This has been a long time coming, but I finally got around to taking a pic of the stuff I've collected over the past couple months, and then finally got around to posting it here. My favorite is the Fluttershy plush. I love her and hug her and call her George. The blind bags are Barber Groomsby, Apple Fritter, and Bon-Bon (called Sweetie Drops on the card).
So I was working like any other day when I looked toward the Wells Fargo bank next door and see a horse standing there. At first I thought it may have been a statue (which didn't make much more sense, but a little bit more maybe), but then I saw it move its leg. I found this awesome and had to get a picture.
Is it just me, or are there certain things that feel awkward to talk about with other bronies? Nothing serious, just some things that seem...taboo? Like whenever I mention that I don't much like The Living Tombstone, the looks I receive make me feel like I had just come out as a brony again to non-bronies. >_> Similarly, when I say I haven't seen X video series or read Y fanfic. It's like being ostracized for not being into the fandom enough. xD Don't worry, I'm not being all whiny and down on myself. Simply musing, really.

A little less than a year ago, I joined this site and in my intro, I said I'd been a brony for a little under a month. After being unable to find the earliest times I watched videos and such, I can only estimate my Bronyversary, whish is a little sad...So let's just say it's February 8th or something! It's been a great journey with you guys thus far, and though my activity has noticeably dipped lately, that's mainly because of my own emotional issues that I'm not even certain why I have. Suffice it to say, you guys are still great and this place still rocks! Being that it's my Bronyversary, I think that it's a good opportunity to bring attention back to my very first blog. Its message remains true, though lately I've found it harder to follow due to my own incessant and really quite annoying depression. It doesn't listen to reason, see. Even though I know something to be true, my depression makes it difficult for me to feel that it's true, you know what I mean? Anyway, I'm getting off-subject. Barnes and Noble emailed me and notified me that New Spring, the prologue book to the Wheel of Time, had come in, and I went and picked it up. Behold the majesty! And now some Twilight.
So I went to the bathroom and inside a father was helping his son finish up going and wash his hands. This son was the cutest thing. Very inquisitive. He said things like "Daddy, why he (referring to me) so big?" (I laughed heartily at that) and "Why is he so tall?" To this, the father replied, "Because God made him tall." Upon asking why I'm so tall again, the father responded, "Be he has tall genes. Not jeans like the ones you wear, but the ones that make up who you are." By this point, I was beaming from cheek to cheek at the adorableness, and chimed in jokingly, "Also I wear tall jeans," which warranted a hearty laugh from the father. It was a really endearing things, it was. I'm glad I experienced that.
So a few days ago, the moon and Jupiter were just hangin' out and chillin', but the next day Jupiter had to start heading home and was a bit further away from the moon. I got a few pictures because it's obvious to anyone with this phone's quality that it's Jupiter. Spoiler: It really is Jupiter, though
As some of you may know, I was tearing up my room back in September trying to find my Prinny hat for a semi-cosplay thing that ended up falling through because I couldn't find the hat, which was the centerpiece of it all. Well, I found it yesterday at long last. Apparently I left it at my brother's house a long time ago and he kept forgetting to tell me. I helped him move yesterday and he remembered and gave it to my mom, so now I finally have it back!
It's been a long time, but I'm excited about this purchase, because now I have a physical copy of 12 of the 14 Wheel of Time books, and got the complete Sherlock Holmes collection for cheap ($10!). A lot of money spent, but well worth it! Among the 12 WoT books I bought is the 14th and final book, A Memory of Light, which fans have been waiting for since 1990 (when the series began)! Can't wait to engross myself in it and read how it all ends!
...unless he's forced to by contract. Seriously, this was written all over both the front and back men's bathrooms at my Walmart yesterday. xD
Earlier today, there was a shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut here in America. 27 people dead, some of which are little children... As some of you may know, I recently sent out a bunch of PMs thanking my friend for everything they've done for me up until this point. This blog post is to thank everyone I forgot and then some! Thank you, people of EP, for being who you are. It's because of all of you that I am who I am today. That is to say, a much better person than I was this time last year. It's thanks to everyone here that I developed the way I did. I've faced hardship and scrutiny, but without it, I'd never have been able to face myself and overcome some of my biggest problems as a person. All my friends' support has helped me through it all with encouragement and advice, but at the same time, others' criticism and such gave me something to overcome and improve upon. I can't please everyone, but what I can do is do what I can to help my friends and people who need help, advice, and encouragement. I joined this site as a Fluttershy of sorts, but have since found more confidence in myself and attained what I think to be more of an Applejack/Pinkie Pie feel. A friend in my Canterlanta brony group once told me, when I asked, that I most resemble Big Macintosh. In real life, I suppose that's true. I'm a really quiet person, but also nice and reliable. Online, where my personality comes out more, I'm more like AJ/PP, as stated. x3 And it's thanks to you guys that I'm like this now. I feel content with my days now. And with it, the honor of new merch! Funny story, actually. For the past week, the order was listed on my account as "Order Packing". Then I checked it last night and I saw those blissful words at last: "Shipped"! So, sweet, right? I'll get my stuff in about a week, yeah? I checked the UPS tracking number today, and as it turns out, wrong! It said it shipped back on the 3rd and was on schedule to arrive today. Naturally, I was all like, "JRTFDAVJFFKVD!" And sure enough, and I kid you not, the UPS guy arrived, like, 5 minutes after I read that. Then my new stuff was here and things were awesome! *Cue angelic fanfare* Along with the stuff I bought, I was given the choice of complimentary gifts for the large purchase. I chose the Luna keychain, Vinyl Scratch poster, Fluttershy button, purple unicorn horn, and felt mustache. As it turns out, the mustache has a safety pin on it, so I can't WON'T wear it on my face. It's been a while since I posted new merch, of which I've recently gained a few, so here's some pics of it. Funny story about the blind bag sets (not really blind bag stuff anymore, but don't really know what to call it): I saw them on the shelf after work one day and grabbed them all, but they weren't in the system yet, so the cashier had to manually enter them to override it so she could sell them to me. I also came across the trading card tin set, that comes with a nice tin chest and 6 booster packs. I wasn't really into the card stuff, but I wanted the tin because it's awesome.
