But... a synopsis wasn't released yet. All that is on the IMDb page is the name of the Episode. And a week? Try a few months. The amount of production that go in to cartoons forces them to start making episodes long before they air. Season 2 of MLP is either finished, or just about finished. Season 3 most likely already has some basic ideas for how the story will go.
theres one episode that I enjoyed watching from these recent seasons. Its the one where stan makes a facebook account and gets pissed about the idea. That one did make me lol.
Better than conservative Baptists making fun of us. At least South Park makes fun of those people, too.
I first caught wind of this in a thread on /mlp/ (which I admit has a very large focus of what I consider to be negative aspects of the brony community but I still lurk on occasionally) The image for the thread was a screencap of IMDb with a very short synopsis, I guess it's different now. IMDb can be trolled though.
That is true for most cartoons, but South Park is famous for making one episode every six days. It allows them to keep up with current events.
Doesn't seem to be a pony episode after all. http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/410389/im-not-gonna-fall-in Oh well, on with our lives.
I didn't think so, to be honest if they were going to make a brony episode they'd have made it, bronies were more in the limelight with the general public (at least those who went on the internet a lot) about a year ago.
Hence the crappy animation and overused bland jokes. Thank Celestia, I was really hoping that it was fake. yay
I have an odd feeling it would look something like "Make Love, Not Warcraft". Although my South Park knowledge is rather limited by the fact that I'm British and most of their stuff sails clean over my head. Also, I have Red Dwarf DVDs and a Hard Drive of Top Gear and Ponies.
...I guess I'll add my two cents. I doubt that South Park will present us in a good light, because that'd mean that the brony topic will stay around in South Park for a while. Even if they do not represent us in a good light, who cares? South Park is known for being offensive and over the top when it comes to certain topics (to all, actually). I can see this episode being like the one in which everybody starts watching HighSchoolMusical, just kinda reversed... if you know what i mean. Also, I doubt that they'll not make an episode about Bronies. MLP is basically the most popular thing that came out last year, and South Park searches for some modern topics to base their episodes on - which, ironically, lead to their loss of viewers and/or followers. They'll probably make a KONY 2012 episode as well. Back in the day, when South Park was at it's peak, they didn't rely on modern topics to keep us entertained - probably that's the reason why we enjoyed those episodes. Maybe we're just fed up with modern media. They were funny, original and... well, Kenny used to die much more than now. Back to MLP - I guess the only banana on this slippery road is the Copyright of MLP - they'll need the OK from Hasbro to make an episode basing on MLP.
It's been confirmed fake. But that doesn't eliminate the possibility of it still appearing as a future episode.
And I was making a joke. I despise South Park. Regardless if it's intentional, it cuts production time.
Eh... I never really liked it. I don't really know why to be honest. Perhaps I'll give it a try again.
I hated South Park forever, I haven't seen one episode but I know how bad it is as my friends do watch it. If it does come back as a future ep I honestly don't care.
I actually do quite like South Park. Well, for the most part. I mean, yes most of their episodes aren't that great but some of them are simply HILARIOUS. Though... I don't see this as anything but foreboding. I have a feeling that they're not going to show us in a very... positive light. :I I mean, for at least all the episodes I've seen... anything that the episode is mainly about is horridly ridiculed. So. I really just don't want there to be any more "LOL PONIES ARE GAY" stuff floating about anymore than there already is. -.-
