the car
Retrieve Wii from repair shop
Finish Secret Santa gift. (Just thought of redoing it after careful thinking)
Give back lent game from a friend.
Clean up room and do laundry.

List continues from high to low priority.

I don't have much to report this time. Went to McAllen TX yesterday for the whole day to go window shopping. I did buy some stuff. Like an ink cartridge for my printer. Boxers, 3DS game for a friend because the prices here in Mexico are ridiculous. Also a few boxes of mini pumpkin pies. Yum <3

That's all. Time is running out

You see, if I can go to an anime convention, why haven't I seen anything furry related. Not a single sign of it ever existing. No art work, no merchandise, nada. But why is it that there's a mlp stand. This fandom came way after that.
So no, I didn't go to a "furry convention". Although I did see one or two fursuiters walk by in today's anime convention.
Now then, before I get to what happened today, let me recap on last week's series of unexpected events.
Tuesday, I got fired. So to say. Which was unexpected as heck, but what is one to do. So much for earning my pay for this Christmas. Now I gotta find money out of the sofas to complete my holiday spendings.

Even so, I feel relieved. I can go back to sleeping late and waking up at any given hour. Still, I have alot of things to get done. This level in life is a constant battle against time to get things done before its too late.

With that bad scene out of the way. Lets move to the positive moment of the week. Like mentioned before, I attended Monterrey's anime convention. This convention takes place twice a year. I was accompanied by my brony pals.
Despite being an anime convention, we went because our group had set upped a stand dedicated to selling mlp merchandise. Not just imported products from the states but also custom made buttons, stickers, notepads, plushies, etc. We also had support from Hasbro Mexico. Let me just say that fans have their facts better than Hasbro does.

Lyon, or as my friends call me Lyin, here to bring another weekly update on things south side.

Lets start with work. It sucks.

Second, school is coming to a close soon in about....2 WEEKS!?! :ahh: Holy cow! This was the fastest semester I've had. I can't believe it. Gotta get ready for exams.

Third, fun time! This week was more fun than any other. Friday was when los autenticos played at the school's stadium. The entrance was free for those who were from FIME. That is until a bit after those who had tickets entered. The great news was that we won 34 - 20.
Just the other day I got to see the season premiere. Best thing I've seen in days. Maybe they should have given the newer villain some more story but I'm not going to complain. The episode was far from bad
With only 13 episodes, they best be worth a full season episode line-up.

Lastly, I invited the bronies from last time over for a drink. Upon getting up today, we played some smash bros. Good times.

So guys, I can't get on this site that much anymore. Does not mean I'll eventually leave. Its just that my time schedule is pretty strict. Whenever I get the chance to rest, I end up using it to do urgent things. Like yesterday after work I got straight down to washing clothes and cleaning my room rather than sit down to play or slack off. It wasn't long untill it was late afternoon that I had to go pick up my friends. Even before that I had to buy some stickers for my dad. He's a big Tigres fan. Making it a very important task.
Anything I didn't have time to do yesterday I now have to do today. Like wash my car, send some pages to my classmates for a presentation tomorrow, hang my clothes, homework, etc.

Not long untill one can realize what has been done in so little time for so many days

An outdoor packed week this was. With Halloween, a trip back home, seeing the repairs of a busted Wii, to a late visit to the nighmare night festival, aka 7th brony meetup.

Things at work have progressed slowly but I'm there to learn so I can't be in real trouble for my boss not understanding my way of working. I need to step up my game.

Halloween at FIME was pretty good. I posted the eight pages from slender at different billboards around the campus a day before. The next day, there was only one.
looks like the one collecting them couldn't find the last one before slender man got him. But that's just a silly thought.

I rode the bus alot this past week. It was a long trip from school to the other side of the dried up river. For three days I went back and forth. Getting more and more sleepy on each trip.
That was when I realized that all people want is to rest from this grinding life of work. What joy is there for working? They say that one should enjoy doing whatever it is they do at work. Not for the mere fact to work for money. Yes, it's what we all need but its not enough. I'm working for the experience and to get it out of my way before graduating but that's no fun. I'm on my fifth week and I already want out.
That must be one of the reasons why I went to Reynosa for the weekend. To escape from this place and be over there to recover my spirit.
In doing so, I went late to the meetup today(Sunday). It was all over when I arrived but I got together with new friends I made through each meetup. Turns out, the ones in charge of our group had a surprise for me. I talked with one before leaving and he told me that they had made an Applebloom plushie just for me. Surprised indeed. He added that all the stuff they brought was already taken away along with it. He further added that I can go this Friday to pick it up. Afterwards, I got together with my friends and we went to a buffet to finish the night.

Time to sleep. Now for a forest interlude
