I think this is actually better than FIM. :Trollestia: Blurgh... My first troll-attempt ever. Didn't gave me the rush I exspected.
I watched to the end it was bad. But I made it. If you want a real challenge try watching MLP the movie. I watched it with commentaries. It was bad, but the worst parts were when humans were on screen. Plus the ponies were even uglier then these ones. I that scene you showed had better voice actors and G4 ponies I'm sure we would have liked it a lot more.
You can see the vivid differences between that show and Friendship is Magic. It's not a little kids show anymore. Lauren Faust is amazing
It was painful. I passed out halfway in the middle, so I had to go back to the part I left. 'Passing out' isn't on your list, so do I win? If it isn't pony merch, it isn't worth it...
Honest opinion. Not that bad. Granted, I could barely watch it without cringing, but that's because pre G4 were solely and narrowly targeted at little girls. Seriously, they love this stuff, and that's what the whole premise of the original show was (that and marketing). This may be unenjoyable to watch for some, but for those who are actually within it's target demographic, it's perfect. Where we're so used to family orientated and complex writing, seeing a clearly childish and girly show using the same characters can be strange and uncomfortable. However, if it were any other show, with characters we'd never heard of, we wouldn't bat an eyelid. One thing that causes me discomfort is the fact that haters of this community, those of the ignorant kind, may think that this is the show we watch. That would completely derail any argument we may pose of this show being suprisingly mature and enjoyable, and clearly directed at entire families, because frankly that show isn't. I can't stress enough how I am not a fan of the My Little Pony franchise, I am a fan of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV show, as well as a member of the brony community, not the My Little Pony community. While there may be crossovers, in fact there should be crossovers, being part of one may not mean being part of another. I know there are a few fans of the original series that don't like Friendship is Magic at all. Heck, there may be a thread on a forum out there just like this one, but in reverse. But, we have to respect that, it's all taste and opinion.
If i had kids, i'd still rather have them watching G4. When i look at G3, i can't help but think it starts killing braincells at a young age. What kids like isn't always the best for them, and they like G4 just as much. Children always learn and take examples from cartoons. G4 teaches values, and shows all kinds of emotions. It teaches children how to behave around others. G3 just shows kids "Duuuuurrrrrrrr!" What kids from age 1 to 10 learn are the foundations of their life. Getting good grades, being a good person, it all starts there, and there's no better cartoon i can think of than Friendship is Magic. The right youth could transform each child into a genius. In short: G3 = Paris Hilton G4 = Albert Einstein Who do you want your kids to turn into?
