I'm sorry I shouldn't have said the word disgust I just don't like the idea of a guy dressing as a girl although in this show that idea seems funny but I don't really want to see or hear about that in real life.
It's still pretty offensive to say that you don't want to see it in real life. Listen, if a man wants to wear a dress, what is so wrong about that? You don't have to find it visually appealing, but downright stating that you don't want to see it? That's pretty narrow-minded. Let people wear what they want. I don't find tons of make-up aesthetically pleasing, but I don't go around saying I don't want to see it. Gendered clothing is a social construct, anyway.
I don't wish to start anything, but he's fine in his opinion in what he prefers not to see. Not wanting to see something does not equate to hating it. He's not denying anyone anything with his preferences. Because in the end, they are just that... Take a few steps back and stop borderline attacking him.
Okay, those are just badly done. "Yes, I have hair only on the front of my legs. I shaved off the rest. This is how I like to wear it." Is it explicitly stated that he is twelve, or was that just a guess? I don't know how many twelve-year-olds even have hairy legs, but even if we say he's an early bloomer, heels seem like a bit much. Who wears heels at that age? And while we're at it, why are there so many stiletto-wearing superheroines? Don't answer that question, I'm just getting carried away here.
Well today was the day. I'll admit, I was a little peeved that I had to work but I've got a truck to pay off so I needed the overtime. Anyway, for anyone who saw the first episode, would you say it was she-larious or just she-tarded? BTW, I apologize for the puns! I've been coming up with a pant-load of them!
Finally saw Shezow it did keep me entertained and I did kind of like it so i'll definetly watch more of it on Saturday.
I noticed something today. Many, if not all, of Guy/SheZow's lines have been re-dubbed. Vocally, I've noticed significant differences between the episodes on pollystreaming.com and the ones on the Hub. Primarily, the fact that Guy's "SheZow" voice isn't as high pitched as in the originals. Oh well, just my overly critical mind catching stupid details. No biggie.
There's something I realized about the show today and that is compared to TMNT, Marvel and DC superhero cartoon shows and all four shows from the Ben 10 series, Shezow for me is just a ok superhero cartoon show, I don't hate it or anything but it's just ok compared to all those other listed cartoon shows.
If you are following the show like I am, you can see the episodes about 3 weeks before they air on the Hub. Check it out!!!
