Hey I was wondering did any of you other than me and my family watch/ see the new show that aired/ premired on The History Channel last night it's called The Bible and is of course based on the bible?
No offense intended, but the fact that the miniseries was produced by Mark Burnett certainly explains why there's always an uber-christian castaway on Survivor and why the other castaways go along with it instead of saying "no thanks, I'd rather not". They're probably contractually obligated to do that and they have no choice. If other people enjoy that kind of show, that's fine, but I choose not to pay attention to it. Survivor's horribly scripted anyway even without the blatent evangelism. For the record, if I feel like watching something biblical, I'll pull out Godspell or Jesus Christ Superstar, both excellent films.
Pretty interesting/ good show so far looking forward to watching Episode 2 on Sunday plus I need to get around to reading the real bible sometime.
My mom told me she found out there's only going to be five episode of this show because The History Channel only recorded/ made ten hours of footage and every episode last two hours.
