A valid opinion but I think Ewan Mcgregor does a cracking job as Obi Wan -- "You were the chosen one Anakin! You were supposed to destroy the sith, not join them!" (or whatever it was) The emotion behind that line seems pretty legit to me :') Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk 2
Ewan Mcgregor did a brilliant job. He was my favourite thing about the prequels. Fun fact: Alec Guinness (the old obi-wan) despised his role as a character in the old Star Wars, I even heard a rumor when asked for an autograph he said yes on the condition the kid never watches those movies again. On topic, I loved the battle to destroy the first death star. Thanks to one random Tie fighter pilot the day was saved. Seriously, Han didn't save luke. He shot the one fighter but vader was still locked on and ready to blow up luke. Then suddenly our nameless pilot crashes into vader and save the day (yay). Darth Maul vs. Qui Gon was a pretty epic fight, until the end where Maul basically jumps into that pit >.> the Star Wars series had a ton of good scenes imo
True, Ewan Mcgregor wasn't bad at all. Like is said, it's mostly Hayden's acting that wasn't very good in my opinion. As for the cliché and cheesy lines, i guess Lucas is the one to blame.
